While Hurry Up Tomorrow, the new movie from The Weeknd, did not perform as expected at the box office, the album of the same name is on the rise on charts all around the world. Interest in the project hasn't waned much since it arrived in early 2025, and it's now gaining ground in a meaningful way. This week, in addition to the full-length growing, the set's lead single also rebounds on a number of Billboard rankings.
The track is becoming not just a certified smash once more, but a No. 1 success story. As it returns to the summit, it helps the man behind the tune match achievements reached by several other superstars – and even himself.
'Timeless,' a collaboration between The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, jumps back to No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart. It lifts from No. 4 to the peak position in its thirty-third frame on the ranking of the most consumed R&B tunes throughout the U.S.
As it rebounds to the top spot, the tune earns its twentieth stay at No. 1. 'Timeless' is just the eighth single in history to spend 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
As it reaches that milestone, it ties with three other tracks as the fifth longest-running champion ever. The Weeknd matches his own successful run with 'Starboy,' a collaboration with Daft Punk. He also ties both 'One Dance' by Drake, Wizkid, and Kyla, and 'That's What I Like' by Bruno Mars, all of which held on for just as long.
Of the eight tracks that have ruled the Hot R&B Songs chart for 20 weeks or more, three belong to The Weeknd. He continues to lead all tunes with 'Blinding Lights,' which sits in a distant first place with 48 frames at No. 1. SZA claims the next two spots on this all-time ranking, as 'Snooze' and 'Kill Bill' dominated for 32 and 30 frames, respectively. 'Million Dollar Baby,' the breakout cut from Tommy Richman, managed 22 stays at No. 1 during its reign just last year.
'Timeless' was recently reissued as a remix featuring Doechii, one of the hottest names in rap at the moment. Her presence helped spur sales and streams of the track, and while she isn't credited on the Billboard charts — her version is apparently not the most consumed 'Timeless' — the boost in attention can clearly be connected, at least partially, back to her inventive verse.
Headlines focusing on The Weeknd's movie also brought attention back to Hurry Up Tomorrow, the album, as well as its singles. There's a good chance that 'Timeless' was headed for a rise anyway, whether Doechii got involved or not.
This week, 'Timeless' hits No. 1 on both the Hot R&B Songs and R&B Streaming Songs charts. It can also be found inside the top 10 on five other Billboard tallies.

Lakers' Luka Doncic makes mind-blowing admission about LeBron James

The post Lakers' Luka Doncic makes mind-blowing admission about LeBron James appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a disappointing playoff exit in the first round at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves, but that didn't come as too much of a surprise with a roster that was still in flux after acquiring Luka Doncic midseason. Advertisement While you always take Doncic if he is presented to you, trading away Anthony Davis for him in the middle of the season left the Lakers without any reliable bigs heading into the playoffs. After the proposed trade for Mark Williams fell through, the Lakers didn't have any options in the middle. That really hurt them against the Timberwolves in the first round, but now the Lakers can focus on building a roster around Doncic and LeBron James heading into next season. After playing with James for a few months to end this season, Doncic couldn't believe how intense James' routines actually are. 'I've never played with a guy like this,' Doncic said. 'Being traded to LA, it was different, but just to play with guys like him, it's unbelievable. I can learn so much stuff. Off the court, he does so much stuff just to be ready for the game. Obviously on the court everybody knows what kind of player he is. Advertisement He shows up like 10 hours before the game… I came to the arena and he was already done working out.' Doncic and James unquestionably form one of the best duos in the NBA, but they need some more help around them in order to compete for a championship in the loaded Western Conference. The Lakers were down to just five players that JJ Redick trusted in that first-round series, which is not a sustainable way to make it through multiple rounds in the playoffs. Doncic was also recovering from a calf injury and playing himself into shape over the back half of the season. A full offseason to get ready and get acclimated in Los Angeles should do wonders for him, and he and James should be ready to make some noise in the purple and gold again next season.

Stranger Things Season 5 Release Strategy Released By Netflix And... Hmmm...

If you've ever been hooked on a tentpole Netflix series, the chances are you're already familiar with the concept of the platform's split seasons. For the past few years, the streaming giant has been releasing hit shows like Bridgerton, Emily In Paris and You in two batches one month apart, in an apparent bid to hold onto subscribers for longer. But for the upcoming Stranger Things finale, they're taking this one step further. The fifth and final season of the award-winning sci-fi series has been a long time coming, and on Sunday, Netflix finally revealed when fans will be able to watch the last instalments. 'Volume one' of season five will debut on Wednesday 26 November, with the second batch coming just under a month later, on Christmas Day. But that's not all – the actual finale isn't due to arrive until a week after that, premiering on New Year's Eve at 5pm Pacific time (which will be just as the clock strikes midnight at the arrival of 2026 here in the UK). The fight isn't over yet. Get ready for the epic series finale of Stranger 1: November 26, 5pm PT*Volume 2: Christmas, 5pm PT*The Finale: New Year's Eve, 5pm PT**releasing worldwide all at once, date may vary based on your local timezone # — Netflix (@netflix) June 1, 2025 And Netflix's decision to split Stranger Things into three separate parts has certainly raised eyebrows over on X… taking over 3 years to release a new season and then releasing it in 3 parts. this is actually ridiculous — v (@R1CHONNES) June 1, 2025 3 parts — . My plan for this summer is rewatch the series so that I'm ready for this! #StrangerThings5https:// — Steph2Def (@Steph2Def) June 1, 2025 I need it to be November already😭😭😭 — 로템✡︎🎗️🍋 (@little_woobear) June 1, 2025 no one bother me November 26, Christmas, New Year's Eve — lewy. (@spcckyfucker) June 1, 2025 We will be there — ໊ (@PapiGing) June 1, 2025 literally made my whole day. — camila (@rcadsbetween) June 1, 2025 The most recent season of Stranger Things premiered in 2022, with the first half of the episodes dropping in May and the second coming in July. Stranger Things' fourth was notable as it led to a resurgence in popularity for Kate Bush's hit Running Up That Hill, which topped the UK singles chart almost 40 years after it was first released. The first four seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream now on Netflix ahead of the fifth run premiering at the end of 2025. Yarbrough's revenge: How a World Series ring inspired his win for the Yankees over the Dodgers

LOS ANGELES — Ryan Yarbrough picked up a dazzling World Series ring from his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers last season. Then he went out and beat them. The New York Yankees starter pitched one-run ball over six innings, struck out a season-high five and blanked the Dodgers' top four hitters in a 7-3 win Sunday night. 'I feel like I'm in a really good place right now and really trying to continue that,' Yarbrough said. 'I'm having a lot of fun.' The 33-year-old left-hander made 44 relief appearances between the Dodgers and Blue Jays last season. The Dodgers designated him for assignment on July 29 and the next day traded him to Toronto. So even though he wasn't around for their World Series victory over the Yankees last fall, Yarbrough earned a ring. He accepted it from Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes on Friday behind home plate during batting practice. 'Trying to keep that a little discreet, especially with where we're at now, but kind of cool to be able to get that,' Yarbrough said. He signed a $2 million, one-year deal with New York in March and is 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA this season. Making his first career start against the Dodgers, Yarbrough recorded 17 swings-and-misses — including seven with his sweeper. The top four hitters in Los Angeles' lineup had produced at least one hit in every game this season. That is, until Shohei Ohtani, Teoscar Hernández, Freddie Freeman and Will Smith combined to go 0 for 14 in the series finale against Yarbrough and the Yankees. New York manager Aaron Boone has called Yarbrough a throwback, noting his 6-foot-5 frame creates a 'funky' angle for hitters. 'He's got a lot of ways to get you out. Just when you think he's slowing you down, slowing you down, he's able to speed you up enough,' Boone said. 'It feels like it's hard to get a bead on him.' It certainly was for Ohtani. He struck out on five pitches ranging from 70-86 mph in the first inning, when Yarbrough retired the side in order. Later, he set down 13 of 15 batters before exiting. 'He's not going to light up the radar gun, but all his pitches feel like they get on you,' teammate DJ LeMahieu said. 'His fastballs look like they get on you and his off-speed looks extra slow. He's got good stuff and he knows what he's doing out there.' Yarbrough conceded his familiarity with his ex-teammates helped, too. 'It was just a matter of execution and keeping them off balance and not putting them in counts where they can really hunt for certain pitches,' he said. It was also a big night for LeMahieu, who had his first four-hit game since 2021. He drove in two runs and raised his batting average to .239. The second baseman had three singles and a double on a night when Aaron Judge was the only Yankees player without a hit. 'I feel good. Good to get some results,' LeMahieu said. ___ AP MLB:
