Government Approves Recognition for NMMC CBSE Schools
Navi Mumbai: Two CBSE schools of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) received permanent recognition from govt, extending their affiliation with CBSE board until 2030. The schools, School No 93, CBSE School Seawood Sector 50, and School No 94, Koparkhairane Sector 11, were inaugurated on Aug 4, 2018, to provide quality English medium education to lower and lower middle-class students in Navi Mumbai civic area. The recognition marks a significant achievement for the NMMC Education Department. Municipal commissioner Dr Kailas Shinde, along with his team, played pivotal roles in securing this status, said an official from the education department of NMMC. Admissions for Class 1 began in the academic year 2018, with subsequent classes introduced each year through class rotation. Currently, both schools offer education from Class 1 to Class 8 and are equipped with smart TVs, CCTV cameras, computer rooms, digital classrooms, supplementary nutrition, sports facilities, and qualified teachers, said Shinde. School No 94, Koparkhairane, was honoured as a 'PM Shri School' at the central level, reflecting the high standards achieved. "The schools have witnessed increasing student enrolment and positive responses from the community," said an official. "This is a milestone in the quality educational journey of NMMC," stated Shinde. Papers will be held in single shifts, from 9 am to 12 pm. MP board Class 10 exams will end with the Social Science paper. MP board 12th final exams will begin on February 7, 2026 and end on March 3. The exam will be held from 9 am to 12 pm. The Class 12 board exams will start with the Hindi paper and end with Geography, Crop Production and Horticulture, Still Life and Design and Anatomy Physiology & Health papers. Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam venue up to 15 minutes before the exam starts. If a holiday is announced later, the exam will be held as per the planned schedule. Candidates who appeared for the MAH CET can now check their round 2 seat allotment status on the official website at The allotment results include both candidate-wise and institute-wise details. Students who have been allotted seats in the MAH LLB 5-year CAP 2025 round 2 must report to their respective colleges by August 19 to confirm their admission. Those willing to participate in the third round are required to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. Reporting within the given timeline is essential for seat confirmation and further participation in the admission process. Important government guidelines and candidate eligibility for round 2 Several government notifications govern the CAP 5-year LLB admission process, including Government Extraordinary Gazettes dated May 2017, June 2019, August 2020, and June 2023. Colleges are instructed not to verify CET examination details but only the details filled in the CAP application form. Candidates must submit original caste validity certificates (CVC), tribe validity certificates (TVC), non-creamy layer certificates (NCL), and economically weaker section (EWS) certificates by the last date of Round 3 admission. Candidates eligible for Round 2 include those allotted a seat other than their first preference who either rejected, did not report, or did not confirm their seat during Round 1, as well as those who paid the seat acceptance fee but failed to report. Candidates admitted through first preference and who confirmed their seat in Round 1 are not eligible for Round 2. Candidates who made errors in filling SSC and HSC marks and were rejected by colleges can edit their CAP application between August 21 and August 23 for Round 3 participation. ICSE and CBSE board candidates who filled marks for five or six subjects will be considered for admission, and colleges are instructed not to reject such candidates.
