The first 2 Gestrals appear in Act 1, early on. The first one lingers right outside the Nest of Esquie, impossible to miss, after the quest of Gestral Village. The second one awaits you, past the Burgeon enemy, near the Stone Wave cliffs. Approach it with caution if you are under-leveled,
By Act 2, swimming already unlocks. Use it to access the 4 other Gestrals. The third one is on the west of White Tree portrayal, while the 4th one is in the southeast of the Monoco's Station, between the twin trees. The 5th Gestral is located on the northern beach, past the coral reefs, and the 6th one is on the island that's on the northwest of the Old Lumiere. It is guarded by the mimes.
The final 3 Gestrals demand the flight activity of Esquie in Act 3. The 7th Gestral is located on the sky-high platform near Endless Tower. The 8th one, on the other hand, hides on the grassy ledge that is on the northeast of the wooden tower of Visages. The last and the 9th Gestral lurk on the southeast of Sirene, which is close to the Endless Night Sanctuary portal. Just make sure to mark all the spots early on. However, do not stress much, as backtracking is always an option.
