He could be on the move once more this summer. Indeed, as they look to avoid falling foul of strict Premier League PSR rules, Villa are 'prepared to sell' Barry before next Monday, claims HullLive.
News of his potential departure from Villa Park is said to have alerted numerous clubs from across the English Championship.
In January, it was reported that Celtic were 'set' to lodge a seven-figure offer for Barry, yet nothing came to fruition. It remains to be seen whether they'll return to the table for the 22-year-old this summer.
Barry scored 16 goals in 24 games in an impressive loan spell at Stockport County at the beginning of the year.
In other news, Shaun Maloney has recently been appointed as Celtic's new Professional Player Pathway Manager, replacing Darren O'Dea.
"It is a huge honour to be given this opportunity to return to Celtic," Maloney told celticfc.com after taking the role.
"My aim will be to work really closely between our Academy and the First Team and create the very best opportunities for success, which will ultimately be represented by more and more players reaching our first team environment.

The Scottish champions and Nottingham Forest have been linked with the promising attacker Celtic have been urged to move quickly to snap up Irish teen sensation Cathal O'Sullivan. The Hoops have been linked with a swoop for the 18-year-old Cork City attacker - who is also on the radar of Nottingham Forest. Brendan Rodgers might get a closer look at the rising star when the teams meet in next month's pre-season clash at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. He played at pretty much every age group there before being massive in their promotion back to the top division. He got seven goals, three assists and he's just a constant threat "He got into the PFAI Team of the Year as well off the back of some stunning performances and a few absolute stunners as well.
