Mark Ruffalo returns as Hulk in Spider-Man 4 alongside Tom Holland and Punisher
Mark Ruffalo is officially returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the highly anticipated fourth installment in the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man franchise. Set for release on July 31, 2026, the film is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with longtime Spider-Man writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers penning the script. Production is scheduled to begin this month in England. Ruffalo joins an already star-studded cast. Jon Bernthal will reprise his fan-favorite role as the Punisher, marking the character's first big-screen appearance since Punisher: War Zone in 2008. Michael Mando is also returning as Scorpion, a villain he first portrayed in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). Holland's previous Spider-Man films have featured mentorship-like partnerships with major MCU characters like Iron Man, Nick Fury, and Doctor Strange. In true Marvel fashion, Brand New Day is expected to showcase plenty of internal conflict, with Spider-Man, Hulk, and Punisher likely clashing before uniting against a common enemy. Plot details remain under wraps, but the team-up style evokes the spirit of Marvel Team-Up comics, which paired Spider-Man with different heroes in each issue. Ruffalo's return continues his long-standing role as Hulk, having appeared in films like Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Endgame, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. With multiple MCU veterans in the mix, Brand New Day promises a massive crossover event for Marvel fans.

‘The Holiday' limited series adaptation reportedly in development at Apple TV+
Apple TV+ is developing a limited series adaptation of the beloved 2006 romantic comedy The Holiday, according to Variety and Deadline. The project, which is currently in early development, will reimagine the premise of the original film while introducing a new cast of characters. As with the Nancy Meyers-directed film, the upcoming series will follow two women — one American and one British — who swap homes over the Christmas season and unexpectedly find love. Unlike the movie, however, the series will not follow the original characters portrayed by Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and Jack Black. Krissie Ducker (Killing Eve, Sweetpea) is attached to write and executive produce the show, with Rob Delaney (Catastrophe) also contributing as a writer. The series is being produced by Left Bank Pictures. Notably, Nancy Meyers, who wrote, directed, and produced the 2006 hit, is not involved in the TV adaptation. Casting is currently underway. Should the team secure the right talent, the show is expected to receive an official greenlight from the streamer. The original film was a box office success, grossing over $200 million globally. Over time, The Holiday has gained cult status, often cited as a go-to comfort film during the holiday season. The movie featured Winslet as Iris, a London-based journalist, and Diaz as Amanda, a Los Angeles businesswoman. Their decision to swap homes during the holidays led them to cross paths with Graham (Law) and Miles (Black), forming the film's central romantic arcs. Ducker is represented by Independent Talent Group and Black Bear. She began her career as a writer's assistant on Catastrophe, which Delaney co-created and starred in alongside Sharon Horgan.

Adria Arjona shares sweet birthday tribute to Jason Momoa as his series Chief of War Debuts
Jason Momoa turned 46 on August 1, and his girlfriend, actress Adria Arjona, marked the occasion with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Arjona, 33, shared a romantic message along with a series of photos capturing the couple enjoying time together — riding motorcycles, walking in nature, and embracing on the beach. "Happy birthday mi amor," Arjona wrote. "There's nothing I love more than doing life by your side. So here's to one more year of being wild and free and to forever growing young. Love you so much babii." The Hit Man star also praised Momoa's latest project, the Apple TV+ historical drama Chief of War, which premiered the same day. "Excited for the world to watch what you've poured your heart and soul into for the past years," she added. Fans responded warmly to the post, calling the couple 'beautiful' and praising their chemistry. Momoa himself commented, 'Te amo mi amor. Luckiest man alive.' The couple made their relationship public in May 2024 when Momoa shared photos of them together during a trip to Japan. Since then, they've frequently appeared in affectionate posts on social media. Chief of War, a nine-part series starring and co-created by Momoa, focuses on true events in Polynesian history and features a predominantly Polynesian cast. The first two episodes are now streaming, with new episodes released weekly. Adding to the buzz, Momoa recently shaved his iconic beard for the first time in over six years, ahead of filming Dune: Part Three. In a video shared online, he dedicated the transformation to director Denis Villeneuve. Momoa was previously married to actress Lisa Bonet, with whom he shares two children. Bonet filed for divorce in early 2024, officially ending their marriage.
