The bargain was spotted by a shopper in the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, who posted a picture of the furniture item.
They wrote: "Managed to grab one in my local Aldi, so pleased as almost half the price of other places at £17.99. 3 different designs to choose from."
Similar solar glass bird baths are on sale at other UK retailers for more than double the price.
For example, B&Q is selling a Taylor and Brown Solar Glass Bird Bath Fountain, with a hand-painted sunflower design, for £39.99.
Shoppers hailed Aldi's bird bath as "beautiful", with one replying to the Facebook post: "I want one".
Others had already snapped up the item from Aldi's middle-aisle.
One fan wrote: "I got the hummingbird one today - I love it, can't wait for it to light up tonight!"
However, some shoppers who had purchased the bird bath shared valuable tips on how to care for it and prevent damage.
"Don't leave them out over winter," one user said. "If the water freezes they crack. I've had two go on my over the years."
Another said: "Mine is fab keep in conservatory no prob."
Aldi is selling a 'rechargeable' essential for just $9.99 – shoppers say they'll be 'wearing one all day' this summer
The bird bath is made of a glass bowl and metal stand, and features six cool white LED lights. It is 53cm high and 35.5cm in width.
It's available in three animal-inspired designs - bee, hummingbird and peacock - while stocks last.
On its website, Aldi says: "Make sure the birds have a stylish and safe space included in your garden this summer with this Solar Bird Bath."
The product will only be available to buy in stores, however, as Aldi doesn't offer a home delivery service.
As well as the bird bath, Aldi is also selling a Solar Blossom Tree for £19.99, featuring 100 LED lights and pink cherry blossom style flowers.
You can find your nearest Aldi branch by using the retailer's store locator tool, found via stores.aldi.co.uk/store-finder.

How to save money on your food shop
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save hundreds of pounds a year:
Odd boxes - plenty of retailers offer slightly misshapen fruit and veg or surplus food at a discounted price.
Lidl sells five kilos of fruit and veg for just £1.50 through its Waste Not scheme while Aldi shoppers can get Too Good to Go bags which contain £10 worth of all kinds of products for £3.30.
Sainsbury's also sells £2 "Taste Me, Don't Waste Me" fruit and veg boxes to help shoppers reduced food waste and save cash.
Food waste apps - food waste apps work by helping shops, cafes, restaurants and other businesses shift stock that is due to go out of date and passing it on to members of the public.
Some of the most notable ones include Too Good to Go and Olio.
Too Good to Go's app is free to sign up to and is used by millions of people across the UK, letting users buy food at a discount.
Olio works similarly, except users can collect both food and other household items for free from neighbours and businesses.
Yellow sticker bargains - yellow sticker bargains, sometimes orange and red in certain supermarkets, are a great way of getting food on the cheap.
But what time to head out to get the best deals varies depending on the retailer. You can see the best times for each supermarket here.
Super cheap bargains - sign up to bargain hunter Facebook groups like Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK where shoppers regularly post hauls they've found on the cheap, including food finds.
"Downshift" - you will almost always save money going for a supermarket's own-brand economy lines rather than premium brands.
The move to lower-tier ranges, also known as "downshifting" and hailed by consumer expert Martin Lewis, could save you hundreds of pounds a year on your food shop.
Save money at Aldi
Keeping your eyes peeled for Aldi's Specialbuys is a great way to save money at the retailer.
It's also worth keeping an eye out for any red sticker products when you're doing your grocery shopping, which are added to items going out of date or that are slightly damaged.
It's best to get to your local store early if you're looking for discounts, as Aldi tends to add the stickers to items in the morning.
This also tends to be the best time to get middle-aisle bargains, with shoppers sometimes queuing as early as 4am for some products.
You can also look out for Too Good to Go bags, which cost just £3.30 with £10 worth of food approaching its sell-by or use-by date.

How to create privacy in your garden CREATING privacy in your garden can be achieved in a number of ways depending on your budget, and the size of your space. Here are some effective ways to enhance privacy in your garden: 1. Fencing Install a tall, solid wooden or vinyl fence. This is one of the most straightforward ways to gain immediate privacy. Or use lattice panels, trellis, or slatted fencing to add a decorative touch while still offering privacy. 2. Hedges and Plants Fast-growing evergreen shrubs or trees like Leylandii, Thuja, or Bamboo along the boundary of your garden can help with privacy. Grow a dense hedge using plants like Boxwood, Privet, or Laurel. It may take time to grow, but it provides a natural and green privacy screen. Use climbers like Ivy, Clematis, or Wisteria on fences or trellises to create a lush, green privacy barrier. 3. Outdoor Curtains Hang outdoor curtains around pergolas, gazebos, or patios for an easy-to-adjust privacy solution. 4. Sound Barriers A water fountain or small waterfall can help drown out noise, adding to the sense of privacy. Or install fencing designed to reduce noise if privacy from sound is also a concern. The online retailer is selling an artificial leaf panel which can be attached to your fence or your balcony to give some privacy. Luckily it won't break the bank, with a light colour panel measuring one metre being the cheapest option at £3.50 Finally, Debenhams is selling an ingenious product that adds instant privacy to your fence – and it's been slashed to just £7.
