Intense 'Israeli' bombardment rocks northern Gaza

Roya News19 hours ago
Northern Gaza came under heavy 'Israeli' bombardment early Saturday, with 'Israeli' media reporting that the sound of explosions from the airstrikes shook towns and settlements surrounding the besieged enclave.
According to Al Jazeera, 'Israeli' warplanes launched approximately 30 airstrikes on the town of Beit Hanoun, located in the northeastern corner of the Gaza Strip.
Journalists described the bombardment as 'intense,' with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reportedly employing what are known as 'fire belts,' a tactic involving sustained shelling over a wide area to isolate or destroy entire zones.

Dozens of Extremist Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Under Israeli Police Protection - Jordan News

Dozens of Extremist Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Under Israeli Police Protection Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound (Al-Haram Al-Sharif) in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning, entering through the Moroccan Gate under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police. اضافة اعلان According to a statement by the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem, the settlers roamed the courtyards of the holy site, received briefings about the so-called "Temple," and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the compound. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued to impose tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, seizing their ID cards at the mosque's outer gates and obstructing their access. Widespread calls have been issued urging residents of Jerusalem and Palestinians in the occupied interior to mobilize, remain present, and maintain a steadfast presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The calls emphasize the importance of mass turnout and performing prayers at the mosque as a practical response to the occupation's ongoing violations, and to resist attempts to isolate the holy site from its religious and popular surroundings. Al-Aqsa Mosque faces near-daily incursions and violations by settlers—except on Fridays and Saturdays—under the protection of Israeli police, in what is widely seen as part of efforts to impose a temporal and spatial division of the mosque. — (Petra)

Following Freedom Flotilla Handala on its way to Gaza

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) announced Sunday that it will launch a new mission on July 13, sending the vessel Handala toward Gaza in a direct challenge to what it calls Israel's 'illegal, deadly blockade' of the coastal enclave. The boat, named after the iconic Palestinian cartoon character representing resistance and exile, will carry humanitarian aid and a delegation of civilians determined to break through the ongoing siege. Onboard will be volunteer medics, human rights defenders, journalists, lawyers, and community organizers from around the world. 'The vessel will carry life-saving humanitarian aid and a message of solidarity from people around the world refusing to stay silent as Gaza is starved, bombed, and buried under rubble,' the coalition said in a press statement. This latest mission comes just weeks after a previous flotilla boat, the Madleen, was reportedly seized by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in international waters. According to the coalition, twelve unarmed civilians aboard that ship, including a Member of the European Parliament, a doctor, and several journalists, were detained, interrogated, and eventually deported.
