Full circle moment for Donegal Fleadh star (6) set to travel in style to buy suit of dreams

The little entertainer has raised enough money to buy the dapper suit he had his heart set on at Gerard Anthony Menswear, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim since he saw it while looking dancing shoes when he was attending Áirc Damhsa's Culture Camp.
To mark the occasion, young Séamie Séan is gearing up for his grand arrival in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, August 16, making his way to the store in a stretched limousine along with his cousins who will serve as his 'bodyguards' for the day.
Adding to the full circle experience, Séamie Séan will be joined by by dancers and musicians from Áirc Damhsa, founded by local treasure and artistic director, Edwina Guckian.
It was Edwina who first suggested he visit Gerard Anthony Menswear when he originally went looking for dancing shoes as he was attending Áirc Damhsa's Culture Camp in the town. There were no shoes, but he spotted the suit. And so, the story will come full circle on Saturday with a celebratory dance, fun and festivities.
Young Séamie Séan is the son of renowned Kíla musician Seanan Brennan and musician/actress Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick and has been surrounded by music all his life, singing since the age of two and recently taking up the fiddle with Comhaltas Phil Rooney Branch Ballyshannon.
During his live TV debut, Séamie Séan told Fleadh25 presenter Aoife Ní Thuairisg that he was going busking at the Fleadh to save for the suit.
His mother had agreed he could have it if he raised the money himself and so the showman got to it, playing a tune, singing and even doing The Brush Dance on the bustling Wexford streets and winning the hearts of the nation in the process.
Lorg Media on behalf of TG4 captured Séamus Seán's first busking gig at the Fleadh.
There will be music, dancing, and plenty of laughter as Séamie Séan picks up his dream suit and enjoys a well-earned moment in the spotlight.

What Belfast's top musicians made of Wexford's Fleadh and why 2026 will be the ‘biggest and the best of all time'

Wexford hosted the largest ever attended Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann last week, but Belfast has set its sights on going bigger again next year Niall McClean and Mervyn MccCleery are the Chairperson and PRO respectively, of Ards Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the Belfast branch which will bring the world's largest annual festival of Irish traditional music and dance to the city for the first time ever in 2026. They were both staying in Whites of Wexford, in the heart of town, and by the time we spoke on Saturday night, the end was in sight. Perhaps relief for both of them that a long, hot, relentlessly busy and enjoyable week away from home was coming to an end. But a little nervousness that Belfast's first ever Fleadh would immediately follow the largest ever and most successful Fleadh in history.
