And now, after pals expressed fears he was on a 'downward spiral', the actor has reportedly gone missing from his £1.2million London home after getting back in trouble with the law.
The 50-year-old, who has a two-year-old son, Bud, has recently been convicted of riding a BMW motorbike without insurance in an affluent part of the capital, according to
The incident, which happened near Lord's Cricket Ground last August, came just months after Anderson smiled beside a state-of-the-art electric BMW bike for an Instagram photo.

'She's a blinder,' wrote Anderson, sharing that he had 'spent weeks' working with BMW to 'customise the release of the highly anticipated vibrantly different and electric CE02'.
The star failed to attend his hearing at Bexley Magistrates Court in south-east London in March - where he was found guilty of the charge - amid claims he is now untraceable.
Authorities who are looking into another matter - Anderson's alleged failure to attend a follow-up meeting with a social worker after he pleaded guilty to possessing crack cocaine in January last year - reportedly can't locate the actor's current whereabouts.
But bizarrely, despite the 'missing' claims, Anderson has just given a rare interview to a local Scottish newspaper ahead of a planned appearance in Dundee in June.

This week, The Sun revealed that a new series of the hit BBC crime drama will be filmed this summer, with episodes hopefully ready to air in 2026.
The show's sixth series saw the Birmingham gangsters in the 1930s, while an upcoming Netflix film related to the series, which stars Murphy, is set during the Second World War.
The new series is likely to move the cast into the Fifties — an era known for violent mobs of Teddy Boys and the rise of notorious East London villains the
A TV insider said: 'The sixth series of Peaky Blinders was supposed to be the last and the movie was meant to be the final farewell for the story.
'But show boss Steven Knight couldn't resist coming back to the story — his most famous creation — and he's been dropping hints he wanted to return to do more.
'The fact that it's been officially green-lit by the Beeb and wheels are in motion on pre- production will be a huge thrill to fans of the show, which was a huge hit for the BBC.'
Amid his troubles, it has been reported that Anderson missed out on filming the Peaky Blinders movie and has been making £150-per-message from personalised Cameos.
But the actor recently hinted at his potential involvement in the seventh Peaky Blinders series.
'There's more to come on that,' he told The Courier, revealing he'd signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). 'There's a movie to come and then there's possible talk on another season. We've all sworn a secrecy thing with that one so I can't really say much.'

Last summer, Anderson opened up about 'struggling' in an Instagram clip - amid concerns from pals that he was on a 'downward spiral' and 'living like he is on another planet'.
He said: "Just like you, search inside, find it for yourself, overcome the struggles, the tribulations, the pain that you are feeling. Because there is no story without struggle."
The star, who has previously spoken of battling with self-doubt, continued: "Take it from me, I have struggled, and I struggle today, the same way you do, and we deal with it.
"If I can help you deal with your struggles, then let's do it together, let's make this the first of many conversations, because you can't do it on your own, you need help.
"And I will say this one more thing to you, you can help others, in turn, it will help you. It's called service. So turn around my friend, look for somebody else who also is suffering, and hard as you may find it, help them, because you'll find it helps you more, believe it or not.
"Remember this, we are amazing. You are unbelievable."
Just weeks earlier, Anderson had been pictured topless near his north London home.
The new dad was seen flashing his chest tattoos in the sunshine, with a green jumper tied around his waist and a lighter in his hand.

In the pictures, he looked worlds away from his suited-and-booted character as he shopped at a London bakery wearing a chunky cream fleece and a leopard print hoodie.
Anderson appeared downbeat, with his complexion pale.

Aside from Anderson's appearance, his criminal past has worried fans.
The Sun reported in December 2023 how the actor - who has had plot lines involving drugs on Peaky Blinders - was caught with crack cocaine on Boxing Day in Camden.
Anderson, who also starred alongside Tom Hardy in the Kray twins biopic Legend, pleaded guilty to possessing the Class A drug, as well as Class B amphetamines and two Class C prescription substances. He was fined £1,345 after appearing in front of magistrates.
However, according to MailOnline, Anderson then allegedly failed to attend a follow-up meeting with a social worker to determine whether he was at risk of being a drug addict.
'You failed to attend an initial assessment to establish whether you were dependant upon or had a propensity to misuse a Class A drug,' said a court summons from January this year.
Although an arrest warrant was issued, it was reportedly withdrawn several weeks ago because Anderson could not be traced. Scotland Yard told the news site inquiries were ongoing.

A source said at the time: 'Paul and Steph broke up a while ago and long before he got into trouble with the police. She's busy cracking on with her life and only wishes him the best.
'Paul has had a hard time but those around him are confident he'll get back on his feet.'
Anderson, who also stars in The Gray House, had kept his relationship with Steph out of the spotlight.
He has done the same with his role as father to toddler Bud - though he gushed this week about the opportunity his son has given him, saying it surpassed any acting job.
'Being a father is the greatest role I've ever had,' he told The Courier.
'It's the greatest part I've ever played.'
The Sun has contacted Anderson's agents for comment.

‘EastEnders' star suspended by BBC after using slur against disabled people on ‘Strictly' set
A video emerged of the actor, who plays Jay Brown on the soap, using the term to describe the people of Blackpool, the town where the show was being filmed. Borthwick is said to have made the offensive remark in a phone video while the Strictly cast were at Blackpool Tower Ballroom last November. A spokesperson for the BBC said: 'This language is entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect at the BBC. 'We have robust processes in place for this.' Warren Kirwan, media manager at disability equality charity Scope, said: 'Attitudes and language like this are never acceptable. It's not just ignorant and hurtful to disabled people, it has wider consequences. 'Negative attitudes hold disabled people back in all areas of life, from getting a job to shopping on the high street. 'Mr Borthwick needs to reflect on what he said, educate himself and do better. 'We hope he takes the opportunity to get to know the reality of disabled people's lives.' Borthwick won the Strictly 2023 Christmas special with Nancy Xu, and won the best actor gong at the Inside Soap Awards in September that year, with the show recognised with the best storyline for Loving And Losing Lola, about character Lola Pearce-Brown's brain tumour diagnosis.

Glasnevin Cemetery is set to host its first queer history tour
Dublin's Glasnevin Cemetery is set to host its first ever queer history tour, running from 20-22 June, celebrating Pride and exploring LGBTQ+ life in Ireland since the 1800s. Anna Collins, a tour guide and researcher at Dublin Cemetries Trust, who has written and researched the tour joined RTÉ Radio 1 to share all the details - listen back above. The oldest person discussed on the tour was born in the 1850s, while the most recent death discussed on the tour took place in 1995, so the range of characters included is incredibly comprehensive. Collecting all this information was no mean feat, and Anna says that she relied on the knowledge of her co-workers, many of whom have been working at Glasnevin Cemetery for years now. "The people who work here really care about everyone in the cemetery," she insists. "They have all these really interesting stories of people, so initially I just put a call out!" The lengthy and thorough process involved months of research, leading to fascinating stories of LGBTQ+ people in Irish history being unearthed. One of the best-known figures on the tour is Thom McGinty, an Irish-Scottish actor and street performer known as The Diceman, who spent many years performing as a living statue on Dublin's Grafton Street. "He really brought so much life to the street," says Anna. "In fact, when he died, they carried his coffin down Grafton Street, and the shops all closed and contributed to the cost of his funeral." Another great character featured in the tour is Jack Saul. Born in the 1850s in the Liberties, Saul was a sex worker who worked in the brothels of Dublin before moving to London, where he often found himself embroiled in high-profile scandals. "This regular, working-class guy was having to appear in courtrooms against lords and dukes and things like that," she laughs. "So he really developed a bit of a name for himself, quite a scandalous figure."

The two very different lives of Brangelina 20 years on and why marrying the world's sexiest man put Angelina off men
SHE was the Hollywood hellraiser with a string of red-hot lovers – including Val Kilmer, Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. From wearing a vial of Billy's blood to tattooing Jonny's name on her left arm, Angelina Jolie was the type of wildchild that fell hard and fast regularly — and cared not what the world thought about her. 6 Angelina got close to Brad on screen and off while filming 2005 movie Mr & Mrs Smith Credit: Alamy 6 Angelina at film festival in Santa Barbara, California earlier this year Credit: Getty 6 Brad's long-awaited Oscar came in 2020 for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Credit: Getty But 20 years ago she met Brad Pitt as they co-starred in comedy-thriller movie Mr & Mrs Smith — and something changed. The couple instantly formed a relationship which looked from the outside like it was increasingly stable and full of love. Brad took on Angelina's adopted baby son from Cambodia, Maddox, now 23, and together they added to their 'rainbow family' by adopting They later added biological kids And they spent 12 happy years together as the world swooned over two of the best-looking people in the world falling for each other like the love stories Hollywood is famous for. But as with so many blockbusters, young love turned to bitter hatred and Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016 — citing 'irreconcilable differences'. Now, all these years since the 2005 movie that birthed ' And certainly no sign of the wild love life she once enjoyed — in fact, the beautiful A-Lister seems so resolutely single that pals are wondering, has marrying the sexiest man in showbiz ultimately turned her off men altogether? Most read in Celebrity Priority is the kids While Brad has bounced back bigger than ever — living with girlfriend Inés de Ramón and garnering a slew of acting awards — Angelina seems to have become something of a recluse. Except from a few dinner dates with The Weeknd — where neither party confirmed a romance — she has remained resolutely single. Angelina Jolie is in 'goddess mode' with new beau – while Brad Pitt is 'putting on for the cameras' with his, says pro Even rumours she was Despite allegations of abuse by Angelina, Brad has emerged relatively unscathed from the ugly eight-year divorce battle that ensued between them, before they finally Meanwhile Angelina, who turned 50 last week, is still recovering from the turmoil, and the general consensus is that she would be hard-pressed to ever date again. Ange still has difficulty trusting, I don't know if she'll ever fully get over the trauma of her divorce. Source close to Angelina She may have been 'lucky' enough to marry the world's sexiest man but, in the wreckage of their acrimonious split and legal battles, she is now off men for good. Speaking exclusively to the Sun, sources tell us Angelina's scars still remain, and are unlikely to ever heal. 'Ange still has difficulty trusting,' says an insider close to the mum of six. 'I don't know if she'll ever fully get over the trauma of her divorce.' Despite being together for years, it was not until 2014 that Brangelina married, at their French vineyard-estate Château Miraval. She wore a veil emblazoned with doodles by their six children. 'It does feel different,' she told Vanity Fair shortly after. 'It feels nice to be husband and wife.' Yet two years later, the dream was over — its collapse sparked by a now-infamous bust-up on a private jet. Within a week of that, Angelina had filed for divorce, alleging in court papers that Brad, in a series of drunken rages, had attacked her and 'choked one of the children and struck another in the face'. Her lawyers later doubled down on the allegations, stating: Brad's actions on the jet were later investigated but he was not charged. Nevertheless, he has since said that his heavy use of booze — which he later gave up — had a negative effect on his family life. As for the years that followed, it was, until recently, just never-ending mud-slinging and legal attacks. The former couple were locked in a bitter dispute for years surrounding the sale of their Miraval estate, as well as the matter of custody. Even today, despite signing off their divorce, details over Miraval are still murky, though it is believed Brad still owns half of it, while Angelina sold her share. As for the kids, four of the six are now legally adults so no longer qualify for custody — but have evidently distanced themselves from Brad entirely. It is believed Maddox has not spoken to him for years — while last year an old Instagram post by Pax resurfaced, in which he Zahara and Shiloh are also said to have ceased contact with Brad, as they both now go by the surname Jolie — Shiloh even filed legal documents to make it official. At this point, only Vivienne and Knox are believed to have any contact with their father. But while Brad has seemingly lost the most from the Brangelina divorce, he looks to have had the biggest bounce-back. Just look at where he stands today — at the age of 61, with the world still at his feet. Despite all the drama and acrimony around his collapsed marriage, his reputation seems untarnished. I guess I'm in transition as a person. I feel a bit down these days. I don't feel like I've been myself for a decade, in a way. Angelina in 2023 Undoubtedly, there must be pain behind the scenes when it comes to his estrangement from the children, but he has played down any notion of enduring trauma. Brad said as much in his recent interview with GQ magazine, claiming the divorce, after all the drawn-out wrangling, was not 'that major of a thing'. He added it was 'just something coming to fruition, legally'. Angelina has remained silent since signing on the dotted line, but she has previously hinted at the chokehold that their fractured relationship has continued to have on her. In 2023, she told Vogue magazine: 'I guess I'm in transition as a person. I feel a bit down these days. I don't feel like I've been myself for a decade, in a way.' Her life has been solely focused around her kids, and they are — by all accounts — her greatest joy. That has been clear enough whenever she has walked the red carpet in recent years, always flanked by at least one of her children. Still, it's her priority as a mother that has also kept her undercover - and stuck in a city she hates. Last year, she complained that she was forced to stay in LA, where Brad is based, while her twins were still underage. 6 Brad with girlfriend Inés de Ramón Credit: Rex 6 Angelina was snubbed by the Oscars for her role in Maria, as opera singer Maria Callas 'I am here because I have to be here from a divorce,' she told The Hollywood Reporter. 'But as soon as they're 18, I'll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety.' Snubbed by Oscars The subtext is that she neither feels privacy, nor peace, nor safety in her current surroundings. As for her acting career, she's tentatively dipped her toes back in - but the actress has failed to match the blockbuster success she had in the nineties and noughties. There's a reason Angelina is still single, and it's not for a lack of men lining up to date her A source We're told her performance as In 2020, he won his long-awaited He's since seen box office success with Bullet Train, while early critics who have seen summer blockbuster' - adding that Brad is back on top. Meanwhile, Angelina hasn't dated anyone publicly since splitting from Brad. Ange is not in the same place as Brad since the divorce, even though she is over him. She's focused on her children, finding peace and keeping her life private. Source close to Angelina As our source explains, she's prioritised her kids and career over romance. That doesn't mean she's not over Brad - it just means that, having been burned before, she's unwilling to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire. Another insider recently weighed in, 'There's a reason Angelina is still single, and it's not for a lack of men lining up to date her. "Fact is, she keeps them all at a distance because she's so terrified of getting hurt again the way she did with Brad.' Needless to say, this year is a pivotal one for Brangelina. It's now been 20 years since they went head to head as lovers-slash-enemies in Mr & Mrs Smith - before reality dramatically imitated art. Now, the divorce is final, the Brangelina era is over, and it's time for both to move on. Brad may be several steps ahead of his ex, but - with another movie, Couture, in the pipeline, as well as a successful clothing brand, For the moment, it seems she's biding her time and counting down the days until her twins turn 18, and she can make some big changes in life - including leaving LA. In the meantime, we're told she's happy surrounding herself with a 'very small circle of trusted friends' and keeping any dating options on the back burner.
