WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Evolution 2 Should Be A Two-Night Event
This past Monday Night on Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella made her return to WWE. During her promo, she put over the return of the All Women's Premium Live Event, Evolution. This will be the second edition of the PLE. A WWE Hall of Famer recently mentioned that he believes that the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event should be a two-night event, and for good reason. Advertisement The above-mentioned WWE Hall of Famer is none other than Booker T. During the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, he shared that since the women's rosters on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT are stacked, it makes perfect sense for the event to take place for two nights. 'It might have to be a two-night event because we got that much talent, the roster's stacked. I mean, it's got to be at least 20 matches,' Booker T said. 'I'm loving it, you know. I mean, like you said, we've been asking for this for a long time. I think the ladies deserve this.' [H/T He also mentioned that having an all-women's Premium Live Event does not mean that the guys are not as important. He sees this as an opportunity for WWE to show how strong it's women's division is. Advertisement 'I don't think it's taken away from the shine from the guys to let the ladies go out there and have that one night only,' he stated. 'I think it's only fitting for the talent that we have on that roster, just to show how big the women's division really is, from a star power perspective, as far as you know, how they could go out there and draw the house just like everybody else… It's not a contest between Raw and SmackDown, it's a contest between the men and women.' CM Punk makes John Cena's WWE title reign interesting by delivering the Truth
John Cena was pissed off after Ron Killings attacked him in the opening segment of tonight's (June 13) SmackDown, so he called R-Truth out for a fight later in the night. John was instead greeted by 'Cult of Personality' and CM Punk. After dismissing Cena's claim that he's a hypocrite (for challenging John for the belt in Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions), Punk said he was there to make another John Cena title reign interesting again, just like the good old days. He proceeded to do just that by ripping into Cena on the mic and telling the truth. The truth really hurts, because Ron Killings once again attacked Cena from behind. This time he even locked John in his own STFU submission hold. GM Nick Aldis was fed up with all of Killings' interruptions during the night and granted a him a match with Cena next week. Just like that, Punk and Killings really did find a way to make Cena's underwhelming WWE title reign interesting. Catch up on all the results from SmackDown in our live blog right here.
