Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.27% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:14AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.36 per cent) were among the top gainers.Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.94 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 1.3 per cent) were the top losers on the index.The Nifty Realty index was down 1.27 per cent at 844.7 at the time of writing this report.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 87.0 points at 24292.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 244.94 points at 80396.13.Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power and Vishal Mega Mart were among the most traded shares on the NSE.Shares of BSE, Reliance Naval & Engg, Bharti Airtel(PP), Anupam Rasayan India and Vishal Mega Mart hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Setubandhan Infra, Godha Cabcon & Insul, GI Engineering, AGS Transact Tech and Gujarat Lease hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
