In-demand Philippart de Foy looking for notable jumps success
While his future is going to be largely Flat-based as the principal trainer for Amo Racing at Sir Michael Stoute's former yard, he has shown his versatility by winning three in a row with D Day Arvalenreeva, who heads for the Unibet Same Race Multi Summer Handicap Hurdle.
'She's in very good shape, delighted with the filly. She's done very little wrong since switching to handicaps,' said De Foy.
'This race has been a target for a long time and the faster (the ground) the better for her.
'Obviously she's a course and distance winner, it's a big step up in grade, but I couldn't be happier with the way she's going into the race.'
Olly Murphy's Sir Galahad has an even better record, winning four out of four since joining from James Ferguson.
'He's been trained for the race, he needed the extra run to qualify, but he's in good form, looks progressive and he's got an unusual profile,' said Murphy.
'He's on an upward curve and is full of confidence. He's taken to hurdles really well, he's got confidence since taking a hurdle and with a bit of luck, he'll run very well.'
Fergal O'Brien's Castel Gandolfo won the race last year and got back to winning ways over course and distance last month.
'We went more or less the same route. I think he's run in it the last four years so it was always a plan to run it,' said O'Brien.
'We ran him at Bangor and Johnny (Burke, jockey) said 'he's just a totally different horse going right-handed', especially right-handed with a rail, so he said he feels much better at Market Rasen than he does anywhere else. Right-handed around Rasen does suit him.'
O'Brien also runs Oslo off bottom weight, the mount of Liam Harrison.
'Oslo is fine. I'd like him to take a step forward, he's been running very well for us on the Flat, he got brought down at Bangor last year and I'm not sure if he's got over that yet when it comes to jumping hurdles,' he said.
'We'd like to see him to finish off his races a bit better, and if he does, he could be a player as well.
'They are both good, they will try their best and fingers crossed.'

Coasting to a 4-0 victory over Premier League opposition, regardless of what stage of pre-season it comes, is an indication of a squad brimming with ability and confidence in equal measure. Last season's record-breaking £11million signing Arne Engels recognises recruitment is a normal part of football but insists he and his teammates have shown how good they are already before any further additions. Usually doing their business late in a window, the Scottish champions have already added six to date. Kieran Tierney and Hayato Inamura bolster the backline while Benjamin Nygren, Shin Yamada and Callum Osmand provide options middle to front. Ross Doohan returns to the club as a third-choice goalkeeper. With Tierney and Nygren the two likely to improve the starting XI immediately, Rodgers wants more. But Engels points out the manager already has a very strong squad at his disposal. "We have a really good squad," the Belgian midfielder insisted. "And there will be always rumours about players coming in, going. It's up to us to keep this all inside and to work on the players that are here. You see that today also, that we have a lot of quality already. 'We'll see what's going in and going out, we never know, but the squad that is now here is fantastic. Nygren, while he can also operate wide, comes in to add to a midfield already packed with experience and class - Callum McGregor, Paulo Bernardo, Reo Hatate, Luke McCowan and Engels fighting for the three spots. Therefore, even if the latter does stay put he will be far from guaranteed first team football unless he is at the very top of his game. "He's an amazing player and also really good for us and in the dressing room too. 'He's a lovely guy, so hopefully he will stay. We never know what is going on. He would be fantastic for us next year and like today also. 'He's just an amazing person that is really helping us in every kind of aspect of the game." A motivation of Engels' when quitting the Bundesliga for Scotland a year ago would have playing in the Champions League. A run to the knockout stages and then a ding-dong battle with Bayern Munich will have whetted the appetite. But so did the win over a Champions League-level side in Newcastle. "One hundred percent," he admits. "That's a big goal of ours, to reach the Champions League. In a few weeks, there is a really big game, big games coming up. 'It's up to us to now get physically really ready for that, and I'm sure we will do really great in those two games. "We just want to first get into the Champions League and then we will see how it goes there. 'But we set a really big standard for ourselves in the Champions League and that's also something that we can reach because we have a really good squad. 'It's not that easy that everybody is saying you need to reach the same thing or you need to reach further because we did really great. But it's up to us to show like today that we are a really good squad and that we can cause a lot of teams real pain."

'I thought she'd be still a maiden after this and then we could run her in another maiden. Sometimes it's easier on them when they can have two runs in maidens. 'She'll stay a mile and a quarter next year.' O'Brien and Moore added to their tally with Light As Air in the Hong Kong Thoroughbred Breeders Alliance Irish EBF Maiden, the 1-2 favourite having last been seen finishing well down the field in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot. O'Brien said: 'We thought he was a well-handicapped horse. He was unlucky at Leopardstown and was also placed at Navan, but was a bit disappointing at Ascot last time. 'Today we thought he'd win easier than that, but we think there is more to come with him. Ryan gave him a good ride. 'We might give him a little more time now. He'd a tough race there and Ryan said the second horse kept coming with him all the way, but he didn't lie down. 'He stays well and looks like he could get further.'
