GARY LINEKER revealed the blunder he made for the very first time - in his last-ever Match of the Day show.
Lineker, 64, bowed out from the programme on Sunday night at the end of the Premier League season.

He had planned to stay on presenting FA Cup matches and front the World Cup coverage next summer.
But the legendary broadcaster walked away from the BBC for good following an anti-semitism row and fall-out with Beeb bosses.
And Lineker admitted he made a glaring error as he closed his final show - and one he had never done before.
Towards the end of the show, there was an emotional montage of friends, colleagues and team-mates paying tribute to the departing host.

The likes of Alan Hansen, Paul Gascoigne, Ian Wright and Lineker's three sons all contributed then after a special message from Andrea Bocelli, Lineker had welled up and was understandably finding it difficult to keep it all together.
So much so that when he went to talk through the final Premier League table, he fluffed his lines.
Lineker could be heard scrambling around trying to find the piece of paper with the script to talk through the table - but with no joy.
And that meant he had to make it up as he went along - and did so with his brilliant charm and ease.

Choking back tears on the live TV show, Lineker said: "I don't know if I can speak. I'll try.
"For one last time, here's the Premier League table."

Then came a pause as he rustled through the papers, before continuing: "And I can't find the copy.

"So I tell you what, you can just read it for yourselves because it doesn't matter.
"Liverpool won the league as you can see, the teams that qualified for the Champions League are Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle.
"Villa and Forest will also play European football next season.
"Let's have a look at the bottom of the table - it's the first time I've ever ad-libbed this.

"Ermm, the bottom three are going down as they do tend to do at the end of the season.
"One of those teams is, of course, Leicester which is not really how I wanted to finish."
Lineker's mishap prompted sniggering laughter from pundits Alan Shearer and Micah Richards.
'I WAS STRUGGLING'
And when the trio reconvened for their The Rest Is Football podcast, the ex-Leicester striker addressed the gaffe.

Lineker explained: "When they played the montage, I was struggling, especially when I saw my boys.
"Thankfully, that wasn't the last clip because I'd gone at that point and needed time to get myself together to try and get through the end of the show.
"It's weird, isn't it? I presented it for 26 years and I always finish with the Premier League table and then a closing line.
"But for the first time ever, because of everything that was going on, I completely lost what we call the copy, the written form of what I read out over the tables.

"That's written by the subs and it needs to be accurate - you can't make any mistakes.
"For the first time in 26 years, I couldn't find it and it wasn't there, so I just bust which was a bit different."
Lineker was gifted with a couple of presents by Shearer and Richards before making a thank-you speech to end his final appearance on the show, which was closed by Bocelli performing and a series of the season's highlights.
Somewhat ironically, the final game of Lineker's long stint was his beloved Leicester losing with their relegation already confirmed - nine years after he opened Match of the Day in his underpants following their 5,000-1 title win.

Gerard Butler jokes he had to get out of his pyjamas for live-action dragon film
The film star, 55, who voiced Chief Stoick the Vast in the animated films, has reprised his role as the Viking for the new version, which follows the same narrative as the 2010 film inspired by Cressida Cowell's book series. Speaking to the PA news agency at a photocall for the film, he said: 'It felt really, really good going from the animation into the live action. 'It was cool because up until that point I was just a voice wearing my pyjamas. 'I had to get out my pyjamas and actually put on a costume … so that was fun. 'It felt great to be able to step into the (How To Train Your Dragon) world … and have a chance to get my teeth into the character and actually deal with Vikings all around me.' Butler praised the performance of Hot Fuzz actor Nick Frost who made his debut as Stoick's friend Gobber, a role that was previously voiced by Craig Ferguson. Butler told PA: 'I have to say, I came out the film the other day, I wrote him, because I hadn't seen him for a bit, I wrote him the longest text because he's so good in the movie.' He added: 'It was a great script to play with. You put on that costume, you step into that world, and it was really like, just going and playing in the sandbox. 'And I felt like there's a big version of Stoick that in the movie, a lot of time, it was pontificating in speeches, but here you can give a lot of different colours in that.' In the film, Hiccup (Mason Thames), the overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast defies centuries of tradition when he befriends a dragon called Toothless – challenging the foundations of Viking society. The film will arrive in cinemas on Monday June 9.

REVEALED: The English Premier League star Aberdeen winger Shayden Morris watches before games for inspiration
Aberdeen winger Shayden Morris has revealed he studies footage of an England international and Premier League legend in a bid to further improve his game. Morris played a pivotal role in the Dons' Scottish Cup final win against Celtic as the Reds won the trophy for the first time since 1990. The 23-year-old made an explosive impact off the bench when his cross was parried into his own net by Celtic keeper Kasper Schmeichel. In a memorable season, Scottish Cup-winning hero Morris also scooped the Aberdeen Player of the Year award – voted for by supporters. However, he is constantly striving to improve his performances and watches footage of Raheem Sterling for inspiration before matches. Sterling, 30, won four Premier League titles, an FA Cup and five League Cups with Manchester City. Currently at Chelsea, the winger – capped 82 times by England – has scored 174 career goals and spent last season on loan at Arsenal. Morris said: 'I still watch clips of Raheem Sterling from his Manchester City days to study his movement. 'Of course, at Arsenal he hasn't been the same as he was before at City, but it's him as a person I look up to. 'I want to improve so even before games sometimes I'll study Sterling online. 'He has pace, but he's also got the skill to make the most of that, so I'm trying to add stuff that he did. 'I like to think I'm slowly getting better at that so I can help the team as much as possible.' Signed from Fleetwood Town in summer 2022, Morris endured a frustrating first two seasons at Pittodrie due to injury. In his debut season, the winger suffered a hamstring tear which ruled him out for four months. There was a further injury setback in the 2023-24 season when Morris was ruled out for three months with another hamstring injury which required surgery. However, under manager Jimmy Thelin, the wing star has delivered a breakout season with five goals and 13 assists. In his constant pursuit of improvement, Morris has also sought advice from former Scotland international winger Robert Snodgrass. Former Leeds United, Aston Villa, West Ham and Norwich City star Snodgrass is now an agent. Capped 28 times, Snodgrass is with the same agency as Morris' representative. Morris hopes guidance from Snodgrass can help him develop into 'something really special'. He said: 'I've also got a good support system around me with my agent Joe Bolger, as we do a lot of analysis. 'Robert Snodgrass is also part of the agency and we do a lot of stuff together as well. 'He was a winger and quite a technical player – although he didn't have as much pace as me. 'In fact, he told me: 'I didn't have your pace, but I've got the other side of the game'. 'So if he can help me with that other side then hopefully I can merge into something really special.' Morris may have been seeking advice from Snodgrass and inspiration from Sterling on how to elevate his game to the next level. However, he has also been passing on his own knowledge to help younger players develop. Morris helped fellow Londoner Alfie Dorrington during his loan spell at Pittodrie from Tottenham Hotspur. Centre-back Dorrington started the Scottish Cup final win against Celtic at Hampden. The 20-year-old has now returned to his parent club. Prior to joining Aberdeen on loan. Dorrington signed an extended contract with Tottenham until summer 2029. Morris said: 'When Alfie first came up, I knew he hadn't played much first-team football so I really tried to help him. 'I told him how things were really different compared to London, and he settled in well. 'Alfie showed he's a really good player technically and built on that physical side. 'I think he's only going to get better and better – you can see why Spurs rate him so highly.'

Eddy Garcia, the hotel's security supervisor, testified that Diddy and his team desperately wanted to get the sole copy of the video and prevent it from getting out. In exchange for $100,000 divided among members of the hotel's security team, Garcia said, he signed a nondisclosure agreement that called for his silence and the destruction of evidence. Here's what else to know about today's testimony: Garcia testified that he was so 'nervous' about the NDA that he didn't read it all before he signed it. Diddy presented stacks of cash in a brown paper bag, added Garcia, who said he bought a used car with his $30,000 share. Garcia also said he wasn't initially truthful to police when he was asked about the assault. On cross-examination, the defense pointed out the NDA didn't stop Garcia from speaking about it in legal proceedings, a line of questioning presumably intended to undermine the government's potential claim of obstruction of justice. The uproar began before the jury was seated and Garcia took the stand. At first, both prosecutors and the defense team were discussing with Subramanian exhibits in the trial and whether to offer evidence of Diddy's jail calls. Prosecutors also complained to Subramanian that a person who had been in the courtroom Monday broadcast on YouTube the real identity of a government witness, who went by the pseudonym 'Mia' when she testified. Suddenly, a woman in the courtroom began shouting in defense of Diddy, including that 'it's not right what they're doing to him' and 'Diddy's innocent.' She was quickly removed. Prosecutors later told Subramanian that the true name and identity of 'Mia' were being reported and asked for him to ban the outlet that made them public from the court. He said he would consider such a court order. Tomorrow: Frank Piazza, a forensic video expert, and Bryana Bangolan, who alleges that Diddy dangled her over an apartment balcony, may testify.
