Man killed in Hammersmith double shooting named and pictured for the first time

A man who died following a double shooting in Hammersmith has been named as Jordan Oliver Rodney from Northolt.
Police were called to Claxton Grove at 11.19pm on Tuesday, June 11, following reports of gunfire.
Officers arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to hospital.

Tragically, 30-year-old Rodney died from his injuries the following day (June 12).
A post-mortem examination has since been carried out.
The second victim, also in his 30s, has been discharged from hospital.
Jahmel Joseph, 28, of Eaton Rise, Ealing, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and dangerous driving.
He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Saturday, July 14, and has been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, July 18.
In a statement, Mr Rodney's family said: 'It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we confirm the tragic loss of our beloved Jordan Olivier Rodney, who was taken from us far too soon.
'Jordan was a man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
'He was warm, funny, and loving.
'Always quick with a smile or a joke that could brighten the dark day.
'His kindness, generosity, and humour left a lasting impression on friends and family alike.
'Our son, brother, uncle, and friend was so much more than the circumstances of his death.
'He brought joy to our lives every single day, and his absence leaves a hole that can never be filled.
'We will remember Jordie for the love he shared so freely, the laughter he inspired, and the way he made us all feel seen and valued.
'We ask for privacy as we grieve this devastating loss and whilst we work to come to terms with what has happened.
'We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this incredibly difficult time.'

"Two occupants a man aged 50 and a teenager aged 17 were arrested and remain in police custody for questioning. "A large amount of drugs was recovered." Operation Target is a new crackdown on serious and organised crime across the West Midlands. The force continued: "From firearms and drugs to modern slavery and fraud, Op Target involves detailed investigations and proactive operations to take offenders off the streets and keep you safe. Three arrested in murder investigation after woman fatally assaulted Three men have been arrested in a murder investigation that was launched after a woman in her 20s was fatally assaulted, police said. The Metropolitan Police were called to Chadwell Heath, east London, just after 5.30am on Saturday after reports of an assault. Paramedics also attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Chadwell Heath Lane, the force said. A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and two men, aged 21 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, it added on Sunday. 'Early enquiries by detectives indicate this is an isolated incident and those involved are believed to be known to each other', the Met said. A cordon is in place and a police tent was erected in the driveway to a residential care home. The woman has not yet been formally identified but officers believe she was in her 20s. The victim's family have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers, the force added. Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs said: 'Our thoughts remain with the victim's family and friends in light of this truly tragic event. 'Although we have now made arrests, local residents will continue to see an increased number of officers in and around the area while our investigative work is carried out. 'I would ask anyone who was in the area of Romford, who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to speak to us.' A man in his 70s has been arrested after a mobility scooter driver was left in a critical condition in hospital after allegedly being punched in the head. Northumbria Police said officers received a report shortly before 3.30pm on Saturday of a serious assault at Whiteleas Way roundabout, at the junction with Nevinson Avenue, in South Shields. An altercation was said to have taken place between a man in a Nissan Micra and a man travelling on a mobility scooter. The man in the car allegedly got out and punched the victim in the head and neck, causing him to fall to the ground. Emergency crews attended and the victim - a man in his 60s - was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, where he remains in a critical condition. A man in his 70s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, police said. Read more from Sky News: The suspect has been released on bail pending further inquiries. The force has appealed to the public for information, saying it is "keen to trace any witnesses who were in the area at the time".
