Cops release CCTV photo in hunt for man after victim ‘sexually assaulted' on city bus
The victim was targeted while travelling on a bus in Oxford last month.
Both the victim and alleged attacker got on the number 35 bus opposite a Sainsbury's in St Aldates.
They were sitting next to each other at the time of the alleged assault, which occurred at around 4.50pm on July 3.
Thames Valley Police said that the offender touched the victim inappropriately over their clothing.
It was confirmed by the force that the victim was a man in his 20s.
The victim got off the bus, while their attacker stayed on until he reached his stop.
Investigating officer PC Joshua Longmate called on anyone with information to get in touch.
He said: 'We are releasing an image of a man who we believe may have vital information about this incident.
'If you recognise him, or if this is you, we would ask you to please contact Thames Valley Police via 101 or make a report online quoting reference 43250333562.
'We would also ask any passengers on this bus journey who have any witness information that may support our investigation, to please get in touch with the force.
'If you do not wish to speak to the police directly, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Authorities said Friday they have captured a man suspected in a shooting at a Montana bar that left four people dead and prompted a lockdown of a neighborhood. 'I am proud of the unrelenting law enforcement effort this week to find and arrest Michael Paul Brown,' the Montana attorney general, Austin Knudsen, said in a statement. 'The support we've seen for the community of Anaconda from across the state and the nation has also been remarkable. The families and friends of the victims remain in my prayers.' Brown's niece, Clare Boyle, told the AP her uncle has struggled with mental illness for years – and she and other family members repeatedly sought help. The victims of the killings at The Owl Bar were Daniel Edwin Ballie, 59; Nancy Lauretta Kelly, 64; David Allen Leach, 70; and Tony Wayne Palm, 74. Scam pain supernova! Major Oasis security breach as at least 200 ticketless fans are 'sneaked into Wembley gigs via disabled entrance'
Hundreds of ticketless Oasis fans were sneaked into one of the band's Wembley gigs in a major security breach. As many as 200 revellers paid £350 each to be snuck into the iconic stadium via a disabled entrance. Two tipsters claimed a large group of fans were able to all use a copy of the same ticket to get into the venue. They were then handed wristbands giving them access to the VIP area at the front of the stage as Liam and Noel Gallagher performed. The two women masterminding the scam are said to have told the tipsters they had 'ten groups of 20' waiting - meaning around 200 are likely to have been sneaked in. Explaining how the scam worked, one of the fans said they were given their tickets before a woman drew a shape on their hands. They claimed the group was then instructed to go to the disabled door at entrance M - despite the tickets saying entrance F. One of the fans told The Sun: 'We showed our stamped hands to the person on the door, they scanned the tickets, even though we all had the same one, and let us in. Another member of staff then handed us a golden circle wristband and that was it. 'There were zero security searches. We just walked straight in.' The Daily Mail understands that over five nights at Wembley, six fans were arrested for trying to get in without a ticket, while 24 ticketless revellers were kicked out. Last night Wembley said police could be called in to investigate the security breach - which they viewed as a 'serious offence'. A spokesman for Wembley Stadium said: 'Entering Wembley Stadium without a ticket is a serious offence and we are investigating these allegations. If they are substantiated, we will refer our evidence to the police.' Oasis-fever hit London as the band returned to the capital to play their first gig there in more than 16 years last month. Moment dog walker ‘pushes cyclist into canal' – but claims HE'S in the right
A DOG walker accused of shoving a female cyclist into a canal after a heated row has hit back at claims he is in the wrong. Shocking footage of the waterside dispute shows Klaudia Mitura being knocked off her bike after she was subject to an expletive-filled rant. 5 5 5 Mitura was travelling at speed alongside the Ashton Canal in Greater Manchester when she ran into a dog walking couple - including a pregnant woman. The 34-year-old machine operator, who is originally from Poland, slammed on the brakes as shouts of "slow down" rang out in the clip. Mum-of-two Mitura managed to stop before hitting the trio as she pointed out that the man was walking next to his partner and taking up the whole pathway. She also pointed out the walkers had a dog who was off lead but the man fiercely responded: "Yeah but you're on a f***ing bike." He then labelled Mitura a "f**king idiot". Ignoring the remarks, Mitura tries to ride past but is left tipping over and splashing into the canal. She claims the footage shows she was pushed in by the man. Mitura said she feared for her life and thought she might drown as she can't swim and was strapped up to the pedals. She said she struggled to escape the cold water for some time and only found safety by standing on a rock. A passer-by saw her stuck in the canal and helped to pull her out. The police were called shortly after with Mitura's phone severely damaged in the water. But the dog walker from Dukinfield has denied pushing Mitura and instead said she ran into him. He told the Manchester Evening News he was walking with his girlfriend, who is 26 weeks pregnant, when the cyclist came at them "at a ridiculous speed". "I thought she was going to hit my missus and my dog. I thought my family was in danger," he said. "She's carried on to ride towards me. Then she's clipped me with the handlebars and she's gone into the canal. I didn't push her. "After it happened, I turned around. I said to her 'are you okay?' "She told me to 'f*** off'. She was stood up. She wasn't stood on a rock. The canal was waist high." Greater Manchester Police detectives are now investigating the incident. A spokesman confirmed no arrests have been made so far but enquiries are ongoing. Mitura shared the video on TikTok 600,000 views as she revealed the trauma the ordeal has left behind. She told her followers: "I'm scared of walking or cycling down there, I took two days off from work. "It's good I had the camera because the police can find him. I haven't cycled since Tuesday, I don't know when I will do it again. "I need help with my mental health. I'm on my own with that, I'm traumatised. It's the first time anything like this has happened. " Cycling was my main means of transport. I'm physically OK but mentally it's really bad." 5 5
