Motorcyclists rev up their engines to help raise awareness for veteran suicides

In the parking lot of Frazier's Harley-Davidson in Buford, they're on the last leg of an important road trip.
Angela White and her husband, Jason, a veteran himself, are founders of the nonprofit Riding 22 in 22.
The nonprofit is a veteran suicide awareness group that's biking 22 states in 22 days. They're raising money to donate to a program that works with The Ohio State University.
'When you're out there on a back road by yourself, it's just you, the wind, and your thoughts,' said Jason White.
And those bikers' thoughts are on some of our nation's veterans who need help.
'The average number of veterans who commit suicide a day is 22,' said Angela White.

Motorcycle shops are primary stops along the way. The Whites meet new friends who help them spread the word to help those who served their country and now may need help themselves.
'I say check on a buddy. Call and say, 'Hey dude, what's up today? Been thinking about you.' Just contacting somebody can save a life sometimes,' Jason White said.
Georgia is state No. 19 for the bike-riding couple. On Wednesday, the convoy heads to South Carolina.

Auburn TE Hollis Davidson III suspended after drug arrest
Auburn suspended freshman tight end Hollis Davidson III following his felony drug arrest this summer, according to the Montgomery Advertiser. Davidson was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance on July 28 stemming from a June 19 incident in Peachtree City, Ga., per police records obtained by the newspaper. Officers found Davidson loitering near a golf cart outside a closed business and discovered loose marijuana and a THC vape pen. After testing on the pen, he was officially arrested on July 28 and released the following day on $5,000 bail. Davidson had been participating in Auburn's preseason activities before being "suspended for a violation of team rules," according to a statement from a school spokesperson. The 6-foot-5, 238-pound Davidson was a four-star recruit for coach Hugh Freeze in his 2025 class. Read the full story on The Auto Wire We've all been sitting in slow-moving traffic when some jerk on his motorcycle nearly clips your side mirror while lane splitting. Not only is that annoying, it's potentially dangerous for the motorcycle rider and you. But in this dashcam footage we have out of Arkansas, a state trooper witnesses the illegal maneuver and chases the rider down for some good ol' fashioned guy is riding on his Harley and just keeps on going after passing the clearly marked Arkansas State Police cruiser. We guess he figured since traffic was slow moving he could just keep lane splitting and get away. What he didn't know is he was dealing not just with a regular trooper but a captain. Once the guy flipped on his lights and sirens, the sea parted for him and he was able to give chase to the scofflaw on two wheels. Seeing that, the suspect twist the throttle and the police chase breaks the 100 mph barrier. As the pursuit continues, more troopers join in, but the suspect keeps going. We really do wonder what goes on in people's heads when they run from cops. We also wonder why a guy is riding with sneakers, shorts, and a T-shirt (plus a full face helmet) thinking he can do whatever speed and be okay. Obviously, this isn't the brightest criminal on the planet. Flipping a sudden U-turn, our suspect goes the wrong way on an on-ramp, somehow doesn't become road pizza, and takes the chase to city streets. With people who don't know when you hear police sirens you need to pull over, the suspect starts gapping troopers. Our suspect's genius criminal plan comes to fruition as he turns onto a side road, then off-roads his Harley, crashes, and tries running away on foot. He's able to hide for a bit, but troopers eventually find him covered in mud, without a shirt on, and with a good amount of road rash. He should've dressed for the slide! What a tosser. A North Carolina family was shocked when footage from their home security system captured what's being dubbed one of the worst Amazon delivery performances in recent memory. He then lingers briefly at the porch, scanning a smaller package in his hand before walking away —seemingly unfazed by the mess he just made. The commotion startled the family, who were home at the time and heard a loud bang outside. A mischievous employee was axed earlier this year after she was caught on home surveillance video relieving herself on two front porches while dropping off packages in Los Angeles. The gross stunt took place in the city's Woodland Hills area, with the unnamed driver caught literally with her pants down, according to KTLA-TV News. 'We're deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and apologize to the customers involved,' Amazon officials said in a statement to the outlet. 'We immediately identified the driver and they are no longer delivering on behalf of Amazon.' Matthew Perry, 29, ordered a Bluetooth device for his car and a workout bench from Amazon, which cost $15 in total. In the video, the delivery driver puts the package down and walks around the corner. But 30 seconds later, he returns to retrieve the items before running down the garden path. Perry was at work while his package was delivered and said he was shocked that someone would jeopardize their job for a $15 package.
