Indian Air Force Shares Unseen Footage Of Attack On Terror Camps During Op Sindoor
Stating that "IAF responded with precision, speed, resolve", the video showed aerial strikes by the Indian fighter jets on terror sites in Pakistan and PoK.
Showcasing the success of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Sunday shared a video showing a glimpse of an attack on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
IAF posted a video of about 6 minutes on X showcasing its power and strength in safeguarding the country. The clip shows how India avenged the April 22 Pahalgam attack, in which 26 civilians lost their lives.
Stating that 'IAF responded with precision, speed, resolve", the video showed aerial strikes by the Indian fighter jets on terror sites in Pakistan and PoK. It also featured clips and pictures that showed the 'decimated" terror camps.

The video also showed fighter jets in action during the 1971 war with Pakistan. It also mentioned the Kargil war and Indian strikes in response to the Pulwama attack in 2019.

The Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 after and struck multiple terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, killing over 100 terrorists. In response, to India's action, Pakistan then launched a massive missile and drone attack, which India intercepted. In retaliation, Indian forces struck airfields in Pakistan.
Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh last Saturday said the IAF shot down five Pakistani fighter jets and a large aircraft during Operation Sindoor.
'We have an indication of at least one AWC in that AWC hangar, and a few F-16s, which are under maintenance there. We have at least five fighters confirmed killed and one large aircraft, which could be either an aircraft or an AWC, which was taken at a distance of about 300 kilometres. This is actually the largest ever recorded surface-to-air kill that we can talk about," he said during an event in Bengaluru.

Post 'Op Sindoor' success, porter recruitment drive elicits good response in J&K
After the success of 'Operation Sindoor', the porter recruitment drive organised by the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir's (J&K) Mendhar sector has generated a wave of enthusiasm and excitement among the local youth. A large number of locals from the city and adjoining border villages including Mankot, Balnoi areas are participating in this recruitment. The idea behind recruiting porters by the Indian Army is to provide employment to unemployed youth as 'defence porters'. The youths living in Mendhar and other border areas have appreciated this initiative and are coming forward to get themselves scanned and shortlisted for this category. Asif Mahmood, speaking to IANS, said that those aspiring to become porters in the Army, including him are excited and energised for the recruitment. Mazhar Iqbal praised the porter recruitment, saying 'This is an important opportunity for the people living near the border.' He said that such recruitments, which take place two to three times a year, give unemployed youth an opportunity to earn their livelihood by joining the Army. Highlighting unemployment as the key problem of people living near the Line of Control (LoC), he said this will not only provide employment but will also help in keeping the youth away from social evils like drug addiction. He went on to entreat the Indian Army to give youth more such chances in the near future. He also praised the success of 'Operation Sindoor' and said that the whole country stands with its Army at that time. He said that the local people have expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for this initiative. A couple of other participating youths demanded an increase in the number of vacancies in future and said that such recruitments should be conducted regularly so that more and more people can get employment.

Bangladeshi infiltration crisis: Inside touts, loopholes and security threats facing India
Post Operation Sindoor, the Indian government decided to take stringent action against illegal immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. Data collected by the various state governments states that the highest number of illegal immigrants is from Bangladesh, followed by Myanmar and Pakistan. The security agencies say that the number of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh is alarming, and they have in many places changed the demographics. A dossier prepared by the security agencies explains the modus operandi of these illegal migrants. It also speaks about the routes and the loopholes they have been using over the years to avoid deportation. The main entry points into India are through Chapali, Malda, Murshidabad, 24 Paraganas, and Dineshpur. Based on this data, security has been heightened at these entry points. Adding to the problem of the security agencies is the ongoing crisis in Bangladesh. Consequently, more attempts are being made by Bangladeshis to flee and enter India. In addition to curbing illegal migration, there is also a major crackdown on the touts who facilitate such activity. The network of the touts is a massive one. They have close to 50 to 100 agents in all states where these illegal migrants are sent. While the job of the tout is to facilitate the infiltration, the agents are tasked with providing them work and also ensuring, without fail, that these persons return to the state from which they have been issued an Aadhaar Card and Voter ID. The maximum number of these identification documents is issued in West Bengal, Assam, Mizoram, and Bihar. Getting back to these states at the time of an election is mandatory, and if one of them fails to do so, their documents are taken back, after which they are sent back to their home country. The touts charge anything from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 for these documents to be made. They are hand in glove with many within the administration to ensure that there are no hiccups while preparing these documents. Before being sent to another state, depending on the demand, they are instructed to say that they are from Assam and not any other state. This has led to them being referred to as Assam Labour in every state. Further, they are instructed not to talk much and mingle much with the locals. They are told to stay together all the time. In Kerala, it has been found that these Bangladeshis who enter the state take refuge at the Bengali Colony. They prefer this place since their dialect is very similar to that of the Bengalis. This helps them blend with the population, the security agencies have learnt. There have been many drives in the past to weed out the problem. However, these persons have found a loophole to dodge the system. It has been noticed that many people are, in fact, happy when a case is registered against them. They get bail easily as the courts have not found the offence to be grave. Further, the crowding of jails is also something that courts prefer to avoid. The other loophole in the law is that once a case of this nature goes to court, these people cannot be deported until the case is decided. Such cases are lowest on the priority list of the courts, and owing to huge backlogs, these cases take years to decide. These are the loopholes that have made the deportation process extremely tricky and hard. It has also been found in many cases that those persons who are deported return to India. Once deported, they stay in their home country, following which they return and then obtain a new identity. Due to these loopholes, the government has begun pushing back undocumented Bangladeshi migrants who have been detained across the country. In 2024, 295 Bangladeshis were deported, and this year the number stands at 100 as of data available until April 2025. The other problem is that this is part of a larger conspiracy that dates back to those days after the Liberation War. The ISI had roped in the Jamaat-e-Islami to carry out large-scale infiltrations into India. The idea was to change demographics, snatch local jobs, commit crimes, and create communal tension. According to Amar Bhushan, who served in the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), a nexus between the ISI and Bangladesh's Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) was flagged by his agency in the 1990s. The idea was to use the Jamaat to carry out this massive infiltration drive to destabilise India. With the new regime in Bangladesh that is friendly with Pakistan, this problem can only worsen, he warns. If one looks at the data prepared by the NCRB, it states that the highest crimes committed by foreign nationals are by Bangladeshis. They had the highest share at 24.5 per cent, followed by Nigerians (5.5 per cent), Nepalese (3.3 per cent), and Myanmarese (2.3 per cent). Many governments are now setting up Special Task Forces to tackle this problem. The Tamil Nadu government said that it would be setting up a Special Task Force to deport Bangladeshis and Rohingyas staying without valid documentation. This is a decision part of a nationwide operation launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to identify and deport illegal immigrants. The MHA had recently written to the Chief Secretaries of all states to establish a Special Task Force under the supervision of the police to detect and deport foreign nationals staying without valid travel documents.

Shiv Sena-UBT backs RSS chief's remarks on health and education, urges support to 'overthrow' govt
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent comment said that healthcare and education are among the most important necessities for a person — yet remain beyond the reach of the common man in today's times, drew support from Shiv Sena-UBT leader Anand Dubey, who on Monday urged him to go a step further by supporting the Opposition to overthrow the current government. Speaking to IANS, Anand Dubey said: "We respect Mohan Bhagwat. We thank him for raising such a burning issue. Yes, indeed, the BJP has been in power for more than eleven years in the country with a massive majority. Even after that, if the common man is deprived of good medical care and quality education, then whose failure is it?" Continuing his attack on the government, he said: "You have raised your point very well, but then you only speak and fall silent. (BJP President) J.P. Nadda says that we no longer need the RSS. You should explain this to them — or we will request you in every way to support the opposition. Protest, sit on a dharna, and we will support you. Mohan Bhagwat, no problem will be solved by just giving speeches. You are a very big leader of a very big organisation, and the entire Hindu society respects you. We are also a Hindu party." The Sena-UBT leader further accused the BJP-led Centre of ignoring criticism. "Whenever we show the mirror to this arrogant government, they do not listen. You have said something very important — the government has failed in employment, farmers' welfare, health, medicine, and education. 'Achhe Din' never came. Yet whenever you speak, the matter goes silent, and they don't take it seriously. We urge you to stand with the Opposition now. Overthrow this arrogant government. If you cannot do it, no one else will. You have made them so big that they no longer even see you — so how will they see us, or the country?" Dubey also reacted to Army chief, General Upendra Dwivedi's account of the events following the ghastly April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which led to the mega military offensive 'Operation Sindoor' in May. The army chief had said: "What happened in Pahalgam shocked the nation. On April 23, the very next day, we all sat down. This was the first time the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, 'Enough is enough'." He clarified that the opposition is not doing politics over the incident and expressed full faith in the army chief's statement. "Our questions are not on the army, but on the failure of foreign policy. Why did (US President) Donald Trump have to announce a ceasefire? This government is arrogant and dictatorial; it does not take the Opposition along. The army and the country are paramount to us. When it comes to national interest, we will always stand united. The Opposition is equally patriotic. Whatever the army chief is saying is correct and accepted,' Dubey said. On to the Election Commission of India's (ECI) notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, seeking documents to back his allegations of voter fraud during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Shiv Sena-UBT spokesman said: "Whether the Election Commission issues one notice or a hundred, Rahul Gandhi will not be intimidated. He has faced the ED, CBI, and Income Tax; he will now face the Election Commission as well. He will continue to fight as the voice of the people because the people have chosen him as Leader of the Opposition." "Rahul Gandhi will not fear any notice — he will expose the theft.' On the INDIA Bloc leaders' march from Parliament to the ECI headquarters against the alleged irregularities in Bihar's voter rolls, Dubey reiterated the Opposition's concerns. 'The entire Opposition is saying there have been irregularities in the vote. If any MP is raising questions, it is their right to do so. The ECI was once truly independent under T. N. Seshan. But today, who knows about Gyanesh Kumar? No one,' Dubey added. He argued that protests outside Parliament should compel the Commission to act. 'I hope this opens their eyes. The ECI must answer for all irregularities and allegations of vote theft,' he added.
