
Last salute to Police sniffer Tara (Dog)
Adilabad: Tara, a Labrador retriever (Dog) of 2013 batch, served the Adilabad police dog squad for 12 years. Two years after retirement, Tara fell sick few days ago and passed away on Thursday morning.
Superintendent of police Akhil Majahan participated in the last rites organized on this occasion and paid rich tributes her. He, decorated Tara with a shawal and garlands.
SP saluted Tara for her services and gave her due respect for her services.
Speaking on the occasion SP praised police vigilance for its exceptional services in detecting explosives and conducting security checks during the visits of VIPs to the district.
He instructed the police officers to provide facilities and amenities to the police vigilances.
He suggested that cooler facilities be setup for each vigilance in view of the summer season.
Reserve inspector D. Venkat, T.Murali, and Tirumalesh and others were present.

Prayagraj: Cops have announced a Rs 25,000 cash reward for absconding gram pradhan Bhoop Narayan Pal, a resident of Lohda village, in connection with Rambabu Tiwari suicide case. Police said that Rambabu Tiwari (45) committed suicide by swallowing a poisonous substance on June 4, accusing the sitting gram pradhan and local police of sending his younger son behind bars on fake charges. Superintendent of Police (Kaushambi) Rajesh Kumar has suspended two sub-inspectors and sent the inspector (Saini) to police lines after finding their role dubious and ordered a fresh probe into the incident. A 30-year-old Nepali national residing in Hyderabad allegedly killed his live-in partner – who was also from Nepal – packed his body into a travel bag, and dumped it in an isolated area, officials said. He was arrested after the incident came to light on June 4 with the discovery of the bag containing the body of the victim – Tara Bohra – near a residential area in the city's Bachupally. The accused was identified as Vijay Toppa alias Wilson, who was employed as a chef at a nearby restaurant. The couple lived in a live-in relationship. The police said that the duo came to know each other on Facebook and then entered a relationship. Tara was already married and had two children. Despite this, she shifted to Hyderabad on April 15 and started sharing a rented accommodation in Bowrampet with Vijay. On May 23, the couple had an argument over her pregnancy, and Vijay allegedly strangled Tara in a fit of rage. Upon her death, he packed her body in a travel bag and left it in an isolated location. A local watchman found the body and informed the police. Senior Cyberabad Police officials, along with forensic teams, reached the spot and launched a detailed investigation. To nab the accused, five special teams were formed. Using CCTV footage and other technical clues, police tracked the suspect, Vijay, to the Medchal district and arrested him. Nepal man arrested in Hyderabad for killing lover, stuffing her body in travel bag
A 30-year-old Nepali national has been arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly murdering his live-in partner, also from Nepal, stuffing her body into a travel bag, and dumping it in a deserted incident came to light on June 4 when the body of 33-year-old Tara Bohra was discovered in a travel bag abandoned near a residential area in Bachupally in swiftly detained the suspect, Vijay Toppa alias Wilson, a chef at a local restaurant, who had been in a live-in relationship with the victim. Investigations revealed that Vijay and Tara had met on Facebook and developed a relationship.
