Was this the biggest bombed try of the season? Tigers win after Su'A howler
'He [Su'A] should have scored. For Jahream to pick it up and keep playing, you need to make your own luck sometimes.
'I don't want to sound like I'm negative about winning, but there are so many things we can do better.'
The Dragons did well to get back in the game in the second half, with former Tiger Jacob Liddle bagging a double within four minutes.
An Alex Seyfarth knock-on with 30 seconds remaining gifted the Dragons one last chance to try and force the game into golden point.
The Tigers' 34-28 win was their second in a row, but the Dragons – and especially Su'A – will hate sitting through the review of a game they could have easily won.
Marshall was aware his players were playing their third game in 13 days. They played nearly 90 minutes last weekend in a golden-point thriller that took its toll, physically and emotionally.
It has been seven years since the Tigers have won three in a row, and they will have their work cut out getting it done against the Storm in Melbourne.
But who really cares. The Tigers of old would have blown the lead against the Dragons. They were still guilty of trying to defend a lead. But they are heading in the right direction.
Dragons' back-rower Dylan Egan opened the scoring on the night after some lovely lead-up work by Moses Suli.
Recalled winger Charlie Staines, playing his first NRl game for the year –and the best player for the Tigers, according to Marshall – hit back for the Tigers courtesy of a lovely tip-on from Lachie Galvin.

Bula hobbled for a few minutes when his ankle was trapped in a tackle, but the No.1 was able to keep moving and remain in the game.
Api Koroisau attempted a couple of 40/20 attempts, and thought he had one on the second occasion. Clint Gutherson was ruled to have put a foot into touch, but the Dragons successfully challenged the call after they were bizarrely given the luxury of watching replays of the passage of play on the big screen shown inside the ground.

Giants women run Willetton close but ultimately fall short
Goldfields Giants women's coach Jaymi Worthington has challenged her players to become a more well-rounded group capable of better sharing the load, following Saturday's 80-69 NBL1 West loss against Willetton. The Giants pushed the fifth-placed visitors for most of the game but with the scores level at three-quarter-time, the Tigers took charge in the run home, 21-10. It was the local squad's seventh consecutive defeat after Nici Gilday (24 points; four rebounds; five assists; one blocked shot) and Erin Antosh (21 points; 13 rebounds; three assists) carried the vast majority of the workload. Alongside the team's 80 points, Willetton's starters also racked-up a combined 29 rebounds and 19 assists. With a 2-10 win-loss record, the Giants are tied with the South West Slammers, but hold 11th spot on percentage. Goldfields led by a point at quarter-time and by six points during the second period. 'Our bench players contributed quite well, but we need at least one other person to step-up and score in double-figures,' Worthington said. 'They (Willetton) had four players (score) in double-figures and we needed that (because) their defence obviously started to double-team Nici and Erin. 'It means we need other players to go to in those circumstances. 'In those last five minutes, from a coaching perspective as well, we needed to adjust quicker by making sure we had other options. 'The bottom line is that we need other players to step-up and spread the scoring more.' Goldfields remain three games outside the top-eight. 'Willetton have a very strong team and it's a skill, learning how to win,' Worthington said. 'That's all it is — having that belief that we can (beat top sides). 'But the reality was that Willetton were able to convert and close-out the game. 'I feel we're on the cusp of that, but we just need to keep pushing and getting better.' Ladder Cougars (11-0); Senators (9-2); Redbacks (9-3); Eagles (7-3); Tigers (7-4); Magic (7-6); Flames (5-5); Lightning (5-6); Hawks (4-6); Wolves (3-8); Giants (2-10); Slammers (2-10); Suns (1-9).

GSFL 2025: Clinical Railways wallop Royals as seven-goal Parker tries to steal the show on Stubber's big day
It was clearly Bodhi Stubber's day, but Hayden Parker did his best to steal the show with a seven-goal haul as Railways thumped Royals in the Great Southern Football League on Saturday. The Keep the Sheep Stadium was bathed in sunshine for Stubber's 200th league appearance as the Tigers maintained their unbeaten run, registering their seventh win on the trot 25.9 (159) to 6.4 (40). There was a brief spell at the end of the first quarter where the Lions pressed and should have scored more than the single behind they registered. And for three quarters they hassled and harried as best they could, but were no match for the Tigers as Parker ran riot and player-coach Stubber, who booted six, was a giant among men. The double act wearing the scoring boots were ably supported by Lachie Cale, Ryley Valli and Jayden Scott as the Tigers rampaged through the middle and up the wings, kicking goals at will. Jayson Ford kicked four for Royals, and celebrated each one magnificently, but elsewhere the cupboard was pretty bare and in the final stanza they were completely overrun. While Stubber enjoyed the victory, he suggested his side had not been at their best throughout. 'It was really good to get the win, but we didn't play our game style in the first half,' he said. 'We train really hard, we have a game plan and putting it in place is the aim. 'It came together more in the third quarter and it's really important that we can maintain that level.' Lions coach Darrell Panizza knew his side had come up against the best. 'They are the best team in the league and are favourites for the flag,' he said. 'We had a lot of players out, but we have a lot of work to do. 'We are still in the top four and we have to make sure it stays that way.' While the prolific Parker was a thorn in the Lions' side, Panizza felt Mitch Lenegan had done a decent job, shutting him down for long periods. 'He had moments where he scored three and then didn't do much, then scored three and was quiet again,' Panizza said. Parker nabbed the Tigers' first before Cleve Humphries replied from a set shot. However, that was as close as it got as Parker converted again and Stubber booted his first, finishing off a Tigers move which sliced the Lions right through the middle. Ford's first goal brought the Lions within eight points but by quarter time Scott's first had put the home side 13 points ahead. Parker struck again 33 seconds after the centre bounce at the start of the second quarter, Mohit Jaggi got on the scoresheet soon after and then Beau Ewen busted his way through two pairs of flailing Lions arms and slotted the Tigers' seventh major. Further goals from Parker, Valli and Bailin Curtis were interrupted by Ford's third but as the half-time hooter sounded the rampaging Tigers were 50 points ahead and looking unbeatable. The third quarter really hurt the Lions who were outscored by eight majors to two. Ford's fourth might have been the pick coming after he broke free, bounced three times and finished with a flourish but Parker's three goals extended the Tigers buffer to 87 points. The final stanza was all about Stubber whose four majors were a lesson in accurate goal-kicking in front of a big home crowd. Humphries may have had the final word with his major from the right pocket, but it was the Tigers who stayed on track for the flag and gave Stubber an afternoon to remember. Midfield trio Scott, Valli and Cale were all driving factors in the result while Stubber and Lorcan McNamara were also influential. The Lions were best served by Ford, Declan McNamara, Nathan Powell and Cameron Lazar.
