Forward Sesko believes Ruben Amorim and his Red Devils are on the up again after some troubled times recently — and could not resist the chance to be part of it.
Asked of his ambitions at United, Sesko said: 'We get better, connect, we grow step-by-step.
'We're becoming more complete and it's just a matter of time before we fly high again.'
Toon also offered RB Leipzig's asking price and the Slovenia international was given the chance to choose between the two clubs.
He was asked why he opted to link up with Amorim's men and said: 'First of all it's because of the club — it's a historical club and an unbelievable one.
'The team is great and it's getting better and better. It gives you an energy that you want to be part of. A great project and I can't wait to start.
'Of course the manager played a part too — that's important in football.
'He's a great guy, a great coach. I think it's going to be exciting.'
Sesko's football idol is former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and he has been forensically watching clips of the Swedish legend for many years.
Ibra had one memorable season at Old Trafford before suffering a serious injury in spring 2017 — but the new boy will be over the moon if he can make such an instant impact.

Sesko said: 'Since I was small I've been watching him. Every single YouTube video that I can find. Because he's just amazing for me.
'We don't have the same character but I like to see him – the way he plays, the way that he enjoys football. In general he's my idol.
'I try to take some stuff from him, there are some similarities with the high kicks and things and the powerful strikes.
'We are not the same — we have different playing styles but in any situation I'll try to do like he did.'

Man Utd star has already had ‘b*****king' reveals Tom Heaton as Amorim's new six-man leadership group get to work
ONE unnamed Manchester United star has already had a "b****cking" from Ruben Amorim's lieutenant Tom Heaton. Third choice goalkeeper Heaton has been a shock inclusion in Amorim 's new six-man squad leadership group at Old Trafford. 2 Heaton, who turns 40 next year, signed a one-year contract with United in June and continues to be a key voice in the dressing room. Heaton, Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire are the three players part of the old United leadership group who are in the new one. The latest additions to the sextet are Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and 2024 signing Noussair Mazraoui. When asked if he'd already dished out some telling-offs, Heaton told Manchester Evening News:"Yes, but only naturally. "It's not just about delivering sort of b****ckings. "I think it's also about supporting people who need it, trying to make sure we're guiding it and channelling it in the right way." When revealing his new committee during United's pre-season tour of America, Amorim said: "They are responsible for the group. "There are some things that in the last year I had to deal with. I said to them this year, you deal with that. Small issues are with you guys. "You are responsible. All these small changes, I think it's helping the group." The group is a diverse mix of three players in their thirties and three in their twenties, representing four countries across three continents. Joining under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2005, Heaton has spent 14 years with United through two different stints and rejoined his boyhood club in 2021. Watch Ruben Amorim's reaction when asked if Man Utd are signing PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma The 6ft 2in Chester-born star added: "I think he (Amorim) feels quite strongly about having a group of players that have a strong influence on the dressing room. "It provides a little bit of support to Bruno in that respect. That's how it came about and obviously honoured as ever to be part of that and try and have as much influence on it as I possibly can." An insider told SunSport that as the club's longest serving player Luke Shaw was extremely frustrated about being left out of the committee. However, only one of the leadership group is a nailed on starter to face Arsenal in their Prem opener on Sunday - skipper Fernandes. No.2 goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is set to start in goal as Andre Onana nurses himself back to full fitness from a hamstring injury picked up in training. Dalot is no longer a certain starter, with Amad Diallo the favoured option on the right wing to feed off summer signing Bryan Mbeumo. And it's a mix-up in defence with Maguire and Matthijs De Ligt battling for a place to start next to 19-year-old Leny Yoro at centre-back. BRYAN MBEUMO showed fans what they've been missing as Manchester United beat Fiorentina 5-4 on penalties in their final pre-season friendly. United were a mixed bag in their final summer warm-up game- and the only one at Old Trafford - before the start of the new season next Sunday. United unveiled their four new signings but it was Benjamin Sesko - who was announced from RB Leipzig before kick-off - that got the loudest roar from fans. And this match proved how much they needed him... Here's how SunSport's Man Utd reporter Katherine Walsh rated the players...

Wrexham owner makes Premier League comment for the first time as fan worries emerge
Wrexham owner makes Premier League comment for the first time as fan worries emerge Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney has revealed that the club's ambitions go beyond just reaching the Premier League, as he shared the concerns some fans have raised Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds' ultimate goal is to help Wrexham lift the Premier League title (Image: Leon Bennett/The Hollywood Reporter via Getty Images) Rob McElhenney has unveiled an ambitious new target for Wrexham to clinch the Premier League title. The North Wales club have experienced remarkable success under the joint ownership of the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator and fellow Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds. Following their acquisition by the duo in February 2021, Wrexham have been catapulted from the National League into the Championship after securing three consecutive promotions. The celebrity owners have made their intentions crystal clear from the outset - to guide the Red Dragons all the way to the top flight. McElhenney, who has recently applied to officially change his name to Rob Mac, has now disclosed that their aspirations extend beyond merely making up the numbers, with the ultimate prize being Premier League title glory. However, whilst the 48-year-old is keen to achieve that milestone at the earliest opportunity, he emphasised during an interview with S4C that progress must be built on solid foundations. When questioned about whether Premier League status remained within reach, McElhenney said: "That's the way the pyramid is set up and why not us? Why should that be reserved for other towns, for other cities? "It doesn't mean it's going to be easy and it doesn't mean that it's just going to happen quickly. It could take many, many years for it to happen. We're going to make a push to do it as quickly as possible, because we don't know any other way to do it, but we're going to do it the right way." Article continues below Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney wants to achieve success in step with the community's wishes (Image: S4C) Whilst many supporters might relish the possibility of challenging for the top flight, McElhenney revealed how some Wrexham fans had voiced reservations to him. He explained this stemmed from the potential consequences for their club, which has never competed in the Premier League, alongside insufficient supporting infrastructure. Wrexham's home stadium, the Racecourse Ground, is currently operating at a diminished capacity of approximately 10,000 this season as construction work on a new stand takes place. Additionally, the club remains without a permanent training base following the previous loss of ownership of their former facility at Colliers Park near Wrexham. "We're going to do it [reach the Premier League] in the same way that we've been doing it from day one, which is asking the town," McElhenney said. "I sort of jumped the gun early on and just assumed that that's what the people of the town wanted for their club, and that that wasn't necessarily the case. "I had a lot of very long conversations with people that said, 'Well, we might not be ready for that. The town might not be ready for that and the club might not be ready for that.' Article continues below "We have to make sure that we're always checking in with the community to make sure that this is what they want. It was a crazy pipe dream four or five years ago where we got laughed at by the media and by the world, but I don't think anybody's laughing anymore." He added: "We don't want to build something that's unsustainable. As glorious as it might be to be promoted to the Premier League, it would be equally as tragic to be relegated again, because that can very quickly create that spiral downwards. "Is the ultimate goal the Premier League? Yes, of course. Is it winning the Premier League? Yes, of course. But that actually isn't the number one goal. The number one goal is building something for the next generation and leaving something behind that is sustainable for the rest of its existence."

Liverpool in talks with Crystal Palace over move for Marc Guehi
Liverpool are in talks to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and are pursuing a deal for Parma teenager Giovanni Leoni, the PA news agency understands. Arne Slot's Reds have been busy since winning last season's Premier League, with Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez among the summer arrivals. Liverpool have also seen a £110million bid rejected in recent weeks for unsettled Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, but defensive reinforcements appear to be the current priority. PA understands the Anfield outfit are in discussions with Palace over a deal for England international Guehi. The 25-year-old captained the Eagles to victory against Liverpool in Sunday's Community Shield at Wembley and is out of contract next summer. Guehi starred in England's run to the Euro 2024 final and will want regular game time ahead of next summer's World Cup. Liverpool are hopeful that the former Chelsea defender wants to join them but sources have denied reports that personal terms have been agreed. PA understands Liverpool are also interested in 18-year-old defender Leoni from Parma and are in talks with the Serie A side. The Italy Under-19 international spent time with Padova and Sampdoria before moving to Emilia-Romagna last year.
