El Paso County Coroner's Office releases rendering of unidentified man after skull found in Rampart Range
According to the Coroner's Office, the skull was found on Oct. 8, 2020, near Forrest Service Road 300 and 315, northeast of Woodland Park. It was determined that the skull is from an adult man with a slight build, though his exact age isn't known. The Coroner's Office stated that it is estimated that the man had been dead for about five years before the skull was discovered.
The Coroner's office also released a detail image of the teeth of the skull, stating that examination revealed that the man had a 'right peg lateral tooth.'
Namus.gov, a national missing and unidentified persons system, said that the skull was discovered by a bow hunter in a wooded valley with game trails and a small stream.

Colorado 6-year-old hospitalized, struck by vehicle in a crosswalk
A 6-year-old in Colorado Springs was hospitalized after they were struck in a crosswalk on Friday morning. The Colorado Springs Police Department told CBS KKTV 11 that a group of children was crossing the street in a crosswalk around 8:05 a.m. when a vehicle on Rockrimmon Boulevard turned onto Red Hill Circle, turning into the group. The vehicle struck one child, who was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Authorities have not yet released the child's condition. Police reported that the driver remained at the scene, and the crash is under investigation.

Vicitim who died in hospital after motorcycle crash identified
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported on Tuesday, Aug. 12, that a motorcyclist who died in the hospital following a crash on South Academy Boulevard and Pace Drive, near Fountain Boulevard, was identified by the El Paso County Coroner as 26-year-old Matthew Campbell. Crash leaves one person with life-threatening injuries According to CSPD, on Tuesday, July 29, around 8 a.m., officers responded to a traffic crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle at Academy and Pace, where they found that the motorcyclist had life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. CSPD reported that the investigation revealed that the motorcycle had been speeding southbound on Academy when a vehicle driving north on Academy turned left onto Pace Drive in front of the motorcyclist. On Thursday, July 31, CSPD learned that the motorcycle rider had died of his injuries at the hospital. The coroner's office conducted an autopsy and identified him as Campbell. CSPD: Two dead in Colorado Springs home
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Just after 2 p.m., Aug. 10, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) received a call about a shooting at 4100 Sod House Trail, near the intersection of North Carefree Circle and Powers Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased man and woman, with at least one gunshot wound. CSPD's Homicide Unit assumed the investigation. While CSPD reports that all involved parties appear to be accounted for, the investigation is ongoing.
