MULTI-PLATINUM ARTIST DYLAN SCOTT ENTERS EASY DOES IT PHASE OF LIFE WITH THIRD STUDIO ALBUM, OUT NOW

Nashville, Tenn., May 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Multi-Platinum recording artist Dylan Scott enters a new creative chapter with total confidence as his third studio album Easy Does It releases today. The 11-track collection spans themes of heartbreak, committed love and nods to the small town that raised him. The Tennessean praised the album, stating, 'Whether backed by a band or accompanied by musicians playing as soft as a whisper, Scott's gruff baritone, one of his most prominent artistic selling points, takes center stage.'
'I feel like I'm in the best stage of life so far, and this album reflects that for me,' Scott describes. 'I don't know if that's because of my kids or being married as long as I have, or if it's just getting into my 30s, but I don't stress. I don't worry like I used to – we just go to work. As crazy as it sounds, I'm in that Easy Does It phase of life.'
Easy Does It opens with Scott's current Country radio single, 'What He'll Never Have,' which is already shaping up to be the biggest song of his career with over 300M global streams so far. Written by Scott alongside his brother Logan, tour manager and guitar player Robbie Gatlin and songwriter Ricky Rowton, the 'infectious, cleverly composed track' (Holler) continues to rise on the Country Airplay charts. The album also features Scott's most recent No. 1, 'This Town's Been Too Good To Us,' lively 'I Owe You One,' which Scott performed on NBC's TODAY and energetic anthems like 'Country Till I Die' and 'I Hate Whiskey,' the latter of which MusicRow described as 'a clever twist on a honky-tonk trope, delivered by a solid country hit maker.'
'There's confidence that comes with success, no doubt about it, and I'm grateful for this Easy Does It stage,' he says. 'I'm not the 20-year-old kid anymore, I'm 34 with kids and a wife, and I hope fans can see where I'm at in life. I hope they listen and go, 'Hey, that's different from the last album,' and I hope people take something from it to help 'em personally. But really, I just hope they see that I'm having fun and am not too worried about things. Just enjoying life.'
No stranger to love songs, the Louisiana native continues to deliver serenade-worthy tracks on Easy Does It. The picturesque 'Back Forty,' written by Adam Craig, Kyle Clark and Patrick Murphy, can be taken as a note right out of Scott's Easy Does It handbook. A serene tribute to simple life, he stated he can't sing the reflective ballad without thinking of the farmhouse outside Nashville where his kids are growing up, featuring a real-life acreage just off its back porch. The swaying acoustic snap track 'Twice,' written by Charlie Handsome, Jaxson Free, John Byron and Taylor Phillips, captures the same romantic spirit as his first career No. 1 'My Girl,' just further down the road of life.
'I've been with my wife since I was 15 years old – she's the rock, she's the glue that holds this whole thing together,' Scott explains. 'I didn't write 'Twice,' but I knew I had to have it the first time I heard it, because it just reminds me of my wife and our relationship. If I could, I wish I could live it twice.'
Scott's 2025 has already seen several high notes, including snagging two No. 1s so far this year with 'This Town's Been Too Good To Us' and 'Boys Back Home' with Dylan Marlowe, adding to his six career No. 1 singles overall. He continues to dominate on the road, recently wrapping his headlining Country Till I Die Tour. The tour saw 10 sold-out stops as well as Scott's headlining arena debut with two arena shows. The dates became his highest-grossing and highest-selling tour dates yet, shattering his previous attendance records.
The road warrior will head back on the road this fall on his headlining Easy Does It Tour, set to hit 15 cities throughout September and October. Special guests George Birge, Josh Ross and Zach John King will join him on select dates. Next week, fans can catch Scott at CMA Fest in Nashville, where he will perform at Spotify House on June 6 and Nissan Stadium on June 8.

Louisiana attorney general sues Roblox

The attorney general of Louisiana has filed a lawsuit against Roblox, accusing the platform of failing to implement basic safety controls and making the site the 'perfect place for pedophiles.' The lawsuit, filed on Thursday by Attorney General Liz Murrill, alleges that Roblox 'has and continues to facilitate the distribution of child sexual abuse material and the sexual exploitation of Louisiana's children.' It also accuses the platform of purposely not rolling out basic safety controls to protect children from predators and failing to notify parents of risks. Roblox, which launched in 2006, has 82 million daily active users. The lawsuit notes that 20% of these users are under the age of 8, whereas another 20% are between the ages of 9 and 12. 'Due to Roblox's lack of safety protocols, it endangers the safety of the children of Louisiana,' Murrill said in a statement. 'Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety. Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger poised to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.' According to the lawsuit, adults can pose as children on Roblox, and children can bypass age requirements to access experiences meant for older users. The lawsuit points to several sexually explicit experiences that were on the platform, including 'Escape to Epstein Island,' 'Diddy Party,' and 'Public Bathroom Simulator Vibe.' A spokesperson for Roblox said that while the company can't comment on pending litigation, the platform dedicates 'substantial resources, including advanced technology and 24/7 human moderation, to help detect and prevent inappropriate content and behavior, including attempts to direct users off platform, where safety standards and moderation may be less stringent than ours.' San Francisco | REGISTER NOW 'While no system is perfect, Roblox has implemented rigorous technology and enforcement safeguards, including restrictions on sharing personal information, links, and user-to-user image sharing,' the spokesperson said. 'The safety of our community is a top priority.' Last year, Roblox launched a number of safety measures to protect children on its platform, including barring users under the age of 13 from sending direct messages. The measures were implemented following reports that Roblox was exposing young users to dangerous risks, such as grooming and explicit content. Murrill's lawsuit states that Roblox's recent safety measures were implemented too late and are inadequate. The lawsuit seeks permanent injunctive relief, prohibiting the company from claiming that it has adequate safety features and from engaging in any activity that would violate the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Rumor Teases a Major Role For Hulk and He Will Get "Angry" Again — GeekTyrant

Spider-Man: Brand New Day just got a whole lot more intense with a new rumor suggesting that Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner is not only coming back, but possibly in his most rage-filled form yet… the return of 'Savage' Hulk. We've known for awhile now that Spider-Man: Brand New Day could throw The Hulk into the chaos, and now it's being reported that Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film, not just a quick cameo. Banner's presence is expected to be pivotal to the plot. According to insiders, "Banner's appearance will be much larger than a cameo, and Ruffalo will have a substantial role in the film." Fans have been busy theorizing about how Hulk fits into the story. With Jon Bernthal already confirmed to return as Frank Castle/The Punisher, speculation is running wild that we might finally see the Smart Hulk persona step aside. Instead, we could get a brutal reawakening of the raging, destructive version of Hulk we haven't seen in years. Scooper MTTSH added more fuel to the fire, saying that we will 'finally get Angry Hulk back' in the movie. That doesn't necessarily mean we're getting a mindless, smashing machine, but it does strongly hint at the return of the more dangerous, less-controlled side of the character. Whether this is a temporary transformation or something that builds toward the rumored World War Hulk project is anyone's guess, but either way it sounds like things are going to get explosive with the character. While Spider-Man: Brand New Day centers on Tom Holland's Peter Parker, the addition of Hulk, and possibly a showdown between the two, is more than enough to get fans hyped. Throw in Michael Mando as Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion , Liza Colón-Zayas and Sadie Sink, in a mystery roles, and returning characters MJ and Ned played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, and the film is shaping up to be packed with interesting characters. There's also ongoing speculation about new characters from the Brand New Day comic arc, like Carlie Cooper or Lily Hollister (aka Menace), possibly making their debut. Production has officially kicked off. Holland recently shared some behind-the-scenes excitement: "It's day one — my fourth-ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it's funny. Putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. 'It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one, so it's really exciting to share this with them. We've got some familiar faces on set. You know, I'm just going to do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure." Marvel Studios will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters on July 31, 2026.

Benson Boone Doubles His Total Top 10 Count

Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' is one of the most successful songs in the history of Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Despite the pop-rock smash's longevity and continued popularity, the format has been slow to show love to the pop singer's 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else,' one of his 2025 singles Months after the cut arrived on the ranking, it finally reaches an important new high point and earns Boone another career milestone. 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Reaches the Top 10 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' breaks into the top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart for the first time as it ascends from No. 11 to No. 10. As it lifts, the Grammy-nominated singer scores just his second appearance inside the highest tier on the radio tally. 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' Joins 'Beautiful Things' Boone's first top 10 on the Adult Contemporary list was 'Beautiful Things,' which helped introduce him to audiences all around the world well over a year ago. That single hit No. 1 in March of this year and so far has spent 75 weeks somewhere on the tally. At the moment, it's still present on the ranking – amazingly, in second place. 'Slow It Down,' 'Mystical Magical' and 'Ghost Town' Throughout his career, Boone has racked up five placements on the Adult Contemporary chart. 'Slow It Down,' 'Mystical Magical,' and 'Ghost Town' peaked at Nos. 18, 25, and 28, respectively, with the latter two only managing one stay on the tally apiece. 'Mystical Magical' debuted on the Adult Contemporary radio roster earlier this month, but it quickly fell away, and it's unclear if it will be able to return. Benson Boone's Top 10 Hit on All of Billboard's Pop Charts Now that it has reached No. 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart, 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' has become a top 10 smash on all three of Billboard's pop radio rosters. This frame, the tune — which is featured on his latest full-length American Heart — holds at No. 2 on the Pop Airplay list and No. 4 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking. 'Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else' has spent 23 weeks on all three rosters, but the Adult Contemporary chart is known to move at a much slower pace than the other two lists.
