Despite Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) opposition to the idea, Nick (Jack Wagner) was full steam ahead with the idea of going to Italy with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Eric (John McCook) warned his son that Brooke could slip away from him, once and for all, unless he acts. Eric is firmly in the Team Brooke camp, much to Ridge's frustration. Eric is hoping that the trip will remind his son that his destiny lies with Brooke.
Though Ridge continued to insist that he's happily engaged to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), the idea of Brooke running off with Nick certainly gets under his skin. He might not be willing to admit it, but it seems like he's having some second thoughts about leaving Brooke behind.
Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week:
In the clip, Eric offers a heartfelt "Salut!" with Ridge and Brooke. They're in Capri, the weather is beautiful and the fashions are amazing. Brooke looks radiant, which is all the more reason for Ridge to be wary.
Brooke and Ridge arrive on a boat and are welcomed by Eric, who standing above the dock with a smile on his face. (Eric is a big fan of Brooke and boats, obviously)
Nick, in the meantime, looks like he missed the Capri memo. He's not on the island and he's desperate to get access to a boat so he can get there. Did Eric switch the itinerary around so that Nick would be in the wrong place? It certainly looks like it.
Brooke takes another spin on the runway and can be seen waving to the adoring crowd while Nick, who suddenly looks pleased with himself, says it's "time for the fun to begin."
Clearly, there's some big action coming up in Italy this week as Eric continues to clear a path for Ridge to get back with Brooke while Nick ramps up his pursuit of her. The big question is who will manage to win her affection, and at what cost.

Which is why I was immediately drawn to this game about a seal trying to gain access to a dogs-only disco. What would a seal do under these circumstances? Mope off into the streets? Look for a seals-only disco? According to the logic advanced by Discopup, the seal would roam the world in search of the perfect disguise, all the better to gain access to the disco, whether those dastardly dogs want you in there or not. Mage Arena Steam page Release: July 25Developers: jrsjamsHere's an unimpressive-looking game about sorcerers and warlocks doing battle. Don't let your eyes deceive you, though: a lot of people are playing it, and many are saying it's great. It's a first-person PvP affair, but the twist is that you need to use your voice to cast the spells. As you can imagine, this becomes chaotic very fast. As one Steam reviewer describes it: "Lots of people screaming fireball at each other in increasing desperation". Sign me up. s.p.l.i.t Steam pageRelease: July 25Developer: Mike Klubnika From the creator of the brilliantly disturbing Buckshot Roulette comes a terminal hacking game about gaining "root access into an unethical superstructure". While you'll spend a lot of time typing commands into a DOS-like OS, s.p.l.i.t. also has you leaving your desk and navigating a grimy looking workshop that could very well be situated in Silent Hill. This is a short and sweet narrative driven affair from a solo dev who knows how to make richly atmospheric horror. and Roger Steam page Release: July 24Developer: TearyHand Studio and Roger is a short visual novel with a bizarre, vaguely discomforting premise. One morning a young girl wakes up and finds that her father has been replaced by a complete stranger. She promptly leaves the house. I've got no idea what happens next, but if the storytelling in the game is anywhere near as good as it is in the Steam description (seriously, go have a look), this one will definitely be worth the hour it takes to complete.

Jessie J hospitalised for infection six weeks after surgery
Jessie J has been hospitalised for a serious infection. In June, the Price Tag hitmaker announced she had undergone surgery to treat early-stage breast cancer. Taking to Instagram Stories over the weekend, Jessie shared she was back in hospital being treated for an infection and a "little fluid" on her lungs. "How I spent the last 24 hours," she wrote alongside a photo of an IV in her arm. "6 weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery (sic). Not expected or planned. I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung. IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT THANK GOD." And even though Jessie was finding it hard to "breathe in", she decided to discharge herself on Saturday night as she "hates being in hospital". Doctors will continue to care for the singer-songwriter as an outpatient. "A reminder to myself to slow tf (the f**k) down even though I feel like I'm a (tortoise) pace right now. This isn't a speedy recovery. And it isn't meant to be," the 37-year-old continued. "I love moving and working and being up and active but I can't right now, and that's what it is." Jessie, who shares a two-year-old son with partner Chanan Colman, also joked that she has been diagnosed as "dramatic". "I finally got a diagnosis of what's been going on, apparently it's called... Dramatic? I think that's the spelling. My symptoms are the same and no idea what's wrong yet. But my sarcasm and sense of humour are holding on," she teased.
