Giveback night to assist families impacted by mine collapse
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – On March 30, the Chandler Lions Club is holding a giveback night at the 'Evansville Thunderbolts Sunday Funday.'
A portion of the ticket sales will go to the 'Chandler Mine Collapse Relief Fund' to help families whose homes were damaged or families that are displaced due to a mine collapse. Earlier this month, at least 10 homes were damaged when a mine collapsed underground. Officials with the city of Chandler say the tickets people buy must be for 'Goal Seating' as those spots are the ones the Chandler Lions Club is offering for this giveback event.

The March 30 event starts at 3 o'clock at the Ford Center. Tickets are $16 each and $5 will go toward the relief fund.
