TOWIE's James Lock unrecognisable after dramatic transformation with Ibiza Final Boss

Daily Mirror2 days ago
Former The Only Way Is Essex star James Lock debuted a very different look as he partied with the Ibiza Final Boss on the party island, leaving his pals in fits of laughter
One former The Only Way Is Essex star has opted for an Ibiza Final Boss makeover. James Lock, who quit the show in 2023, looked extremely different as he soaked up the sun on the Spanish island.

James, 38, was kicking off his summer on the island as he met up with the Ibiza Final Boss, Jack Kay, while at the Wi-ki-Woo Hotel. But the reality star, who often found himself at the centre of arguments during his time on the programme which also documented his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Danielle Armstrong, opted for a very different look.

In recent weeks, Kay, known as the Ibiza Final Boss, has taken social media by storm after he was seen in the back of a picture which went viral on social media. The Geordie lad, 26, was quickly identified after a brand called out for people to name him on social media in exchange for guest list tickets to events from Zero Six West. It comes after the now infamous Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay's girlfriend speaks out after his incredible haircut goes viral.

But as James plugged his drink brand, Cerrar, he couldn't miss an opportunity to have a photo with the viral meme king. Jack, known for his blunt bowl-cut hairstyle, sparkling sunglasses, rather eye-catching gold chain, black vest top, and blinding white smile, was happy to oblige.
Posing alongside one another, James decided to brush his brunette hair to the front of his head to impersonate Jack's hairstyle while also wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses. "Essex final boss vx Ibiza final boss," he said alongside his post.
The upload, which has been liked over 5,000 times, was flooded with comments from friends and fans who had been left in fits of laughter. Georgia Kousoulou commented a string of crying with laughter emojis. While Kirk Norcross commented: "Mate... rarely, I laugh. This is a golden."
Another person penned: "His hairs better than yours." While another added: "Looks like a great time was had by all." The phrase Final Boss is taken from the gaming industry, suggesting that someone is the ultimate version of a stereotype.

Since going viral, Jack has taken the world by storm, having already met with infamous adult content creator Bonnie Blue and signed a lucrative management deal. He's been signed by Neon Management, the same team that turned Joey Essex into a huge star after his stint on TOWIE.
But it also appears that there could be some serious work coming from the Ibiza Final Boss. He's planning to release his own music, including a dance track on the streaming service Spotify. Reports claim that his team have been flooded with offers for TV shows, including Big Brother.
A source told The Sun: "Bosses had talks with his management, it is very late in the casting process for housemates but everyone thought worth a chat whether it be in time for this series, even as part of a task, or for the future. Jack's reps Neon Management have been inundated with offers for him so he's certainly going to be busy for at least the next few months.
"They've seen an unprecedented level of interest in him, and that the nation loves him."

Derry Girls' star marries Scots DJ in three-day celebration in Ireland

Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson and her DJ fiance celebrated their Celtic heritage as they married in a three-day celebration in Ireland. The 31-year-old, who plays schoolgirl Erin Quinn in the hit comedy, wore a cream dress with puff sleeves as she wed Hector Barbour, known as Denis Sulta, just outside of Kenmare in Co Kerry, according to British Vogue. Derry Girls co-star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell wore a long green Rat & Boa dress and attended as one of the bridesmaids while Jackson was walked down the aisle by her father to a cover of the TV show's theme song Dreams by The Cranberries. Speaking to Vogue, Jackson said of the celebrations: 'Everybody said that the whole weekend was like something from a movie, and it really was. 'I want to do it again.' Jackson's dress transformed for the evening, which included shortening the skirt and reversing the corset to reveal a tartan side. View this post on Instagram A post shared by British Vogue (@britishvogue) There were nods to the bride's mother and mother-in-law's wedding dresses featured in the design of Jackson's custom Annie's Ibiza dress, she told the publication. Barbour proposed with a custom ring during a trip to a beach in Donegal while the pair were wearing Dryrobes and Crocs, their pair told Vogue. Jackson said Barbour had written down everything he said during the proposal which she enjoyed being able to read back. The couple originally thought they would get married abroad in order to have an outdoor celebration but settled on Ireland in order to pay tribute to their shared Celtic heritage, they told Vogue. Barbour, who is Scottish, wore a kilt and feathered hat for the ceremony, along with his groomsmen. In a post on Instagram with photos from the celebrations, Jackson wrote 'to infinity and beyond' and included a video of the pair embracing, with her husband lifting her up on the dancefloor. In another post featuring videos from the day, she wrote 'to all our loved ones, you are everything'. One of the clips shows Jackson posing in her wedding dress joking 'she's a shy bride, a very shy bride' and later asking 'When's the kissing?' Jackson can be seen sipping a pint of Guinness in a photo while a video features the bride dancing with O'Donnell, who played fellow schoolgirl Michelle Mallon in Derry Girls. The Bafta award-winning series, created and written by Lisa McGee on Channel 4, follows a group of teenagers growing up in Northern Ireland in the 1990s before the Good Friday Agreement. Ibiza final boss questions 'What just happened' after Bonnie Blue bombshell meet up

Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay has shared a cryptic post with fans just days after his surprise meet up with controversial adult star Bonnie Blue. Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay has reflected on his rollercoaster ride to fame, just days after his first awkward meeting with controversial adult star Bonnie Blue. The 26-year-old, who became an internet sensation overnight for his Lego style haircut, appeared bewildered as he took to Instagram today to ask his fans: "What just happened?" ‌ The Geordie star has now signed up for management, released his own dance track, partied with celebs and flown to Ibiza in a private jet with his pals in the space of just a few days. It's hard to believe that just a couple of weeks ago, he was just an ordinary young guy looking forward to a holiday on the Spanish party island with his friends, the Mirror reports. ‌ For anyone who has been living under a rock, Jack skyrocketed to fame earlier this month after images of him partying the night away in Ibiza went viral. He's been lapping up his new found fame and using every opportunity he can to make it last. ‌ Sharing a random snap of a perfectly trimmed tree in a hilarious nod to his incredible bowl cut, Jack mused on Instagram: "Two weeks ago, I went on a lads' holiday and someone took a video of me on the Dance Floor. Was it a dream? What just happened?" It comes just days after Jack met up with controversial adult star Bonnie Blue on the party island, in what appeared to be a very awkward interaction. The cringeworthy clip shows Jack with his arm around Bonnie while he is facing his head away from her. They can also be seen making awkward conversation while standing fairly far apart. In a since-deleted video, Bonnie revealed: "It was my shortest video yet. I was shocked how nervous he was." ‌ Jack's newfound fanbase had previously issued caution over meeting with Bonnie after she left a seemingly suggestive comment on one of his Instagram posts. Jack uploaded a post of him bopping along in a car with his mates as he captioned it: "The final boss can't be slayed… your misses on the other hand? Her levels been completed." ‌ Former OnlyFans star Bonnie, who is known for using ragebait as a marketing strategy, seized the opportunity and commented a suggestive eyes emoji beneath the video. Bonnie has become famous for taking part in extreme sex stuns, which have previously included sleeping with 1,057 men in the space of just 12 hours. However, in recent months, she has found herself permanently banned from OnlyFans after she announced her plans to hold a human "petting zoo challenge". ‌ This stunt would have seen Bonnie locked in a glass cage, inviting strangers to come and do "whatever they wanted" to her. In Channel 4's show '1,000 Men And Me: The Bonnie Blue Story' - which led to hundreds of Ofcom complaints - Bonnie bragged: "I am going to be completely helpless, tied down, gagged, choked". OnlyFans had concerns about this stunt, which it claims was in violation of its Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service, and so issued the permanent ban.
