Elon Musk-Errol Musk relationship
In a podcast appearance earlier this year, Errol Musk openly criticised his son, Elon Musk.
When asked whether he believed Elon was a good father, Errol replied no, claiming he relied too heavily on nannies.
He also said Elon did not spend enough time with his children.

Elon, on the other hand, has spoken about having an unhappy childhood and said he did not grow up with financial privilege.
However, Errol disputed this, saying Elon went to school in a Rolls-Royce and the children were raised in comfort.
Errol Musk's scandalous past
Elon is the son of Errol Musk and Maye Musk, and they had two other children together.
Their marriage ended in 1979 after Errol cheated on Maye, a supermodel. The couple had been together for nine years.

Maye said Errol was both emotionally and physically abusive during their marriage.

Years later, Errol entered a relationship with Jana Bezuidenhout, his former stepdaughter and Heide's daughter, and the two had two children together.
Speaking to The Sunday Times in 2018, Errol said of the relationship, 'One thing led to another — you can call it God's plan or nature's plan.'
Elon, who has since reconnected with his father, once told Rolling Stone that Errol was 'a terrible human being' with 'a carefully thought-out plan of evil.'
Recently, Errol claimed that China is attempting to recruit his seven-year-old son, Elliot Rush, also known as 'Rush,' to compete in a gaming tournament.
'They say he will be the biggest thing in China. They say he's a prolific gamer and he's a champion," Errol told Daily Mail.

Despite ongoing tensions between China and the US, Errol did not express concern about his son potentially being involved in the alleged recruitment.

SpaceX Will Decommission Dragon Spacecraft: Musk Amid Feud With Trump

Elon Musk's rocket company SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately, the billionaire said on Thursday in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's statement that the government should cancel Musk's federal contracts. In light of the President's statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) June 5, 2025 NASA relies on SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft to ferry astronauts to and from the International Space Station under a contract worth roughly $4.9 billion. The capsule is the only U.S. spacecraft capable of flying humans in orbit. Musk's statement marks a dramatic escalation in an intensifying fight with Trump that burst into public view this week, when Musk opposed the Trump administration's linchpin spending bill. Taking Dragon out of service would disrupt the ISS program, which involves dozens of countries under an international agreement signed over two decades ago. Russia's Soyuz system is the only other crewed spacecraft that sends astronauts to the ISS.

Russia buys Trump claim he brokered India-Pak truce

NEW DELHI: Russia appeared to be buying into US President Donald Trump's claim that he mediated the "ceasefire" in the India-Pakistan military conflict that followed India's Operation Sindoor strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan. A ccording to President Vladimir Putin's aide Yury Ushakov, the issue figured in the "highly productive and positive" talks that Putin had with Trump on Wednesday. In his account of the conversation, Ushakov said other than Ukraine, a number of other international issues were raised "as well as the armed conflict between India and Pakistan, which has been halted with the personal involvement of President Trump". Putin strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack and also backed India's efforts to bring perpetrators to justice. However, Ushakov's remark about Trump's role is unlikely to go down well with Indian authorities who have repeatedly denied that the US or any other country brought the conflict to an end. India also rejected Trump's offer of mediation on the Kashmir issue, saying it will always engage bilaterally with Pakistan. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo External affairs minister S Jaishankar had said earlier that while American leaders were in touch with India and Pakistan, the pause in fighting was directly negotiated by the Indian and Pakistani armies, after Pakistan reached out to India for a dialogue. US secretary of commerce Howard Lutnick had later said on oath in a US court that Trump had used trade to avert a full-scale war between the "nuclear armed" countries. Putin is likely to visit India later this year for the annual India-Russia summit. Before that, as reported by TOI on May 26, foreign minister Sergey Lavrov will travel to India later this month to finalise agenda for the summit.

Inside the Trump-Musk meltdown: In one week 'one big beautiful bill' turns into 'one big ugly spat'

The alliance between US President Donald Trump and billionaire-tech bro and former-democrat Elon Musk has imploded in spectacular fashion, ending in a public war of words that unfolded live on social media and in the Oval Office. From close allies to bitter rivals The partnership began with remarkable warmth. Shortly after Trump survived an assassination attempt in July last year, Musk threw his weight behind the then-candidate, pledging more than $250 million in support. The South African-born billionaire quickly became a close adviser and occasional public companion to Trump — seen at rallies, aboard Air Force One, and even spending nights in the White House's Lincoln Bedroom. Trump often praised Musk, recalling fondly his presence in the Oval Office and joking about the tech mogul 'missing' Washington once he left. Musk was appointed head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where his team claimed to have cut billions in spending and slashed government jobs. But cracks soon appeared. Musk's impatience with the slow-moving political machine grew, as did tensions with other Cabinet members. A subdued Musk left the administration, sporting a black eye that some saw as a metaphor for his bruising time in government. Musk's departure from DOGE In the week leading up to their public falling out, Elon Musk left his position as head of DOGE, the advisory body created by executive order to slash government spending and cut jobs. Although DOGE was never an official government department—established only by presidential decree rather than Congress—it was tasked with boosting efficiency through IT upgrades and eliminating wasteful expenditure. Musk's departure was confirmed weeks after mounting rumours and came shortly after he criticised a sweeping budget bill currently under congressional review. Speaking to CBS News, Musk said: 'I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don't know if it can be both.' At a valedictory press conference at the White House, Trump and Musk exchanged praise, with the president presenting Musk with a large golden key in a wooden box. Yet Trump insisted Musk was 'not really leaving' and would remain 'back and forth' to the White House. 'Big beautiful bill' sparks the break-up The final rupture came when Musk publicly attacked Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill,' a major tax and spending package poised to increase the federal deficit by hundreds of billions. Musk called the bill a 'disgusting abomination,' lambasting its pork-barrel spending and warning it would add trillions to the national debt. The X-plosion: Social media clash and political fallout The break-up reached a fever pitch when Musk publicly slammed Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill,' a major tax and spending plan currently under congressional consideration. Musk called the bill a 'disgusting abomination,' criticising its pork-barrel spending and warning it would increase the federal deficit by trillions. This infuriated Trump, who responded in a rare Oval Office rant, saying he was 'very disappointed' with Musk and threatened to cancel the billionaire's multi-billion-dollar government contracts — including those for SpaceX launches and Starlink satellite services. 'Without me, Trump would have lost the election,' Musk fired back on X, Trump's preferred social media platform. 'Such ingratitude,' he added, while also hinting at deeper animosity by referencing Trump's alleged ties to the 'Epstein files' — a nod to the controversial Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Tesla shares plunged nearly 15% amid the escalating spat, wiping out more than $100 billion in market value. The acrimony was on full display as the two men traded barbs over spending cuts, electric vehicle tax credits, and even Jared Isaacman's failed NASA nomination, which Trump attributed to Musk's meddling. What went wrong? Trump accused Musk of suffering from 'Trump derangement syndrome,' suggesting that former administration officials often turn hostile after leaving office. Musk, for his part, argued that the bill was rushed through Congress 'in the dead of night' without proper consultation. As the dust settles, only one attendee seemed to benefit: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who sat silently during Trump's Oval Office tirade. For now, the Trump-Musk saga is a cautionary tale of a relationship that rose quickly, flared dramatically, and burned out in a public X-plosion.
