Hrithik Roshan's speech at War 2 pre-release event goes viral, showers praises on NTR: ‘I have learnt from you…'
The event brought together NTR and his co-star Hrithik Roshan, with the latter taking the stage to share his admiration for the Telugu actor. 'Tarak, I have not just observed you, but I have learnt from you,' Hrithik said, praising NTR's dedication and skill.
Here's what Hrithik learnt from NTR on set
Hrithik reflected on the similarities between their careers. 'I see a lot of myself in Tarak. We have had very similar journeys for 25 years now, and I think Tarak sees a little bit of himself in me also,' he said. Calling NTR a 'one-take final-take star,' Hrithik admired his ability to deliver perfection on the first try.
Sharing what he picked up while working together, Hrithik shared, 'I have learnt how to go into a shot 100% - not 99.99%, not 99.999, but 100%. Which is why when he comes out of a shot, there is no judgement on me. He will not even check the shot because he knows he has given everything to it. And I will apply that in my future films. Tarak, thank you for teaching me that.'

Saiyaara actor, 51, recalls facing bankruptcy, says he spent final Rs 250 on cheap booze and Chinese food, had zero money for three full days: ‘I don't wear those days as a medal'
Saiyaara has turned not only the Hindi film industry's fortunes around, it has also impacted the careers of everybody involved. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the movie is directed by Mohit Suri. It opened around a month ago, and has so far made more than Rs 500 crore globally, breaking several records along the way. The romantic drama also features veteran actor Varun Badola in a supporting role. In an interview, Varun spoke about the film's success, and admitted that he didn't see it coming. He also spoke about Ahaan and Aneet's talents, and looked back on his own days of struggle. He told Nayandeep Rakshit on YouTube that even in his worst days, he maintained an integrity. 'I've never asked for work. And I've never spent lavishly. I had no need for multiple cars or a large house. I lived in Goregaon, I didn't have extra cars, and I lived within my means. To this day, it's not like I have to go out for dinner thrice a week. I have kept my expenses down to the lowest minimum possible,' he said. Also read – War 2 movie review LIVE Updates: Hrithik Roshan's actioner is Thugs of Hindostan moment for YRF, says analyst; says it falls short of Pathaan, War and Ek Tha Tiger He said that he hit rock bottom despite spending carefully because life throws so many unexpected hurdles in your way. Plus, he didn't want to take up jobs just for money. There were time when people came to him for help, and he helped them out. 'It's not that I wear those days as a medal on my chest. I don't. But it happened. Many times, I wouldn't know what would happen after two months. I was an assistant director back then,' he said. Recalling an anecdote about those days, Varun said, 'A friend and I were living together. We only had Rs 250 left, and we had absolutely nothing else. We decided to go out and splurge on Chinese food. After that, we went to a quarter bar and shared a drink. We didn't have money for three days after that. We got work after that, and got through another month with that Rs 3000 or Rs 4000. But these things happen.' Varun said that he has his passions, and that he has spent on an expensive motorbike and a sound system. But that's about it. In a past interview with Siddarth Kannan, Varun had said that bankruptcy keeps knocking on his door every few years. 'I was actually down to one and a half or two months of savings. I would've had no more than Rs 2 lakh in my bank account. This was in around 2015. It was me, my wife, our four-year-old child, my parents, and two dogs. It was a family of seven, and most people don't realise this, but when you have a young child at home, your expenses goes through the roof. And then you add the dogs; it's very expensive to take care of them. I was almost down to my last penny,' he said. Coincidentally, Varun isn't the only member of the Saiyaara cast who has experienced financial hardships in their career. Not too long ago, Rajesh Kumar opened up about being Rs 2 crore in debt after investing his savings in farming. He said in a post-Saiyaara interview with Meri Saheli, 'Bankruptcy, yes. The incoming and outgoing flow had gone for a toss. There was no incoming, and I had exhausted all my reserves because of the outgoing. I went under debt of Rs 2 crore. (Bankruptcy) is a big word, but definitely, I had that feeling with me for a long time. I was not able to generate money for survival also. This was definitely a phase.'

Mohit Suri accepts Bollywood ‘actors having sleepless nights' after Saiyaara, says they were the ones who ruled him out: ‘So be it'
Saiyaara director Mohit Suri responded to recent claims made by industry insiders about how the film's success has disrupted the landscape. Previously, trade analyst Taran Adarsh claimed that certain members of the film industry were having 'sleepless nights' following the film's blockbuster box office business, while his fellow analyst Komal Nahta said that he knows of a certain male star who was visibly nervous upon learning that the film's numbers are genuine, and not fudged in any way. Asked about these reactions in an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Mohit Suri said that if the film's success has made some people lose a night's sleep, 'so be it'. He said, 'The plan wasn't to disrupt the industry. The idea was to disrupt my own life. I'd made a sequel film before this, and I didn't make a good film. Suddenly, everyone was ruling me out. You have to understand, if you've been in the industry for 17 years, and you make a sequel film with stars and it doesn't do well, people want to rule you out. I've never been there. I was always the young guy on set. A lot of actors who are getting sleepless nights probably ruled me out.' Also read – War 2 movie review LIVE Updates: Hrithik Roshan's actioner is Thugs of Hindostan moment for YRF, says analyst; says it falls short of Pathaan, War and Ek Tha Tiger But, Mohit said, it's not about them. He said that he didn't want to get stuck in a rut of making 'packages', and wanted to 'go organic' instead. He said that films were taken away from him after his previous film, Ek Villain Returns, didn't do well. He didn't mention Aashiqui 3, but Mohit was attached to direct that film, and has acknowledged that the script for Saiyaara started out as the Aashiqui project. 'The disruption was my own life. I did it my way. Everyone can clearly see that it looks like my kind of film. If other people have got disrupted of it, so be it,' he said. Previously, in an interview with Faridoon as well, Komal Nahta said that he had received 20 phone calls from industry insiders in disbelief over Saiyaara's success. 'I didn't take the actor's name so as not to embarrass them. But whatever I wrote, that he is spending sleepless nights, that he is constantly on calls asking if the numbers are accurate, every word of that article is genuine, I swear. The only detail that I have misrepresented is the number of films that person has done, but only to save them from embarrassment,' he said. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the movie has made over Rs 500 crore worldwide.
