EXCLUSIVE The Costa Del Sol bloodbath: A shocking new underworld theory is uncovered by FRED KELLY

Daily Mail14 hours ago

One week ago, at 11:30pm on Saturday 31 May, a man stepped out of a car in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol, arrived at an Irish beachfront bar packed with tourists and shot two men dead at point-blank range.
This was no hot-blooded rampage. This was a professional job. A cold, calculated mafia-style execution, and - shockingly - the seventh shooting on the Costa del Sol in just 45 days.

Supermarket worker caught at airport with £1.2million in his suitcase as he claimed he was jetting off on family holiday is jailed for money laundering

A supermarket worker who claimed he was jetting off on a family holiday when he was found with £1.2million in his suitcase has been jailed. Mazen Al Shaar, 48, was stopped by Border Force officers on March 15 as he was about to fly from Terminal Three at Heathrow to Beirut. The supermarket worker, of Marsworth Close, Middlesex, said he only had £500 in cash on him and that he was leaving the UK to visit family. But officers searched his three suitcases and two of them contained a total of £1,232,880. Al Shaar, was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday after admitting one count of money laundering. Peter Jones, NCA operations manager, said: 'Money launderers are at the absolute centre of serious and organised crime because they enable other offenders to make money from their offences. 'Criminals who deal drugs, firearms, smuggle migrants and commit other organised crime offences do so because of their greed. 'And it's offenders like Al Shaar who work hand in glove with them to make it all worthwhile. 'By seizing this money and bringing him to justice, we have broken one crucial link in the chain and we've deprived an organised crime group of the profit they expected to receive. That money cannot now be ploughed back into further offending.' A Home Office spokesperson said: 'This seizure highlights Border Force's dedicated efforts to protect our borders and keep the public safe. Our officers are trained to spot suspicious behaviour and identify attempts to move illicit cash and other prohibited items across our borders. 'We continue to work closely with law enforcement partners, including the NCA to disrupt criminal networks.'

Per the report, she said she saw suspect Alvarez pull up in his vehicle with a passenger and stop 'directly behind her car.' She allegedly saw Joss and Alvarez argue in her rearview mirror, and claimed Alvarez told Joss 'he had a gun and would shoot [Joss].' She claims Alvarez then shot Joss. Per the report, Joss was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.20pm and Alvarez was detained by police and 'immediately told them "I shot him." His weapons were seized. A statement from a San Antonio PD spokesman read: 'Despite online claims of this being a hate crime, currently the investigation has found no evidence to indicate that Mr. Joss's murder was related to his sexual orientation.' Last Saturday, Joss — who boasts 9K social media followers — shared a video of himself in good spirits, urging fans to visit him at Tribe Comics and Games in Austin, TX for a signing. Joss also lost his car in the blaze, but the GoFundMe organized by Logan Kostroun successfully raised $21,300 from a $15K goal. But neighbors told TMZ on Monday that his house burned down because he attempted to use a BBQ pit to heat it after the city allegedly 'shut off his power when the property was deemed unsafe and uninhabitable.' 'When we returned to the site to check our mail, we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress,' the South Carolina native recalled on Facebook. 'While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired. Jonathan and I had no weapons.' 'My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together,' Tristan wrote in a Facebook He continued, 'We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.' Tristan added, 'My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together.' Jonathan is also remembered for his role as Chief Ken Hotate in five episodes of NBC's mockumentary sitcom Parks and Recreation spanning 2011–2015. Joss had small roles in TV shows like Walker Texas Ranger, Charmed, ER, Ray Donovan and Tulsa King. Police officer, 36, killed after colleague ‘accidentally shot her in back during chase' as tributes paid to ‘tough' cop

A POLICE officer and mum-of-one was shot and killed unintentionally by a colleague while on duty. Krystal Rivera, 36, who worked for the Chicago Police Department in Illinois, lost her life during a confrontation between police and armed suspects. 7 7 7 The tragedy unfolded when Rivera and other officers were patrolling the city's East Chatham neighbourhood on Thursday, as reported by NBC Chicago. They decided to investigate a suspect believed to be armed at 9.50pm. The suspect fled on foot into a nearby apartment as cops ran behind, according to Chicago Police Department Supt. Larry Snelling. When police entered the apartment, another person pointed a rifle at them. An officer discharged his weapon during the confrontation leading Rivera to be shot, Snelling said. As she was being transported to the local hospital, the police vehicle reportedly caught fire and as a result, Rivera had to be put in another car, according to Snelling. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. Another officer suffered a wrist injury, requiring hospitalization, according to Fox 32 Chicago. Dozens of police officers and firefighters paid their respects, walking in procession at 3am from the hospital to the Cook County Medical Examiners Office. The Chicago Police Department said Rivera was a 'courageous and compassionate officer who devoted her career to helping others and protecting our city'. Cops foil 'Lee Rigby-style' plot to behead British paratrooper as families on airbase told 'protect your kids' 7 7 Snelling revealed Rivera was a four-year veteran and the mother of a young daughter: 'She was a mom, and there's nothing like walking into a room and having to deliver this type of message to her mother and her very young daughter and the rest of her family.' He added: 'She was a hero, and she lost her life tragically doing the job that she loved. 'That was one of the things that her mother said, she loved her job, and the way that she worked.' In an Instagram post, the Chicago Fire Department posted a picture of the tragic officer, saying she 'made the ultimate sacrifice in service' to the city. According to Snelling, two people inside the apartment fled the apartment but were taken into custody soon after. He added that 'several individuals" are in custody, as three weapons were recovered from the scene. Police and the Chicago Office of Police Accountability, which assesses incidents that involve officers firing weapons, are conducting an investigation. Speaking about Rivera, Snelling said: 'She had already processed two other guns working that day. 'She was a working police officer trying to keep the street safe. And she did great work. "And if you talk to anyone on her team, they would tell you how great of a worker she was. "This is the risk that our officers take every single day.' Snelling added that "this happens way too often", saying: "An officer, a young officer, 36-years-old and four years on the job. Who was working hard… these officers are out here driving down crime while putting their lives at risk. 'I want everyone to keep this officer's family in your prayers and understand the risk that she took every single day when she came out to do her job.' Police are reportedly issuing a search warrant for the apartment, and a forensic investigation is said to be underway in the apartment 7 7
