A MAN has been stabbed during a horror blade attack in the east end of Glasgow.
The 24-year-old was attacked on Old Shettleston Road in the city this afternoon.

He was raced to hospital to be treated for the knife wound.
The area has been sealed off by cops probing the blade attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.15pm on Friday, 15 August, 2025, officers were called to a report of an assault on Old Shettleston Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended, and a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
"Old Shettleston Road is closed at Fernan Street and Kenmore Street and motorists are asked to avoid the area."

Police raced to the incident after receiving reports of a disturbance and found a 39-year-old man injured. He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, where his condition remains unknown. Eyewitnesse s claimed there was blood on the pavement outside the flats.

Police searching for man missing since early-morning crash Officers are now appealing to members of the public for help Paul Smith Searches are being carried out in a bid to find a man last seen after an early morning car crash. Police Scotland said 43-year-old Paul Smith was last seen at about 1am on Saturday August 16 after a crash involving a Volkswagen Tiguan car on the B780, Old Greenock Road, near the Gleddoch Hotel in Langbank, Renfrewshire. Officers are now appealing to members of the public for help in tracing the missing man who might have been injured in the crash. Inspector Megan Logan said: 'Extensive inquiries and searches are being carried out to trace Paul as we need to make sure he is safe and well. 'He may have been injured in the crash and it is vital that he gets in touch with us or his family.'
