According to a Hindustan Times report, Naga Vamsi held a press meet in Hyderabad alongside the main cast, including Vijay Deverakonda, Satyadev, and Bhagyashri Borse. He was asked about the song's absence. Vamsi first responded in a light-hearted manner, asking, "You watched the film, right? Tell me where Hridayam Lopala would even fit.

He later admitted that many viewers were upset, especially those who were anticipating a romantic moment between the leads. "I know a lot of people felt bad, especially lovers, probably because they wanted to see Vijay Deverakonda kiss and they missed it," he joked.
Romantic track didn't match film's intensity
The filmmaker shared that even though they tried to fit the scene, they couldn't due to the movie's 'intensity'. He also mentioned that they were suggested to put the song in the second half of the film, however, they wanted to keep it slow for the climax to work with full impact.
'Kingdom' stars Vijay as Suri, a police constable turned spy, on a covert mission in Sri Lanka. The film also stars Satyadev as his long-lost brother Siva.
According to Sacnilk, the film has minted over Rs 15.50 crore on its opening day in India.

According to reports, the South Korean supergroup is working on a top-secret tribute project as they get ready for their reunion: recording an unreleased song that was originally written for Michael Jackson .
