Suki Waterhouse reveals she was hospitalised with a hernia for wearing pants that were too tight

Daily Mail6 days ago
Suki Waterhouse revealed she was hospitalized with a hernia six months ago for an unlikely reason, with fans noticing another unusual detail.
The English actress and singer, 33, posted a pair of images on the site X on Monday: one in which she was onstage in support of her record Memoir of a Sparklemuffin; the other in which she was in a hospital bed.
Suki told more than 165,100 followers on X about the bizarre scenario.
'"Suki you never tweet anymore'' she tweeted. 'Have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I've been too scared to tell you.'
Waterhouse - who welcomed a daughter in March 2024 with fiancé Robert Pattinson - had a small blue vape in hand in the hospital pic, which she acknowldged after a fan brought it up.
The fan said that holding a 'vape in the hospital is diabolical,' to which Suki said, 'So true.'

Other fans wished the entertainer well and related to her struggle.
Said one fan: 'LMAO!!! That was me after surgery a few weeks ago. Vape in hand.'
Another added, 'Vape on the hospital bed so true girlfriend.'
Waterhouse, 33, and Pattinson, 39, welcomed their child — whose name has not been revealed — more than 15 months ago.
The couple have been romantically linked since 2018 and are believed to be engaged.
While promoting his latest film, Die, My Love, Pattinson recently made rare comments about his experience with fatherhood as well as voicing his fondness for his baby daughter.
In Die, My Love, Pattinson and co-star Jennifer Lawrence play new parents.
This prompted them to open up about how being parents themselves has affected their work at a press conference on Sunday, May 19.
'I think, in the most unexpected ways, having a baby gives you the biggest trove of energy and inspiration afterward. It's a different kind of energy,' he told reporters.
Lawrence, 34, who shares her son Cy, three, and a newborn with her husband Cooke Maroney, concurred.
'Having children changes everything. It changes your whole life. It's brutal and incredible,' she said.
'Not only do they go into every decision of if I'm working, where I'm working, when I'm working — they've taught me,' the Oscar winner also shared.
Continuing, she explained, 'I mean, I didn't know that I could feel so much, and my job has a lot to do with emotions, and they've opened up the world to me. It's almost like feeling like a blister or something, so sensitive.'
'They've changed my life, obviously, for the best, and they've changed me creatively. I highly recommend having kids, if you want to be an actor,' she told reporters.
After hearing his co-star, Pattinson said 'It's literally just like what Jennifer said. I'm here just to support.'
'Ever since she was born, it's reinvigorated the way I approach work, and yeah, you're a completely different person the next day,' he said.
Both Lawrence and Pattinson are careful to keep their children as sheltered from the public as possible.
Neither has a social media presence and Pattinson and Waterhouse have yet to reveal their daughter's name.
Lawrence, who gave birth to her second child earlier this year, have not yet revealed the name or gender of the little one.

Musician Nick Cave has donated 2,000 books from his personal collection to an Oxfam charity shop in Hove, East Sussex. The donated books were previously part of an art installation by Cave, which had toured Canada and Denmark. The collection is described as "interesting" and "varied", encompassing philosophy, art, religion, and fiction, with works by authors such as Salman Rushdie and Ian McEwan. Fans have flocked to the shop, discovering personal items – such as plane tickets used by Cave and an old envelope that once held Cave's son's tooth – inside some of the books. ‘He's trying to tell us something' – Arsenal fans convinced new transfer is done after star's ‘message' in kit launch

ARSENAL fans are convinced the club has unofficially announced a major signing while unveiling their away kit. The Gunners had Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Martinelli and Myles Lewis-Skelly promote the jerseys they will be wearing in away matches this coming season during an Adidas photoshoot. 2 2 And Calafiori, 23, struck a pose that strongly reminded supporters of a signature celebration made famous by the club's biggest transfer target. The versatile defender pulled the collar over his mouth and the photo was then shared by the famous sporting brand across social media. That reminded Arsenal fans of Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres' popular celebration that sees him placing both hands over his mouth after scoring a goal. Of course there is no indication that the Italy international was actually teasing an imminent done deal between his team and Gyokeres. But that didn't stop Gooners from storming social media and engaging in wild speculation. One fan tweeted: " It's happening!" A third wrote: "Calafiori, we saw what you did there! Gyokeres is coming." This fan said: "Calafiori is trying to communicate something here." And that one posted: "Agent Calafiori." Arsenal are closing in on a £63.5million deal for Gyokeres with negotiations over add-ons at the final stages. The striker is adamant he will never play for Sporting again, currently staying away from training, and has his heart set on playing at the Emirates.

Charlotte Dawson dances in her underwear as she claps back at trolls over post-baby body

CHARLOTTE Dawson stripped down to her underwear to give body shaming trolls a piece of her mind. The mum-of-three, whose youngest is four-month-old daughter Gigi, decided to put on a show in her nightie followed by bra and pants to send a message to people who criticised her post-baby body. 5 5 5 While holding baby Gigi, former Big Brother personality danced to the camera while slapping her belly and proudly showing off her curves. "Just about to take me Makey off n get into bed .. and had a thought. When twat heads ask me 'have you not lost weight yet?' She's only 4 months old for one, and secondly CHUFF OFF," Charlotte captioned the post. Charlotte's fans reacted to her video in the comments section of the post. "Sexy mama !
