Rhos' popular Johns' Boys Choir announce tour dates
Johns' Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir, formed in Rhos, Wrexham, seamlessly blends contemporary chart-topping hits with choral classics, from Harry Styles to traditional Welsh hymns.
Presenting a true highlight, the shows on this exciting tour will feature Johns' Boys viral cover of Calum Scott's Biblical, which they performed in their Britain's Got Talent audition and later released as a debut single.
This worldwide hit reached number one on the iTunes Classical charts and has over 21 million views globally.
They will also perform the Welsh hymn Calon Lan and Ennio Morricone's Italian song, Nella Fantasia.
From young men of all ages and backgrounds, the ensemble come together to create an emotional, once-in-a-lifetime listening experience.
Their appearance on Britain's Got Talent launched them into the international spotlight, where Simon Cowell stated 'A brilliant choir. I love them'.
Amongst the choir's many accolades include being crowned the 2019 Choir of the World at the prestigious Llangollen International Music Festival, making them the first British male voice choir to ever win this award.
The choir's tour dates for north Wales are as follows;
Other shows will also see them perform at the likes of Cheltenham, Swansea, Bournemouth and Shrewsbury.

Pearl Slipper Burlesque to be held at Newport Riverfront
The Pearl Slipper Burlesque will take to the stage at The Riverfront on September 13, marking the first outing of a new touring cabaret show created by South Wales production company Quill & Pearl Presents. The show is curated and hosted by award-winning performer Oola Pearl, known as 'The Welsh Wonder.' Ms Pearl said: "Burlesque shows are a brilliant night out; funny, entertaining, sexy and joyful. "We want everyone in Wales to have the opportunity to come along and be part of the glitz and glamour." She has assembled a cast of rising stars from across the UK, including Bolly Ditz Dolly, and Pandora Carnage, a Burlesque Idol finalist. Welsh performers Lili Del Fflur, Goldie Luxe and It's Llewelyn will also appear, alongside Elena Candela, known as 'The Venezuelan Volcano.' The Pearl Slipper Burlesque is produced by Quill & Pearl Presents, a cabaret and theatre company founded by Oola Pearl and television writer and producer Kit Lambert. Ms Pearl is also co-producer of the sold-out Wales Burlesque Festival, which took place last year. Quill & Pearl's shows have already appeared at major venues across Wales, including the Wales Millennium Centre, Swansea Grand and Penarth Pier Pavilion. The company aims to bring high-quality burlesque to audiences across the country while giving professional performers a platform to shine. Burlesque is a form of live entertainment that blends comedy, drama, elaborate costumes, storytelling and striptease. It has a strong tradition of body positivity, self-expression and humour, and is renowned for its inclusive, female-dominated audiences and LGBTQ+ appeal. Ms Pearl said the show is designed to be accessible and entertaining for everyone. She said: "Whether you've never been to a burlesque night before, or if you're already a die-hard fan, The Pearl Slipper Burlesque is guaranteed to entertain." The Morning Live host has announced that his father, Goronwy Jones has died. Welsh television personality Gethin Jones has shared a touching tribute to his cherished father following his passing, whilst expressing gratitude to NHS staff for their compassionate care throughout his illness. The Morning Live presenter took to Instagram to open up about his relationship with his father, Goronwy Jones, confirming he died on Monday, August 11. In an emotional tribute, the broadcaster disclosed that his dad had been "poorly for a while" but noted that "the importance of faith" and "his love for classical music" stayed with him right to the end. Gethin reflected on his father's passion for rugby, which father and son both cherished, and praised the NHS workers who looked after him. Describing his dad as "strict and direct" yet "always reasonable", Gethin revealed Goronwy had dedicated four decades to teaching and served as a head teacher for 28 years, reports Wales Online. The presenter penned a lengthy tribute on his Instagram account on Monday afternoon. He posted: "'Wales defeated England..' (the famous line from Max Boyce) - Hymns and Arias with dad last night, before he left us this morning. The most perfect, peaceful end. Welsh hymns playing, and the grandsons on speaker phone saying goodbye. "Dad was poorly for a while, he put up a good fight, incredible really. It was so nice to see his dry humour, the importance of faith and his love for classical music shine through at the end. "Every day I've been at the Heath Hospital in Cardiff, someone would stop me and ask me about dad. He probably taught them at some point. "He made a big impact on education in these parts over a long period of time. He was strict and direct, always reasonable. A teacher for 40 years, a headteacher for 28! "Always grateful for the care and understanding of the wonderful NHS staff - my sister is one of them. But this time, she was also the daughter. One of the strongest I know, (and then will cry at an emotive sentence in Welsh! ). She's just been amazing, didn't miss a beat. "A little mention to her WhatsApp group with her mates. Finding the humour when needed is so important isn't it.. along with the unconditional support. A tough old week. But lucky in so many ways. #AmyneddYwAmodLlwyddo".
