Enteq launches SABER Vertical for Mideast, Africa

Trade Arabia19-03-2025

Enteq Technologies (Enteq), the specialist energy services engineering and technology company, has launched SABER Vertical, an advanced drilling solution designed to enhance efficiency and reduce operational complexity for vertical and top-hole drilling.
SABER Vertical extends the existing advantages of Enteq's directional drilling rotary steerable system (RSS), The SABER Tool, to vertical drilling, offering a low-service requirement and modular design that minimises both equipment needs and overall costs.
In regions such as the Middle East and Africa, vertical wells are often drilled in remote and demanding environments, making traditional methods expensive and logistically complex. Engineered in response to market demand and industry challenges, this innovative solution provides operators with greater accuracy, control and wellbore stability, helping to deliver a lower total cost of ownership than other systems available today.
The modular design enables adaptability to multiple hole sizes, reducing equipment requirements and enhancing operational flexibility. Its optimised wellbore stability improves drilling accuracy and control, ensuring greater precision throughout the process. The solution is also low-risk and can be deployed globally in a variety of environments, making it a practical and scalable option for operators worldwide.
Andrew Law, CEO at Enteq, said: "SABER Vertical is the result of listening to our customers and understanding the unique challenges of the market. It is inevitable that incumbent solutions for these applications are expensive due to the required large tool size, limiting commercially suitable options available to the market. With its compact design and cost-effective nature, SABER Vertical delivers a much-needed alternative, helping operators improve efficiency without compromising on performance."

Hajjah Women celebrate al-Wilayah day, affirm solidarity with Gaza

Hajjah – Saba: Hajjah Women's Committee organized on Saturday celebrations in 10 squares to commemorate al-Wilayah Day of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and express solidarity with Gaza. Participants renewed allegiance to Imam Ali, emphasizing that al-Wilayah is a mobilizing, educational, and faith-based event. The participants asserted that the nation's current humiliation stems from aligning with enemies of Islam, the Jews and Christians, and linked the aggression against Yemen to its adherence to the Prophet's family and support for the oppressed. A statement from activists highlighted that the principle of guardianship preserves the nation's dignity, condemning Zionist aggression against Iran and the silence of Arab and international regimes on Gaza. The statement reiterated condolences to Iran, affirmed rejection of Israeli aggression against Yemen, and renewed allegiance to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, pledging continued support for Palestine and calling for an economic boycott. Pakistani Defense Minister: Islamic countries threatened unless they unite today against Israel

Islamabad – Saba: Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif urged Islamic countries on Saturday to unite and collectively confront "Israel", warning that failure to act now would lead to dire consequences for the entire Islamic world. During a session of the Pakistani Parliament, Asif emphasized that "Iran is not alone in this aggression," noting that Israel has already targeted Yemen and Palestine as well. Asif warned that everyone's turn will come "unless the Islamic world unites today," calling on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an emergency meeting immediately and formulate a unified position against the Israeli aggression, according to al-Mayadeen channel website. He pointed out that the conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated dangerously after Israel launched strikes on Iranian military facilities, resulting in the martyrdom of senior Iranian commanders. Asif pointed out that Pakistan has strong historical and cultural ties with Iran, saying, "We stand with Iran in every ordeal. Their pain is our pain, and their grief is our grief." Asif emphasized Pakistan's long-standing policy of non-recognition of Israel, noting that his country has neither established diplomatic relations with Israel nor recognized Tel Aviv. He expressed regret over the largely silent Muslim world, despite the ongoing massacre of children in Palestine. Asif added, "In contrast, non-Muslims in the West are protesting Israel's actions. It is true that the conscience of the Western world is awakening, but the Muslim world remains steadfast." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Aggression's Mercenaries: Retaliatory Measures Target Citizens' Interests and Serve Occupation's Agenda

Sana'a - Saba: After all the collapse they have caused in the economic and living conditions of the Yemeni people, especially in the occupied governorates, mercenaries and agents continue their comprehensive war against citizens by all means and methods, exploiting their existing institutions and the support of the forces of aggression and occupation to strangle the people. After bringing the occupied governorates and their people to their current state of suffering and catastrophic conditions at all levels of living, services, and humanitarian aid as a result of their tampering with state institutions and the national currency over the past years, their plundering of public resources, and their war of services that has affected all aspects of life, the agents and traitors continue to adopt and take further hostile measures that primarily target citizens and their interests, these measures serve the agendas of the occupying forces aimed at dividing Yemen, undermining its unity, security, and stability, and depriving the Yemeni people of their rights to a decent life, freedom of movement, and access to all basic services. As part of these provocative and hostile steps, which deepen divisions, undermine stability, and exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people, mercenaries are issuing identity cards, passports, vehicle license plates, and other documents outside the framework of the Republic of Yemen's approved national identification number. The mercenary and agent authorities are also preventing residents of the free governorates from visiting their families and relatives in the occupied governorates and from accessing or using their property in those areas. These are dangerous steps and measures that primarily target the interests of citizens, merchants, businessmen, and low-income workers, affecting all segments of society, they also clearly target national unity and serve the interests of the foreign powers and their regional and international proxies. The danger of these measures lies in their targeting of citizens' interests and transactions, given the dangers of carrying such illegally issued documents, which expose their holders to penalties under the law. The occupation's tools were not satisfied with all the disastrous measures and decisions they took, which had a profound impact on the economy and livelihood of the Yemeni people, the most prominent of these measures was the transfer of the functions of the Central Bank, the counterfeiting of the national currency, and the printing of massive quantities of it, this led to a historic collapse of the currency, which reached record lows against other currencies, reaching more than 2,500 riyals to the dollar. These measures, which can only be described as aggressive, caused the local currency in circulation in the occupied governorates to lose more than 90 percent of its purchasing power, and were met with a dramatic increase in the prices of goods and public services, nearly tenfold. As a result of these unjust decisions, the majority of citizens in the occupied governorates were unable to purchase their essential needs, such as food and medicine. Meanwhile, the public institutions controlled by the mercenaries in those areas were unable to provide essential services, such as electricity, water, health, sanitation, and other services, this led to the spread of diseases and epidemics and the loss of many lives. As a result of all the above, the occupied governorates are witnessing a state of turmoil, protests, and escalating popular anger, expressed in the occasional demonstrations in the city of Aden and other occupied governorates, these demonstrations are met with repression and violence by mercenary militias, who pressure residents to prevent them from demonstrating and revealing the deteriorating conditions in these areas. What has encouraged the occupation and its proxies to continue these unjust measures and practices against citizens is the silence and disregard of relevant international organizations regarding the repression and violations of all rights and freedoms taking place in the occupied governorates, this is in addition to the bitter suffering endured by the residents as a result of the escalating crises resulting from the corruption and mercenary tampering with public institutions and resources, which has turned citizens' lives into hell. Many observers describe the occupation's proxies' persistence in taking further such measures as part of the plans and conspiracies of the occupying powers and their malicious efforts to deepen division and disintegration, and to gradually divide Yemen and undermine its territorial integrity. According to observers, the occupation and its agents seek, through these practices, to cover up the state of chaos, inability, and abject failure to achieve any economic or security stability in the occupied territories, this is especially true given the prevailing security and economic stability in the free governorates, which constitutes a major embarrassment to the mercenaries and their supporters, whom the local population has come to view as a gang of thieves and corrupt individuals.
