Jay-Z Joins Beyonce on Stage on Cowboy Carter Tour in Paris, Omits Kanye West's Name in Hit Song
Jay-Z reunited with his wife, Beyoncé, for their first live performance together in six years on Sunday, June 22.
Jay-Z — real name Shawn Carter — joined his superstar spouse on stage for her third and final Cowboy Carter Tour performance at Paris' Stade de France. The couple reeled off a string of their biggest hits, including 'Crazy in Love' and 'Drunk in Love,' which was remixed with Beyoncé's song 'Partition.'
The rapper also treated Paris to a live rendition of 'N****s in Paris,' his hit collaboration with Kanye West from their 2011 Watch the Throne album.
Jay-Z notably tweaked one specific lyric referring to his longtime collaborator. Instead of rapping, 'Just might let you meet Ye,' he said, 'Just might let you meet Bey,' per fan footage shared via social media.
A Complete Timeline of Kanye West and Jay-Z's Relationship: From Collaborations to Falling Out
While Jay-Z, 55, and West, 48, were once close friends, they appear to have had a falling out in recent years.
In a since-deleted X post in April, West claimed that the drama stems from their collaboration on the song 'Jail,' which appeared on his 2021 album, Donda.
'Why did Jay Z have to say 'no red hat' on Jail,' West wrote via X. 'That s*** tore me to my soul. We fought about it and he told me either leave that line on there or take my verse off. Me wearing the red hat was the most stand out example of me going against 'the program.' Do you guys think he was instructed to say that?'
In Jay-Z's verse on the track, he rapped, 'Told him, 'Stop all of that red cap, we goin' home' / Not me with all of these sins, castin' stones / This might be the return of The Throne (Throne) / Hova and Yeezus, like Moses and Jesus.'
Everything Kanye West Lost After Series of Antisemitic Social Media Posts: Talent Agency and More
The lines were a reference to West's support of President Donald Trump, which often saw the rapper wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' cap.
In March, West made headlines for disparaging posts about Jay-Z and Beyoncé's twins, Rumi and Sir, 8. (Jay-Z and Beyoncé, 43, also share daughter Blue Ivy, 13.)
Shortly after his tweets about Jay-Z's kids, West apologized in additional X posts, writing, 'I LOVE JAY Z AND I DO FEEL BAD.' He also claimed he was hurt by Jay-Z not attending his 2014 wedding to now-ex Kim Kardashian.
'I FELT LIKE BOTH HIM AND HIS WIFE COULD HAVE HELPED ME HAVE MORE LEVERAGE WITH MY KIDS,' West continued, referring to claims that he had been denied access to his four kids with Kardashian, 44. 'THEY COULD HAVE USED THEIR CULTURAL POSITION TO NOT JUST WATCH THE KARDASHIANS RUN ME OVER. S*** HURTS … SO F*** BOTH OF THEM CAUSE WHEN I NEEDED THEM IT WAS F*** ME.'

A Canceled, But Nearly Finished Animaniacs Game Has Been Found
An unfinished build of a previously missing Animaniacs game, Hollywood Hypnotics, has been found and saved by the video game preservation group Hidden Palace. Finally, the world can see and even play this lost piece of gaming history. As spotted recently by Time Extension, a nearly complete version of Animaniacs: Hollywood Hypnotics for the Game Boy Advance was shared with Hidden Palace. This was intended to be a tie-in video game based on the popular animated series that aired on FOX and later The WB from 1993 to 1998. Here's some footage of the game running: This newly uncovered build comes courtesy of users MrPinball64 and Billcat-socks. The never-released GBA game was reportedly being developed in the early 2000s by UK-based studio Full Fat Productions. A blog post written by the users who shared the unfinished game claims that development on Hollywood Hypnotics started around 2001 after a previous Animaniacs game had been canceled very early into development. However, the game's publisher collapsed in 2003, and the nearly finished game was canned. Hollywood Hypnotics features point-and-click adventure game-like mechanics as well as some 2D platforming. It is a Game Boy Advance game based on a kids' cartoon. Of course, it has some 2D platforming in it! That was the law back then. The unfinished build is fully playable on modern GBA emulators. I tested it out and it worked perfectly. The plot of the game revolves around Warner siblings Yakko, Wakko, and Dot trying to stop the famous lab mice Pinky and the Brain from turning the iconic WB Water Tower—where the trio live in the animated series—into a rocket, with the nefarious duo using hypnosis to make their evil plan happen. . Beyoncé's flying car malfunctions mid-air at Cowboy Carter show
A frightening moment for Beyoncé during Saturday night's Cowboy Carter show at the singer's hometown of Houston, Texas. Towards the end of the show, the singer is suspended in the air in a flying Cadillac as she sings her hit '16 Carriages,' from the 2024 album 'Cowboy Carter.' The red car carries her around the stadium and allows fans in further seats to get an up-close look at the superstar. However, the apparatus carrying her and the car malfunctioned at NRG Stadium, leading to a very scary moment. The car began to slowly tilt and after a little while, it got too uncomfortable for the Queen Bey's liking. 'Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,' she calmly told her crew as fans gasped. As she was slowly lowered down, Beyoncé kept her cool and continued to smile. 'Thank you for your patience,' she told the crowd without breaking a sweat. She was lowered down to safety without incident and then later appeared back onstage. 'If ever I fall, I know y'all would catch me,' she explained to her fans known as the BeyHive. While the ordeal was frightening, Beyoncé managed to have a sense of humor about it all. Her social media team posted a carousel of photos on her Instagram page Saturday night, which included a snap of the tilted car. Being from Texas, her team paid homage to the region's car and hip-hop culture by making a video montage of the incident while Paul Wall's 'Sittin' Sidewayz' featuring Big Pokey played in the background. The caption appropriately said 'Sittin' Sidewayz.' During Sunday night's show in H-Town, fan social media accounts reported that the singer ditched the flying car and performed a shortened version of the song before going into the final song of the show, which is 'Amen.' Beyoncé's next show will take place on July 4 in Washington, D.C. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.

Post Malone splits from girlfriend Christy Lee
Post Malone has split from his girlfriend, Christy Lee. The 29-year-old singer and rapper started dating Christy, a stylist, at the beginning of the year, after splitting from his fiancée, Hee Sung 'Jamie' Park last November. Now, the couple have split, with TMZ reporting the pair called it quits about a month ago. The pair were first spotted together in January, on a dinner date in Rome. Then, in March a fan shared footage of them together on TikTok. Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is currently in a custody battle with Park over their three-year-old daughter. He announced her birth in June 2022 but has never publicly disclosed her name. In legal documents she's referred to as DDP. The Grammy-award winning artist has filed for custody in Utah, while Park has filed for custody in Los Angeles. Sources had suggested to TMZ that he filed in Utah to benefit him financially, as Utah is less generous with child-support payments than California. However, his lawyer, well-known divorce attorney Laura Wasser has told the court that the little girl has ties to Utah, including her nanny, pediatrician, music classes, physical education, and swimming. The singer is due to embark on a UK and Europe Tour, called the BIG ASS World Tour.
