UAE President welcomes UK PM's intention to recognise Palestinian state
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has welcomed the intention of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to recognise Palestinian statehood. On Tuesday, Starmer said the UK was prepared to recognise a Palestinian state in September at the United Nations General Assembly, becoming the second Western power to do so after France last week.
