Comedian Bharti Singh and writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa are among the most popular couples on Indian television today. Bharti hails from a Punjabi family, while Haarsh is a Gujarati. Despite having a loving bond, which they also share with fans on YouTube, Bharti believes that a Punjabi and a Gujarati should not have kids together. Bharti recently appeared on Raj Shamani's podcast and joked about how their son, Gola, is a 'strange' combination of both cultures.
Bharti Singh said, 'Nahi karni chahiye kyuki unka bachcha bada kharab nikalta hai. Humara bachcha na… ab tak humare teen phone balti main ja chuke hain pani main. Kayi cheezein, mugs, towel, Haarsh ke kachche padosiyon ke ghar uda deta hai voh. Bohot zyada mujhe aisa lagta hai ki… pata nahi saare aise hi shararati hote hain, humara toh pehla hi hai. Bohot zyada shararati hai."
She added, 'Mujhe aisa lagta hai yeh combination kuch ajeeb nahi ho gaya, ghee aur dhokle ka? Thoda ajeeb sa ho gaya hai. Main toh kitna bolti hoon, vlog pe bhi bola hai kayi baar, ki agar kisi Gujarati aur Punjabi ko pyaar ho raha hai toh pehli hi soch lo kyuki humara bachcha aisa hai."
Bharti, Haarsh's Love Story
Bharti and Haarsh first met on the sets of a comedy show, where Haarsh was working as a scriptwriter. Their professional chemistry soon turned into a beautiful romance that captured fans' hearts. The duo tied the knot on December 3, 2017, in a grand destination wedding in Goa.
Since their marriage, Bharti and Haarsh have become one of Indian television's most popular power couples. They have worked together on several shows, including Khatra Khatra Khatra and Dance Deewane, charming audiences with their comic timing and on-screen camaraderie. Their bond is admired not just for its humour, but also for the deep respect and love they openly express for each other.
