Jeremy Renner gets on well with ex-wife Sonny Pacheco

Jeremy Renner has a "lovely" relationship with Sonni Pacheco.
The Hawkeye actor split from the Wingman actress in 2014 after just 10 months of marriage, and five years later, she sought sole custody of their daughter Ava, now 12, after alleging Jeremy had threatened to kill her and then himself and had bitten their little girl.
However, despite the bitterness between them then, Jeremy - who denied Sonni's allegations - admitted their relationship is amicable now and they co-parent well as they share custody of Ava.
He told the Guardian's Saturday magazine: "[We] get along very well, and we're in each other's lives. It's lovely...
"It's great. She's got a new baby and she sends me beautiful pictures."
The 54-year-old actor admitted Sonni's allegations about him being made public didn't "feel good".
He said: "Whatever stress I've had in life I've tried to find a way of laughing through it. And that's where sometimes cynicism comes out — you think, 'I'm just going to have a laugh at this stuff.'"
When asked to specify the "stuff" he was talking about, he added: "Being accused of things you've not done, right? That doesn't feel good to anybody. It certainly doesn't feel good when you're a celebrity and it's known to everybody."
Jeremy confirmed he was discussing the allegations made during the divorce proceedings and maintained his innocence.
He said: "No, and they happen all the time. It's all the salaciousness that happens out there. It's clickbait, and it hurts my feelings and it dehumanises people...
"It doesn't matter to me what people say.
"They're saying it for their own reasons and not for the right reasons or the truth. And I'm used to that, because I'm a public figure. I don't read people's reviews, I don't read people's comments. I don't care. That's not part of my life."
Although Sonni, 37, had fought for sole custody, the Hurt Locker star insisted it hadn't worried him that he might lose time with his daughter.
He said: "That's just lawyers talking. That's lawyers arguing. The custody was easy."
Last year, Jeremy was romantically linked to fashion journalist CC Mason but he insisted he is currently single and focused on Ava and his RennerVation charity, which supports children in foster care and those deemed at risk.
Asked if he is dating, he said: 'No, not at the moment.
'I'm pretty focused on my daughter and the foundation for the kids.'

Anthony Mackie almost lost The Hurt Locker role

Anthony Mackie almost lost his role in The Hurt Locker because he was committed to another movie with "the worst director to ever direct". The 46-year-old actor won critical acclaim playing a soldier in Kathryn Bigelow's 2008 war drama but he's revealed he was tied up on another project which ran over schedule and the part had to be given to someone else. During an episode of Variety Variety's Know Their Lines series, he explained: "Hurt Locker is probably one of the most important acting experiences I had. "We shot that in 2007, and I remember I was doing a movie in North Carolina with quite possibly the worst director to ever direct. Ironically, because of that the movie never came out. "Because of that, the movie went over and I had to pull out of Hurt Locker. They offered it to somebody else ... " However, Mackie got lucky as the other actor turned the role down because "it wasn't enough money" and the part was given back to him and he was told filming could wait until he finished his other project. He said: "They came back to me and said we'll wait, if you do it. But you've gotta be on a plane the day after you wrap." The actor went on to have an amazing experience filming The Hurt Locker on location in Jordan. He said: "So I went from this sucky director who had no business in being in the business or in the director's chair to Kathryn Bigelow. "The moment I landed in Amman, Jordan, we hit the ground running [with] cultural research, military research, character studies – the real work a director does. "It really was poignant to me the type of people I want to work with and the type of people who shouldn't be working." The Hurt Locker became a huge hit and went on to win six Academy Awards at the 2010 ceremony. Mackie has since gone on to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier and he'll be back in his superhero costume for upcoming blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. He recently revealed the cast are still 'in the midst of it' and production is 'going well'. When Screen Rant asked the 8 Mile actor if Avengers: Doomsday was close to wrapping production, he said: 'No. Hell no. No, we are in the midst of it. "I mean, it's such a big, moving set piece, and it's such a big story. The best part of shooting a Marvel movie is that it's always an ever-evolving canvas. "There are those staple pieces, and then there are the pieces that circulate throughout the course of the shoot. So, we're in the midst of it, but it's going well."

Donald Trump, Sydney Sweeney: US President says he loves Euphoria star's American Eagle ‘good jeans' ad

US superstar Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad has made it all the way to the US President, with a new revelation sparking a personal endorsement of love from Donald Trump. Sweeney, loved for her roles in TV series Euphoria and The White Lotus, is the star of American Eagle's latest ad, featuring the actress in a pair of blue denim jeans and a matching blue denim jacket. The ad campaign, showing Sweeney posing with her blond hair and blue eyes, includes the line, 'Sydney Sweeney has good jeans'. That slogan attached to the ad has sparked social media outrage from some who suggest the ad is 'nazi propaganda', drawing a connection between the words jeans and genes. Over the weekend, the Guardian revealed Sweeney is a registered Republican in the State of Florida, which has earned her the admiration of the US President, who gave her campaign a big tick of personal approval. When Mr Trump was told by a journalist that Sweeney was a Republican, he responded with excitement: 'She's a registered Republican?' 'Oh, now I love her ad. You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans... That's one I wouldn't have known. I'm glad you told me that. 'If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic!' On Friday, American Eagle released a statement addressing the growing controversy. The fashion brand said the line 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans is and always was about jeans'. 'Her jeans. Her story,' the statement said. 'We'll continue to celebrate how everyone hears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. 'Great jeans look good on everyone.' Reaction to the statement was mixed. Lauren-Ashley Beck, a popular former contestant on the US Survivor franchise, wrote: 'So what is the correlation between Jeans and eye colour again?' YouTuber Amir Odom wrote: 'Love this so much. It's literally a hot girl wearing jeans.' While another person said: 'It's giving 'I'm sorry you feel that way'.' Online, old footage of Sweeney showing off her shooting skills has resurfaces. The video shows Sweeney at a shooting range, firing a gun at targets, some in the shape of bodies. This video was captured at the Taran Tactical Innovations Practice facility in Simi Valley, California, in 2019.
