Meet Cameron Norrie's girlfriend Louise Jacobi – not Emma Raducanu: despite speculation, the British Wimbledon quarter-finalist has been dating the Chicago-born interior designer since 2019

Cameron Norrie, 29, has advanced to the Wimbledon quarter-finals after a challenging five-set victory over Chilean qualifier Nicolás Jarry. It marks Norrie's second time reaching the Wimbledon quarter-finals, making him only the third British man in the last 50 years to achieve the feat more than once – the other two being Tim Henman and Andy Murray, according to The Independent.

However, when a journalist asked a left-field question about his love life at a press conference on July 6, attention momentarily turned away from his sporting achievements. 'Apart from everyone here loving tennis, some of the gossip has been about who Emma Raducanu is dating,' the reporter said. 'Can I ask if you're dating her? Can we get to the bottom of this please?'

'Sorry?' Norrie replied, confused. 'I'm not, no. You can ask her, though. You can ask her.' What perhaps made the question even more inappropriate was the fact that Norrie has a long-term girlfriend, Louise Jacobi – a talented fashion designer and entrepreneur who's been by his side since 2019, per Hello! Magazine.
Here is everything you need to know about the tennis ace's glamorous girlfriend.

Norrie and Jacobi met in a New York City bar in 2019 through a mutual friend, per Hello! They enjoyed their first date when Norrie invited her to Vienna to watch him play.
'When he asked me, I thought, 'I guess this guy doesn't live a normal life, and it's not like I can meet [him] down the street and go to dinner together,'' she said. 'So I went on this trip and was only supposed to be in Vienna for five days, and things just went really well.'
Coincidentally, Jacobi had just been laid off at the time, which allowed them to build the foundation of their relationship before Covid-19 hit.

Last October, the couple returned to the city where they had their first date. 'Vienna was the first tennis tournament I ever went to,' Jacobi shared in a sweet Instagram post. 'Who would have thought I'd still be coming here five years later? Some photos over the years with Cam in this amazing city.'

Terence Stamp, Superman villain and ‘swinging 60s' icon, dies aged 87

British actor Terence Stamp, the villain in Superman films and a star in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, has died at the age of 87, British media cited his family as announcing on Sunday. 'He leaves behind an extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer, that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come,' the family of the 'swinging 60s' icon said. The cause was not immediately known. Stamp liked to recall how he was on the verge of becoming a tantric sex teacher at an ashram in India when, in 1977, he received a telegram from his London agent with news that he was being considered for the Superman film. 'I was on the night flight the next day,' Stamp said in an interview with his publisher Watkins Books in 2015. After eight years largely out of work, getting the role of the arch-villain General Zod in Superman and Superman II turned the full glare of Hollywood's limelight on the Londoner. Buoyed by his new role, Stamp said he would respond to curious looks from passers-by with a command of 'kneel before Zod, you b*****ds', which usually went down a storm.

Armed with TikTok, viral pickpocket-buster hunts London's thieves

On a recent weekday, Diego Galdino was on the hunt for pickpockets in central London, patrolling tourist hotspots for familiar suspects and telltale signs of those about to commit theft. Galdino, however, is not a policeman. The Brazilian food app delivery rider has become a popular, social media-fuelled vigilante targeting pickpocketing in the British capital. He started filming – and then trying to disrupt – thieves in action after witnessing several incidents. And his videos on Instagram, TikTok and other platforms under the handle 'pickpocketlondon' have proved a hit. One posted in late July on TikTok amassed nearly 27 million views – another on Instagram showing a suspect spitting at him garnered more than 12 million. 'I didn't know nothing about TikTok, I didn't know nothing about uploading a video,' Galdino said.

File photo: Reuters Carlos Alcaraz fails to make one his trademark running return shots against Andrey Rublev. Photo: Reuters World number two Carlos Alcaraz fought off a fierce challenge from Andrey Rublev to reach the semi-finals of the ATP-WTA Cincinnati Open on Friday as women's defending champion Aryna Sabalenka was sent crashing out by Elena Rybakina. Spain's Alcaraz broke Rublev in the final game of a tense duel to emerge a 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 winner and will face third-seeded Alexander Zverev, who brought the winning run of fifth-seeded Toronto Master champion American Ben Shelton to an end with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. Germany's Zverev complained of feeling dizzy and out of breath as he led by a set and a break, but benefitted from 27 unforced errors from a listless Shelton over 76 minutes. Zverev earned a 4-1 lead in the second set as Sheldon angrily tossed his racquet on the changeover, and the 2021 champion polished off the win on a second match point and now has 24 hours to try and get fit. "I'm not feeling too great now, but I have a day to get fresh," Zverev said. "I hope to be at 100 percent. I'm not sure what happened. I felt very well but at the end of the first set it got progressively worse. But I'll do all I can to give it a shot tomorrow." Alcaraz was broken while serving for victory at 5-4 in the final set against 11th-ranked Rublev, but he found his focus and used his trademark grit to come through three games later. He sealed the triumph as an emotional Rublev hit an eighth double-fault on match point. "I maintained the positive thoughts even if I lost focus a bit in the second set," said Alcaraz, whose five titles so far this year include the French Open as well as Masters 1000 trophies in Monte Carlo and Rome. Top seeded Sabalenka had no answer for 2022 Wimbledon champion Rybakina, who beat the Belarusian 6-1, 6-4 to book a semi-final meeting with Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek – a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Anna Kalinskaya. Rybakina claimed a fifth victory in her 12-match personal rivalry with Sabalenka, avenging a loss to the Belarusian in Berlin two months ago. She was aided by 11 aces as she reached her first Cincinnati semi-final. "I'm happy with the serve. It was the key today," Rybakina said. "I served really well." "If she had been serving well it would have been a totally different match," she acknowledged. Rybakina has won her last three matches against Swiatek, all played this season. Swiatek needed 93 minutes and five match points to get past Kalinskaya in what she called "the best match I played here". In other quarter-final action, Veronika Kudermetova crushed Varvara Gracheva 6-1, 6-2 and awaits the winner of Friday night's match between world number two Coco Gauff and ninth-ranked Jasmine Paolini.
