My New Carry-on Suitcase Allows Me to Pack for a Week-long Trip Without Checking a Bag, and It's 52% Off

Between visits home to spend time with my family, cross-country trips to see friends, and the occasional international vacation, it's safe to say I travel a lot. After years of frequent flying, I've come to pride myself on being an efficient and effective packer. No matter how well-honed my skills are, though, none of it matters without the right carry-on bag.
I have been loyal to the same brand for years, but a recent opportunity to try Nobl's All-in-One Carry-On suitcase convinced me to put my trusty luggage to the side. The hardshell bag promises a mix of efficiency and style, and I put it to the test over the past month. The bag comes in 12 colors and is currently on sale for 52 percent off.
A few key features stood out right away. First, the zipperless suitcase is instead held together by two buckles that are each equipped with a TSA-approved lock for security, which I found was easier compared to a standard closing mechanism. I love that I didn't have to worry about a zipper breaking during transit, and the buckles felt secure even when my suitcase was packed to the brim.
The most exciting additions are the built-in cup holder and expandable front pocket. While I brought a personal item on my trips, the front pocket, which is large enough to hold a laptop, book, wallet, and headphones, could have easily replaced a second bag. The cup holder on the back is large enough to fit a water bottle or cup of coffee, which allowed me to be hands-free while walking through the airport and boarding my flight.
Inside the suitcase is relatively typical, but I did appreciate the waterproof pocket for toiletries and the interior compression system that helped me fit more than a standard carry-on suitcase. The bag also has a phone mount on the handle, an outlet that can connect to a portable charger, and small hooks on the side for a purse or shopping bag, which I personally found less useful. The wheels have a 360-degree spinner for easy carrying and locks if needed.
I found that this suitcase is ideal for a weekend getaway, but I can get away with packing for a week-long trip if needed. It's made its way into my regular luggage arsenal and will be my go-to for quick trips this fall.
Snag the Carry-On: All-in-One suitcase while it's on sale for $279, and keep scrolling to shop more luggage deals at Nobl.

How to Plan the Perfect Destination Celebration in St. Barths, According to an Expert Travel Advisor

For such a tiny Caribbean island, Saint-Barthélemy—better known as St. Barths—packs a punch. Named by Christopher Columbus after his brother Bartolomeo, the island was briefly under Swedish rule before becoming French again in the late 1800s. Today, that unmistakable joie de vivre is precisely what keeps travelers coming back. Whether you're looking for a barefoot gathering on a secluded beach, or an over-the-top experience on a superyahct, St. Barths sets the stage for milestone moments. Below, my expert recommendations for a destination celebration in St. Barths. The first step is selecting a seasoned travel advisor with extensive experience planning events in St. Barths. It's not enough that they've booked trips to the island, or organized destination weddings elsewhere. You'll want someone who knows the lay of the land, has trusted local connections, and understands the island's unique logistics—from hotel buyouts and permit requirements to navigating the complexities of the airport. An airplane landing in Gustavia, St there are several ways to reach St. Barths—commercial flights, private charters, ferries, or boat transfers—getting 200+ guests to the island on the same day is no small feat. The island's only airport, Rémy de Haenen, has a single runway just over 2,000 feet long, and flights are weather-dependent. Keep in mind they also cannot land after sunset, making timing especially critical. Announcing your event date well in advance allows ample time to coordinate travel logistics. Flights fill quickly, and early planning ensures the best possible routing for your guests. It's also essential that your travel advisor has established contacts at the airport—someone who can troubleshoot last-minute changes and help guests navigate any unexpected hurdles. Entry requirements for transiting through St. Martin, the island closest to St. Barths, can change frequently and must be closely managed to avoid delays. The Ocean Pool Suite at Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth's. At just eight square miles, St. Barths is compact, but its accommodations are anything but ordinary. Depending on your guest count, consider a full buyout of one of the island's iconic hotels, such as Eden Rock - St Barths, Cheval Blanc St-Barth, Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, Hotel Le Toiny, or Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf. For overflow guests—or families and groups seeking more privacy—a fully staffed villa is often the most comfortable solution. Many villas offer panoramic views, private pools, and hotel-level service. Hotel and villa accommodations should be confirmed 12 months in advance to ensure availability. For maximum flexibility, consider hosting your event in November, May, or June, when the island is a bit less bustling and villa owners are more amenable to shorter stays. There's some great dining in St. Barths to consider, too. Kick things off at Sand Bar, a laidback, beachside lunch spot at Eden Rock; spend an afternoon at La Guérite, a Mediterranean restaurant on the tip of Gustavia's (the island's main town and capital) port; or go dancing at Gustavia's Le Café, a Provençal-style bistro with Caribbean flair and live music. Alternatively, Le Clandestin, a secret speakeasy in Gustavia has one of the world's top rum collections. Recently reopened and following a refresh, Le Ti restaurant is great for post-dinner burlesque cabaret. And, when it's all over, guests can unwind with a casual bite at Jojo Burger, an unfussy local favorite near Lorient. Rent a moke and explore. CarolineWhether your guests are St. Barths regulars or first-time visitors, make space in the schedule for a little island-style spontaneity. Some downtime will let them revisit favorite spots or discover new ones at their own pace. Give your guests some downtime to shop in Gustavia; join a guided hike to Les Crêtes trail for panoramic views and wildlife encounters; explore the natural pools of Grand Fond, a quartier in the southeast; take a surf lesson on Lorient Beach; or take to the water on a private boat complete with lunch and seabobs (motorized, underwater scooters). You can also rent a moke (an open-topped, doorless vehicle) and tour the island, stopping at beaches like Saline and Gouverneur; or visit the Gustavia local market, held on the first Sunday of each month. I'm a Carry-on-only Traveler, and This Genius Packing Hack Can Turn 9 Wardrobe Staples Into 6 Full Outfits

If there's anything I've learned in my decade as a travel writer, it's that there's an art to packing light. You have to strike the right balance between function and style, and every piece has to earn its spot in your carry-on luggage if you want to avoid checking a bag. So, I'll let you in on a little secret. The foolproof way travel writers and frequent fliers are achieving carry-on-only travel is called the 3-3-3 packing method. This fuss-free, minimalist approach is simple; you pack just three tops, three bottoms, and three shoes (yes, really, that's it!) into one carry-on bag and mix and match to create up to 27 looks. It's no surprise that the packing hack has recently taken over TikTok. If you're mindful about the travel clothes you select and keep everything to a single neutral color scheme, it's easy to maximize your outfits with versatile pieces that can be worn over and over again. Case in point: I've rounded up nine light, breezy, stylish, and functional pieces you can pack for any of your remaining summer trips that will effortlessly make six complete outfits (although there are even more combos you can create!) for everything on the itinerary, from travel days and hiking excursions to sightseeing and nights out. To kick off your summer trip in comfy style, wear your sleek hiking pants and button-up linen shirt (you'll want it for the chilly airplane air-conditioning, and if you wear the plain white tee underneath, you can tie it around your waist if you get hot). A versatile walking shoe like the Adidas Sambas will keep your feet protected yet stylish when you're navigating airports and train stations, but they won't feel too heavy on the go. $60 at Nordstrom $60 at Zappos Pair your matching set linen tank and skirt with your platform Birkenstocks for a flawless, breezy look you can wear around any resort or vacation destination, taking you from pool bar or beach to fine restaurant. I love that this black and white gingham pattern matches the other pants and tops, but there's a little more dimension thanks to the on-trend pattern. Style this matching set with a thin black belt at the waist like I did on a recent winery outing in Provence, and it's as if you've packed a full dress—but you can actually separate the pieces to make new looks, making this a genius set to pack. Keep it casual and stylish by pairing your maxi skirt and white tee with your comfy walking shoes for daytime sightseeing without totally sticking out like a tourist. But don't let the cute style of this outfit fool you—this look is super practical, too. The UPF 50+ tee keeps you protected from the sun while you're out sightseeing, and the lightweight fabric will keep you cool and wick away sweat. Plus, the long linen skirt will also protect you from the sun and keep things cool while covering your knees if any spots on your itinerary have special restrictions. Closed-toed shoes are a must for sightseeing to protect your feet from uneven terrain and provide plenty of support for lots of steps. There's just no way around it: if you're hitting the trails, you need the proper hiking gear. Make sure to wear your functional sweat-wicking, sun-protecting tee with your hiking joggers (they were made for this moment!) and your hiking shoes with grippy tread and support, of course. I love the Baleaf hiking joggers for warm-weather travel because they are light and breathable yet durable, which is why I've worn them on trails everywhere from Vietnam to Hawaii. And if you're going to splurge on one item for your trip, let it be your hiking shoes. Investing in a trail-ready pair from a trusted outdoor gear brand like Danner that is actually made for hiking will keep you safe and your feet happy the whole trip and beyond. (It doesn't even matter if you only wear these once on your trip; the comfort is worth it.) Plus, this style is super lightweight for easy carry-on packing. $60 at Nordstrom $60 at Zappos A classic beach look that's never out of place, this white on white combo is effortless and will match any swimsuit you've packed. The oversized linen shirt is a brilliant bathing suit cover-up and keeps your arms protected from the sun (unless you roll the sleeves up or tie it around your waist) while the linen-blend shorts give you maximum airflow for hot temps. And the Birkenstock sandals are made of water-resistant EVA material that can withstand sand and water. $60 at Nordstrom $60 at Zappos Maybe you want to show off your new sun-kissed glow when you head out at night. This cute combo fits the bill and is super on-trend with the gingham style everyone's been loving this summer. The linen material of the top and shorts means you'll be able to comfortable walk and dance through whatever you've planned, even if it's swelteringly hot outside, while your platform sandals will give you a boost, elongate your legs, and be the envy of all you meet.
