Wisconsin pregnant teen missing for 2 months found in Nebraska, man in custody
OMAHA, Neb. (WFRV) – Sophia Franklin, a pregnant teenager from central Wisconsin who was reported missing two months ago, was found safe in Nebraska late Wednesday night, and officers say the 40-year-old man she was reportedly with was taken into custody.
According to the Beaver Dam Police Department, officers were contacted by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office in Nebraska around 11:40 p.m. on April 2.

Authorities in Nebraska told Wisconsin officers they got a tip about someone seeing Sophia near Omaha, Nebraska.
After law enforcement contacted the girl and the man she was with, who matched the descriptions provided in the AMBER Alert, Sophia was safely moved to a secure facility, and the man, Gary Day, was taken into custody.
Day is reportedly the father of the child.

Sophia was 16 years old at the time she went missing. Day was 40. Over the course of the two months, three states issued an AMBER Alert for Franklin and Day: Arkansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
No additional information was provided. The AMBER Alert has been canceled.

UPDATE: The suspect has been taken into custody, according to an updated version of the release. WOODRUFF, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers in northern Wisconsin are actively searching for an armed and dangerous suspect who allegedly fled the scene of a stabbing and was picked up in a vehicle. According to the Minocqua Police Department, officers are actively looking for 36-year-old Scott Moxham, who is reportedly a suspect in a stabbing that happened in the area of Rudolph Road and Woodridge Lane in the Town of Woodruff on August 14. Wautoma adults arrested for alleged repetitive sexual assaults, one accused of incest with stepchild Officers say the alleged stabbing happened around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, when the victim was flown from the scene for treatment of stab wounds. Moxham reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived and is believed to have been picked up in a vehicle. Moxham is described as a white man, roughly 5'11', weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black hoodie. His last known direction of travel is unknown, officers say. Another false armed robbery report in Fond du Lac County, person arrested It was noted that Moxham should be considered armed and dangerous, and nobody should try to approach or apprehend him. Anyone with relevant information about Moxham's whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Woodruff Police Department at (715) 356-3234 or 911. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
