The team is primarily composed of Paris Saint-Germain players, following their 5-0 win in the final of the competition against Inter Milan last week. But a few players from other clubs have been selected, including Arsenal's Declan Rice.
The other three non-PSG players are Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni, who made the final, and Barcelona's Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, who were eliminated in the semi-final.

Rice made 13 appearances for Arsenal in this season's Champions League, only missing a League Phase game against Inter Milan through injury.
The midfielder was used as a substitute for the final League Phase game against Girona, but he started the other 12 matches, scoring four goals and assisting two more.

The 26-year-old's most notable moment was the 12-minute spell in which he scored two free-kicks against Real Madrid, and those goals only underlined a couple of outstanding displays in that quarter-final tie.
Photo byIt was ultimately a shame that Rice was unable to play the same role for the home leg of the semi-finals against eventual champions PSG, with Thomas Partey's suspension forcing Mikel Arteta to adapt and drop the England international deeper.
Arsenal ended up falling short 3-1 on aggregate, but if they hope for another long run in the Champions League next season, Rice will surely play a major role again.

FC Barcelona Now Has World's Most Expensive $458 Million Player
FC Barcelona now boasts the world's most expensive soccer player according to a CIES Observatory report shared by Mundo Deportivo. Lamine Yamal has been on Barca's books since he was seven years of age, which is when its famous La Masia academy first scouted him. Tearing through different age groups and often playing against those older than him, Lamine then made his senior first team debut aged 15 in 2023. Between that landmark and becoming a Ballon d'Or contender or Euros winner with Spain, Blaugrana president Joan Laporta confirmed that recently-crowned Champions League king Paris Saint-Germain tried to tempt Barca with a huge bid for the prodigy. MARCA had reported around the time how the Catalans received a mouthwatering $228 million (€200 million) proposal from PSG for its number 2019, which Laporta spoke about on his podcast in March 2024. 'We have offers for players like Lamine Yamal worth €200 million, and we have said no,' Laporta said. 'Because we trust in the boy, in his sporting projection, and we don't have the need [to accept]. On the contrary. We are in a process of economic recovery and can see the light at the end of the tunnel,' Laporta added. If the CIES Observatory's latest report is anything to go by, however, PSG's bid was lowball when considering what Lamine is actually worth. That is no less than $459 million (€402.3 million), which is an astronomical sum also some way in front of second place Manchester City striker Erling Haaland on $273 million (€239.6 million), third placed Jude Bellingham rated at $266.6 million (€233.8 million) and the Englishman's Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappe who joined from PSG on a free transfer last summer but is now worth $219.5 million (€192.5 million). As for the second most expensive Barca player, that was Lamine's club and country companion Pedri on $164 million (€143.7 million), who cost an initial bargain fee of $5.7 million (€5 million) from Las Palmas in 2019. Despite it still battling Financial Fair Play issues, FC Barcelona is unlikely to ever sell Lamine even if someone tabled such a huge amount of money to take him away. The teenager is simply unreplaceable, and recently committed his future to the club of his life by signing a new contract until 2031.

Arsenal in talks with Partey over new deal as Jorginho and Sterling depart
Associated Press LONDON (AP) — Arsenal is in talks with Thomas Partey to extend the midfielder's contract, the club said Wednesday, while confirming the departure of a slew of other players including Jorginho and Raheem Sterling. Partey's contract is due to expire on June 30 and Arsenal said 'discussions are on going.' The Ghana international has been with Arsenal since 2020. Italy midfielder Jorginho, Scotland left back Kieran Tierney, Brazilian goalkeeper Neto and Sterling — at one stage a key player for England — are among those confirmed to be leaving Arsenal. Sterling was only on a season-long loan from Chelsea. Arsenal has just finished second in the Premier League for the third straight season. ___ AP soccer:

PSG's Champions League glory could have been Barcelona's if Deco's vision was followed
PSG's Champions League glory could have been Barcelona's if Deco's vision was followed Barcelona's incredible resurgence under Hansi Flick, culminating in a domestic treble in the 2024/25 season, has rightly earned widespread praise. Much of the credit has gone to the players and their new manager, but behind the scenes, one figure's quiet work continues to shape the foundation of this success – Deco, the club's sporting director. Advertisement It os easy to get lost in the glitz of silverware and tactical brilliance, but SPORT's latest revelation sheds light on how Barcelona's current trajectory might have followed a very different path, one that Deco had originally planned. What's the story? When the decision was made to part ways with Xavi, Deco had only two names on his shortlist for the job: Luis Enrique and Rafa Marquez. Deco believed Enrique was the ideal candidate to extract the most from Barça's promising young core. His impressive history with the club and flair for managing youth talents made him Deco's preferred choice. Barcelona did make attempts to lure Enrique back, but the timing was not favourable. The former Barça manager had just finished his first season with PSG and was not prepared to walk away. Deco wanted Barcelona to re-sign Luis Enrique. (Photo by) In hindsight, Enrique's continued brilliance was clear for all to see as he went on to guide PSG to a continental treble, adding a second to his managerial record. It is a development that quietly validates Deco's initial judgment. Desire Doue's case Deco's eye for talent has also stood out in other areas. While all eyes were fixed on Nico Williams last summer, Deco had Desire Doue high on his radar. Advertisement Barcelona had an interest, but financial restrictions imposed by La Liga and PSG's swift manoeuvres left them powerless. Luis Campos, the sporting mastermind behind PSG's recruitment strategy, ultimately sealed Doue's signing, but not without Deco having first identified the talent. Interestingly, Deco had long advocated for Campos even before joining Barcelona's internal structure. During Joan Laporta's presidential campaign, Deco, then still a football agent, urged Laporta to appoint Campos, believing him to be the ideal figure to unearth talent amid a looming financial crisis. Laporta opted for Mateu Alemany instead, and he was later replaced by Deco himself.
