7 July 2025 17:15 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)The Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in collaboration with the Office of Weapons and Hazardous Materials, has announced the launch of the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Shooting Championship, held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports championship will take place from August 13-24, 2025, in accordance with the official regulations of the UAE Licensed Firearms Shooting Championship. The event aims to support the sport of shooting, encourage its responsible practice within the community, and align with the UAE leadership's vision of preserving and promoting traditional heritage will be hosted across three premier venues: Al Forsan International Sports Resort – Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra Shooting Club – Madinat Zayed, and Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club – Al Ain.
