Ben Stiller stopped by this Montreal poutine spot during Grand Prix weekend
Two of Montreal's most iconic dishes got some major attention over the Grand Prix 2025 weekend weekend.
First, it was Lance Stroll visiting one of the city's most beloved delis.
And now, Ben Stiller was captured in close proximity to one of the province's most famous poutines.
The Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix 2025 edition was home to 120 food vendors lining the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, offering a variety of dishes.
Ashton, located in the Green Zone, is where poutine becomes serious business: golden fries, fresh cheese curds, and hot gravy served with Quebec pride and tradition.
Ben Stiller, the American actor, writer and director, was in town for race weekend with his wife, Christine Taylor.
While the couple was snapped in and around the F1 circuit, there's one photo that has gone viral.
A post on Ashton's Instagram account showed Ben Stiller standing next to a healthy portion of poutine, complete with a fork, and the following caption:
'Ben Stiller and an Ashton poutine in the same photo was not on our bingo card.'
Ashton, purveyors of Quebéc poutine since 1969, also published a photo of Charles Leclerc's dog (the Monégasque racing driver who competes in Formula One for Ferrari), Leo, looking down at the circuit with the following caption:
'POV: Leo just waiting for his poutine at the Canadian Grand Prix'.

Chelsea dominated possession and were beginning to trap LAFC closer to their own goal. Jackson did well to pick out Noni Madueke who forced another save from Lloris. The Conference League winners broke the deadlock in the 34th minute. Neto broke the offside trap and latched onto Jackson's magnificent pass and the Portugal international cut the ball back in and fired into the bottom corner. LAFC chances were few and far between in the first period but Denis Bouanga's cross caused problems for Robert Sanchez, who flapped at the delivery and sent it behind for a corner. The American side did not want to back down to Chelsea though, and substitute David Martinez made an impact off the bench. His curling strike looked to have Sanchez scrambling but former Blues forward Olivier Giroud accidentally got himself in the way of the effort. He almost made a second with his dazzling footwork on the byline but his pass into the box was snuffed out. Chelsea continued to probe in search of a two-goal cushion and they found it in the 79th minute – Delap got the assist as he hung a ball into the middle of the box and Fernandez was waiting to tap home.

Danny Dyer reveals how dressing dilemma made him give up drugs
Appearing on The Louis Theroux Podcast, the former EastEnders star described the moment he knew he was 'destroying' his life after celebrating a win at the National Television Awards (NTAs). 'I just could not work out how to get my jeans on. 'I was just sitting on my en-suite toilet trying to work out what leg goes in what,' he told Theroux. 'I've sort of had many of them moments over the years, of me being completely off my head. 'But that one really resonated with me. 'It was more because I looked up, my wife was just watching me and she looked shattered and she looked ill.' Dyer, who has spoken before about his drug abuse, said he knew it was having a bad effect on his wife Jo, as well as their children. He added: 'It was just this moment, I thought, shit, you're going to die. You're going to kill yourself. You're not happy. You're spanking all your money on drugs. You're destroying everything around you.' Dyer, who has been filming the second series of hit drama Rivals, also spoke of his frustration at being encouraged to talk in an American accent as he tried to build a career in Hollywood a few years ago. He told Theroux that, instead of convincing them with an American accent, 'everyone thought I was Australian'. Dyer added: 'They wanted me to live there for six months, and I had small children and I hated the fact that they wanted me to speak American all the time, which is what you're meant to do out there.' He told Theroux that he is extremely proud of his upcoming film, Three Quick Breaths, in which he plays the only role, describing it as maybe 'my Hamlet'. 'We shot it in 10 days in Dublin and I had to learn 15 pages a day,' he said. 'Maybe this was my Hamlet, maybe that narcissist in me thought, can I be the only one in a film?
