Motorcyclist, 25, killed in horror two-vehicle crash as witness appeal issued
A motorcyclist died following an early morning road traffic collision in Co Armagh.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the Tandragee area of Craigavon shortly after 8am on Thursday.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) received and responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Renault Scenic car at Mullahead Road at around 8.13am.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service dispatched three emergency ambulance crews, one Rapid Response Paramedic and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were also tasked to the incident.
Despite the best efforts of the medical personnel, a 25-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were in place for some time but the Mullahead Road has since reopened, while a closure remains in place at Ballymore Road
The PSNI have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
Inspector Cherith Adair said: 'We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time and has dash cam or mobile phone footage to get in touch via 101, and quote reference number 231 of 19/06/25, or report online at http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."

ROAD CLOSURES FOR DONEGAL RALLY Gardai revealed that they will be closing down roads to accommodate the event, and provided information on the diversions to help tourists plan their trip in advance. This includes Port Road, Cullion Road, Ballyraine Road/Ramelton Road and Carndonagh Relief Road, with different closure hours assigned for each roads. PORT ROAD: The L-1004 Port Road from 4:15pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, June 19, for the ceremonial start. CULLION ROAD: The Cullion Road from 2pm on Friday 20th to 2am on Saturday 21st; from 10am on Saturday 21st to 2am on Sunday 22nd and from 10am to 10pm on Sunday 22nd. This involves the closure of the L1094/2 Cullion Road in the townland of Drumnahoagh from the junction with the L1114/2&3 Leck Road to the junction with the N56/82 Four Lane Road. The diversion route will be via the L1114/2 (Leck Road), the N13/8 (Letterkenny Stranorlar Road) and the N56/82 (Four Lane Road). BALLYRAINE ROAD/RAMELTON ROAD: The R-940-1 Ballyraine Road/Ramelton Road closed on Sunday, June 22 from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. Two men arrested after attempting to 'evade Gardai' following burglary incident
Two men have been arrested after trying to "evade gardai" following a burglary incident at a home in Co Wicklow. Gardaí from Wicklow North Community Engagement responded following a report of an incident occurring at a residence in Greystones at approximately 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon. When Gardaí arrived to the scene, they carried out a search of the residence and "discovered both men attempting to evade Gardaí," according to a garda spokesperson. The two men, both aged in their 40s, were taken to Bray Garda Station and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. The men were found in possession of a bag containing property that has since been identified as belonging to the homeowners, and has been returned. The garda spokesperson said that investigations are ongoing. The arresters were carried out as part of Operation Thor, which was launched in November 2015 with the aim of detecting and preventing incidents of burglary and associated criminal activity by undertaking targeted enforcement and preventative activity. This initiative continues to have a positive impact on the reduction of property related crime in Irish communities. Since Operation Thor was established a reduction of approximately 75 per cent in residential burglaries has been recorded between 2016 and 2023. Between January 1, 2024, and December 11, 2024, 2,058 arrests and 4,663 charges and summons were recorded in association with Operation Thor.
