Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are undergoing another internal shuffle within their team.
Four of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's employees have recently parted ways with the royal couple after Meredith Maines (Google, Hulu, American Idol) came on as their first chief communications officer earlier this year, Deadline can confirm.

Among the departed staffers are LA-based deputy press secretary Kyle Boulia and UK press officer Charlie Gipson, both of whom were hired last March. These four are the most recent exits from their team. Since stepping back from royal duties, reports suggest at least 22 people have left their team, with six in the last two months.
Harry and Meghan previously took on Emily Robinson (Netflix) as their director of communications, along with a team from Method Communications. Markle also hired Bill Gates' former assistant Sarah Fosmo as her first chief of staff last month.
Last year, their global press secretary and head of communications Ashley Hansen departed to launch her own firm, bringing Harry and Meghan on as clients. Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex's chief of staff Josh Kettler also exited following a trial period.

Before his new contract, the 25-year-old QB was getting paid less than a million a year at just over $850,000. Now that he is getting paid $53 million a year, he will no longer have to live with a roommate like he has since 2023. He will also hopefully use this extension as motivation to help lead the Niners to a better year in 2025 than they had this past season. Advertisement San Francisco finished the 2024 season last in the NFC West with a 6-11 record, which means that they missed the playoffs for the first time since 2020. The team dealt with their fair share of injuries, so not all of that disappointment can be placed on Purdy's shoulders. But now that everyone is hopefully healthy, Purdy will be looking to go out there with his new massive contract and lead the team to a bounce back year in 2025. Cosmetics giant Leonard Lauder dies at 92
Leonard Alan Lauder, who led the cosmetics company his parents founded and turned it into an international powerhouse, died June 14. Mr. Lauder was 92. He died surrounded by family, the Estée Lauder Companies said in a prepared statement Sunday. It did not say where Mr. Lauder had died. Mr. Lauder, a longtime Palm Beach resident, was the son of Estée and Joseph Lauder, who founded their company in 1946 in New York City. Their son Leonard was born there on March 19, 1933. He was a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Navy's Officer Candidate School. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and a Navy reservist, and also studied at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. In 1958, Mr. Lauder joined the Estée Lauder Companies. He was its president from 1971 to 1995, and chief executive officer from 1982 to 1999, when he became chairman emeritus. The company said in its statement announcing Mr. Lauder's death that he helped 'helping transform the business from a handful of products sold under a single brand in U.S. stores to the multi-brand, global leader in prestige beauty that it is today.' Mr. Lauder led the launch of now-familiar cosmetic brands such as Aramis, Clinique, and Lab Series, and was involved in the acquisition of other brands including Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, La Mer, and M∙A∙C. He was a noted philanthropist in art and medicine, pledging his 78-piece collection of Cubist art to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2013. He also established the Leonard A. Lauder Research Center for Modern Art at the Museum. He was a trustee of the Whitney Museum of Modern Art from 1977 to 2011, and also its chairman emeritus. Mr. Lauder was honorary chairman of the board of directors at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which his late wife Evelyn H. Lauder founded in 1993. He also co-founded and led the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation with his brother, Ronald S. Lauder, which supports cutting-edge drug research. Mr. Lauder was one of the wealthiest people in the world, with an estimated worth in the 2025 Forbes list of billionaires at $10.1 billion. Mr. Lauder was married to Evelyn Lauder from 1959 until her death in 2011. He married Judy Glickman Lauder in 2015. 'Throughout his life, my father worked tirelessly to build and transform the beauty industry, pioneering many of the innovations, trends, and best practices that are foundational to the industry today,' said his son William P. Lauder, chairman of the board of directors at The Estée Lauder Companies, in a prepared statement. 'He was the most charitable man I have ever known, believing that art and education belonged to everyone, and championing the fight against diseases such as Alzheimer's and breast cancer. 'Above all, my father was a man who practiced kindness with everyone he met. His impact was enormous. He believed that employees were the heart and soul of our company, and they adored him and moments spent with him,' William Lauder said. In addition to his wife Judy and his son William, Mr. Lauder is survived by his son Gary M. Lauder and wife, Laura Lauder; five grandchildren, Rachel, Danielle, Djuna-Bear, Joshua, Eliana, two great-grandchildren, many stepchildren and step grandchildren, as well as his brother, Ronald S. Lauder, and wife, Jo Carole Lauder, and their daughters, Aerin Lauder and Jane Lauder. A private service will be held for friends and family. Parenting Pro Elon Musk's (Very Relatable) Father's Day Tips
Driving in Los Angeles recently, I saw one of those digital billboards showing the national debt. The total at that moment was something like 36,841,875,823,151—and rising. But as the numbers that flashed by I wondered, were they counting really our out-of-control spending… or Elon Musk's children? And given the holiday this weekend, it got me thinking—who better to give Father's Day tips to America's dads than a man who has at least 14 or 15 children (as of this morning) by 4 or 5 different women? I don't know the exact number but then neither does Elon. So here we all are. George Foreman had 12 kids (or as Elon says, only 12) and decided to name all five of the boys George. Not only is that boring—even with the Roman numerals after their name—but it will have had to have been confusing whenever he yelled, 'George Junior you're getting a timeout.' Or when Mrs. Foreman screamed out George Senior's name in a moment of passion. You don't want five boys running in the room while Mom is heels over head. This is why Elon recommends every father should give each of his offspring a truly stand-out name. Not only does it give the child a sense of being unique, it greatly increases the chances that one day they could write a sequel to 'A Boy Named Sue.' The Musk kids' names include such gems as X Æ A-12, Exa, Strider, Azure, Techno, Arcadia, Seldon Lycurgus, Romulus and Nevada. By the way, that last one follows in the 1990s tradition of naming kids after the place where they were conceived—which explains why I named my kids Paris, Dakota, and Backseat of a Buick. Elon believes that kids learn by watching Dad. For example, he brought X Æ A-Xii to the Oval Office during a visit with President Trump and the very next day the 5-year-old fired 35,000 federal employees. Remember, every child wants to be just like their dad—except maybe the Son of Sam. (Editor's Note: With this reference, Mr. Macks wins the $3 prize in this week's Daily Beast obscure knowledge office pool.) Elon gets it, parenting is hard. Taking care of your offspring can be challenging whether you see them once every two years or are there in-person thanks to a court order once a month; whether you're worth a comfortable $450 billion or struggling to get by on just eight figures a year. And we all know it's those middle dozen-or-so kids that can be especially trying. But at the end of the day, no matter what problems your kids have caused, make sure you Zoom with them with a happy face—and that they see those store-bought Mar-A Lago lips, chiseled cheekbones, wide eyes and wrinkle-free forehead. As Elon says, seeing their parents that way can help a child have a better night's sleep than even a double cup of Robitussin PM. This can be summed up very simply. Never give a child a timeout or spanking—when they need to be disciplined for bad behavior or woke ideology, simply deport them. My own dear Dad taught me from an early age that 'there is no such thing as a free lunch' and 'never borrow money on the street from a guy named Lefty as he'll kill you on the vig.' Joe Biden's Dad always said, 'Joey, it's not how many times a man is down, it's how many times he can get up.' (Which coincidentally is also the Viagra slogan.) In retrospect, though, maybe he should have suggested, 'never debate after three in the afternoon.' The problem with those missives, however helpful or world-altering the guidance they provide, is that they are not translatable to all kids. They're too specific. Elon, then, advises all dads to pass along the following three maxims not just on Father's Day but every day to help shape a child's journey: 'Always thank your mothers' 'The first billion is the hardest' 'Everything in moderation except ketamine' I hope you follow this sage advice on how to raise a confident, strong brood. And in the end, no matter how hard it is to be a father in these challenging times, remember these words from another one of my heroes, Woody Allen: A Dad is a son's first hero, and a daughter's first love.
