Trump to pardon Todd and Julie Chrisley: What are the next steps?
The president hasn't officially pardoned the couple, who has spent nearly three years in federal prison for a fraud conviction.

But when he signs the pardon, Todd and Julie Chrisley could be released from prison within a couple of hours or days.
Channel 2's Michael Doudna spoke to a local attorney about a presidential pardon happening early in Trump's second term.
'To me, that signifies a change from the past, that they're willing to listen earlier,' attorney Jeffrey Ertel said.
Todd Chrisley is currently serving his sentence in FPC Pensacola in Florida, while Julie Chrisley is at the Lexington Federal Medical Center in Kentucky.

Tributes from co-stars and friends are pouring in for Tristan Rogers, the General Hospital legend whose portrayal of Robert Scorpio made him one of daytime TV's most beloved figures. Tristan Rogers originated the role of WSB super spy and hero Robert Scorpio on General Hospital on December 2, 1980. He immediately captured the attention of fans and what was supposed to be a very short-term role turned into 45 years (on and off) of one of the show's most beloved characters. He was best friends with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), father to fan favorite daughters Robin () & Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and part of not only one, but two very popular supercouples, Robert & Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert & Holly (). Robert Scorpio, and his portrayer Tristan Rogers, was everything fans could want in a daytime hero- handsome, witty, smart, and he had a very sexy Australian accent to boot. Fans were devastated when his death from lung cancer was announced. Tributes poured in on every social media site, but some of the most touching came from those who knew Rogers as more than the character he played on TV. They knew him as a friend and a co-worker, and the following tributes show how truly beloved he was both onscreen and off. John J York, who plays Mac Scorpio, Robert's younger brother, shared a candid photo of the two of them and posted, "…frozen…timeless…legend…privileged…husband…father…grandfather…we will all see you again." Kristina Wagner who plays Robert's sister-in-law Felicia Scorpio, posted a throwback soap opera magazine cover with Tristan surrounded by beautiful co-stars and said, "Tristan, You were a real Ladykiller! Rest in peace, my friend. We'll miss you." Jon Lindstrom, who plays Kevin Collins, worked with Rogers for over 40 years and posted, "I know the sadness I feel at this news is shared by so many of you. #TristanRogers was one of the coolest, funniest people I ever met. Whenever we were together, which wasn't nearly often enough, we never missed a chance to try to crack the other one up. I wish I'd had more of those chances. Tristan Rogers, the actor best known for his iconic portrayal of Robert Scorpio on General Hospital, has died at the age of 79. His death was confirmed by his longtime manager, Meryl Soodak, who shared that Rogers passed away Friday morning after a battle with lung cancer. Rogers first appeared on General Hospital in December 1980 as Robert Scorpio, a suave international spy and former WSB (World Security Bureau) agent tasked with stopping the dangerous Ice Princess from falling into the wrong hands. Unlike any character on daytime television, his portrayal of Robert Scorpio helped define the soap opera genre and cemented his status in pop culture. A Soap Legend Across Decades Over the years, Rogers reprised the role of Scorpio multiple times, including appearances as a spirit, a return to life, and in the primetime spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift in 2008. His last appearance on General Hospital came in late 2024, marking the end of a run that spanned more than four decades. Born on June 3, 1946, in Melbourne, Australia, Rogers began his acting career in the Australian television industry before making the leap to Hollywood. His early years were spent in TV roles in Australia, but it was his portrayal of Robert Scorpio that made him a household name. Police find, impound truck from deadly hit and run in Marietta
Marietta police said Friday they had found and impounded the truck believed to be involved in a deadly hit and run. The incident happened on Wednesday around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 75 northbound at South Marietta Parkway. During the incident, police said a pedestrian was hit by a truck while exiting his own car to swap insurance after a vehicle collision.
