Two men shot overnight in North Braddock
Allegheny County Police say 911 dispatchers were notified of a shooting along Seddon Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Evidence markers were scatted around the street with crime tape blocking off the area.
A short time later, police say that Turtle Creek officers received a call of two people who were shot inside a car that was parked near Penn Plaza.
The car that was parked in the area appeared to have a window that was shot out and numerous bullet holes.
Police say two men who were shot in the back showed up at a nearby hospital. Police didn't provide any details on their conditions.
Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit detectives are leading the investigation into the shooting.
Investigators say that it appears the people were shot at the scene along Seddon Avenue and then drove to Turtle Creek, where they were taken to the hospital by a family member or drove themselves to the hospital.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.

Police have released an image of a car they want to trace after a man was shot dead near a petrol station in West Yorkshire. Officers received a report at 9:43pm on Tuesday that a man had been seriously injured after a shot was fired from a car on Doncaster Road near the BP petrol station in Wakefield. The victim was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries. Police said he is understood to be a 50-year-old man who was living in the local area. A murder investigation has been launched and the victim's immediate family are being supported by specially-trained officers. The force said it believes the vehicle used in the offence was "on false plates" and was stolen in a burglary in Castleford, West Yorkshire, on 3 August. Police believe the car is a blue/grey-coloured Toyota RAV4 with a grey trim, displaying cloned plates FV53 FXT. The vehicle is described as being "distinctive due to having bull lights on the roof above the windshield". Anyone who may have seen the car following the suspected burglary or around the time of the shooting has been asked to contact the force. Police said the car may now have different number plates. Read more from Sky News: Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle, of West Yorkshire Police's homicide and major inquiry team, said: "A man has lost his life, and it is an absolute priority for us to understand the circumstances of what has taken place and identify anyone who has had any involvement in this incident." He added: "Motorists who were in the Doncaster Road area last night who have dashcams fitted are also asked to check whether they have captured any footage of this vehicle. "The driver was driving in the direction of Wakefield before they have turned around near the BP petrol station immediately prior to the shooting and then driven off in the direction they came from." DCI Entwistle said the force is "dedicating significant resources" to the investigation and there is an increased police presence in the area to "provide reassurance to the community".

A CNN commentator and frequent critic of President Donald Trump ripped Democrats over their response to his federalization of D.C.'s police force in order to combat crime. "I think a few things can be true," CNN commentator S.E. Cupp said Tuesday during "CNN NewsNight With Abby Phillip." "One is that I think he's using this issue to distract from some other things," Cupp said, appearing to refer to Trump's Monday announcement that he would be taking control of D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department, and deploying 800 National Guard troops to the nation's capital. "That doesn't mean it's a bad political strategy," Cupp said. "I think it's a very good one. And the numbers can be what they are. But also people don't feel that way. And when it comes to two things, crime and the economy, feelings don't really care about your facts." She then critcized Democrats for their response to Trump's crackdown on crime. "And I can't tell you how profoundly stupid it is for Democrats to get up with their facts and their figures and their charts and their graphs and say, 'Look, you're safe. Can't you read this chart, idiots? Why are you complaining? I'm showing you right here how safe you are. So shut up and move along,'" Cupp said. Many Democrats have been dismissive of Trump's push to crack down on crime in D.C., and have argued that crime in the nation's capital city is at a 30-year low. She also said that Democrats don't have the best track record for telling the truth. "I don't have to tell you how profoundly stupid that is, because voters told you how profoundly stupid that was in 2024, when Democrats said, 'See these economic numbers? The economy is great. What are you complaining about? See these crime numbers? Crime's down. You're safe. See these immigration numbers? Obama deported way more. There's no migrant crisis,'" Cupp said. She added, "I can't tell you enough that politics is perception. And the numbers can be right, but you never tell voters they're wrong about how they feel." Since Aug. 7, law enforcement officials in Washington, D.C., have arrested over 100 people, including 43 who were arrested Tuesday.
