
Suspect facing manslaughter charge in connection with father's death in Gatineau, Que.
A 60-year-old man has died from his injuries after he was allegedly assaulted by his child in Gatineau, Que. last week.
Gatineau Police said in a news release Friday that officers responded to a home on Promenade Lakeview in the Aylmer sector at approximately 6:15 a.m. for an assault.
On arrival, officers found the victim with serious injuries, and he was transported to hospital by paramedics.
He has been identified as Conrad Robinson, 60, police said in a news release Monday. He was pronounced dead in hospital.
The Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions has charged Keshaye Brown, 21, a resident of North York, Ont., with manslaughter.
The accused was not previously known to Gatineau police.
Brown appeared before the Court of Quebec virtually last Friday.
An investigation continues.
