Undisputed super lightweight champion Taylor and old foe Serrano will go head-to-head for a third time when they meet in Madison Square Garden, New York on 11 July.

Savannah Marshall will make her debut under Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions banner when she puts her IBF and Ring Magazine super middleweight world titles on the line against WBO champion Shadasia Green.
And unified super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney will defend all three of her world titles, and her unbeaten pro record, when she faces WBC champion Yamileth Mercado of Mexico, rounding out a stacked main card.
The preliminary card will be headlined by Dina Thorslund's bantamweight world title unification bid against IBF champion Shurretta 'Chiccn' Metcalf, and also features Chantelle Cameron's MVP debut when she defends her WBC interim super lightweight title against Jessica Camara; Ramla Ali against Lila Furtado; and Tamm Thibeault against Mary Casamassa in an eight-round, three-minute contest.
'This is the most ambitious and historic card MVP has ever delivered—a stacked lineup of elite women's championship fights on the most iconic stage in combat sports, Madison Square Garden, live on Netflix,' said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, MVP co-founders.
'With five world title fights — three unified and two undisputed — Friday, July 11 will not only be a defining night for MVP as the leader in women's boxing, but a pivotal moment for the sport as a whole.'

Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers agrees Steelers deal

FOUR-TIME NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers has agreed terms to join the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year deal, the club confirmed on Thursday. The 41-year-old quarterback struggled last season in a 5-12 campaign with the New York Jets, who fired coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas along the way. The Steelers are due to play the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park on 28 September in what will be the first ever competitive NFL game to take place in Ireland. Advertisement 'We have agreed to terms with QB Aaron Rodgers on a one-year contract, pending the completion of a physical,' the Steelers confirmed in a post on X, formerly Twitter. ESPN and The NFL Network reported earlier that Rodgers told the Steelers he would arrive on Friday to sign a contract and begin preparing for workouts Tuesday through Thursday of next week. The Steelers lacked a veteran signal caller after Russell Wilson was signed by the New York Giants, but in Rodgers have landed a future Hall of Fame quarterback with 62,952 career passing yards and 503 career touchdown passes. Pittsburgh will offer Rodgers a chance to face his former clubs with a season opener on 7 September at the Jets and a 26 October home game against the Green Bay Packers, with whom Rodgers won the 2011 Super Bowl by beating the Steelers 31-25. In a 20-year career, Rodgers won MVP honors in 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021 with the Packers. Last season, Rodgers completed 368 of 584 passes for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. – © AFP 2025

Dublin-bound Aaron Rodgers agrees one-year deal with Steelers

Aaron Rodgers will wear black and gold for his 21st season in the NFL, after the Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to terms with the four-time MVP quarterback on a one-year contract. The club confirmed the deal - which isn't official pending a physical - late Thursday night. Rodgers, 41, reportedly plans to fly to Pittsburgh to sign the contract and intends to participate in the Steelers' mandatory minicamp next week. The Steelers, the NFL team in greatest need of a quarterback, will open the 2025 season on the road against Rodgers' former team, the New York Jets, on 7 September, and Rodgers will likely start opposite Pittsburgh's Week 1 starter last season, Justin Fields, who joined the Jets in free agency. The Steelers will also play the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park on 28 September in the first regular-season NFL game to be held in Ireland. Before Rodgers' long-expected agreement, Mason Rudolph was the presumed starter for the Steelers. Rudolph returned to the Steelers after one season with the Tennessee Titans. Pittsburgh moved on from Russell Wilson, who replaced Fields seven games into the 2024 regular season. Wilson is now a member of the New York Giants, and he is expected to be their starter. Rodgers comes to Pittsburgh after two disappointing seasons with the Jets. He sustained a season-ending torn Achilles tendon on the fourth play of the 2023 season, his first with with the team, and the Jets went 5-12 behind Rodgers in 2024, causing the franchise to clean house. The 10-time Pro Bowler who won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011 had also been linked to Green Bay's divisional rival, the Vikings, who instead will move forward with JJ McCarthy under centre.
