Search on for 2 suspects in Yuba City after reports of multiple vehicle thefts
This happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday in the Gidda Loop and Josephine Way area.
It was reported that three vehicles were stolen, and one more was attempted, according to deputies.
One of the suspects can be seen wearing a security jacket with patches and a badge.
In a surveillance video that the Sutter County Sheriff's Office shared to social media, a suspect can be seen entering a car. The video goes on to show the suspect using a flashlight to look around. The suspect can be seen exiting the car and leaving the scene.

Plans to recruit 30,000 more police officers take up the biggest chunk of this bill, estimated at £10.5 billion overall. Mr Farage has pledged 12,400 new prison places on MoD land at a cost of £5 billion, and five new 'Nightingale Prisons' to be built with the assistance of the Army. He also wants to see more than 10,000 more prison places freed up by deporting foreign criminals to their country of origin through bilateral agreements, and Mr Farage said he was 'in conversation with Edi Rama', the Albanian prime minister over prisoners. The party also wants prison places overseas in places such as El Salvador, a 'dynamic prisons' policy that the party estimates will cost £1.25 billion over the course of a parliament. Mr Farage said that he would be prepared to take back British criminals who are in foreign prisons as part of his plans. He told reporters at the press conference that 'of course we're prepared to take British prisoners from other parts of the world. 'That's fair, right and proper.' Mr Farage pledged that Monday's event was the start of a six-week campaign on law and order, as Parliament is about to begin its summer recess break.

California man accused of ramming car into LA crowd is convicted felon out on parole, police say
The suspect accused of driving his car through a crowd of people in Los Angeles is a convicted felon who was out on parole, reports said. Fernando Ramirez, 29, of San Clemente, is expected to face a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon following early Saturday's incident, which left 36 injured outside the Vermont Hollywood nightclub. Ramirez was convicted of felony battery and sentenced in 2020 for attacking a man outside a Whole Foods grocery store in June 2019, KNBC reported Sunday. He was on parole at the time of Saturday's crash, but it's unclear whether it was in connection with the 2019 attack or another case. Ramirez has had at least 11 criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, KNBC reported. In January 2022, he was charged with felony domestic battery and entered a not guilty plea. That case remains open and he also has a pending DUI case, the station added, citing the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Los Angeles Police Department Public Information Officer Jeff Lee previously told reporters that the Nissan Versa "became disabled" when the driver plowed into the crowd. Subsequently, the driver was allegedly "pulled out of his vehicle, physically assaulted by the bystanders. And during that altercation, somebody produced a firearm and shot the driver." As of Monday morning, police were still searching for the suspected shooter, described as a man with a goatee in a blue Dodgers jacket. Lee added that he was aware of reports that the suspect was kicked out of the Vermont Hollywood nightclub, but that he could not confirm whether that was the case. He said it was something the police were "definitely" looking into. A line of people — mostly women — were waiting to enter the Vermont Hollywood around 2 a.m. when they were struck by a car that also hit a food vending cart and valet stand, Fire Capt. Adam VanGerpen said Saturday. At least 36 people were treated for injuries including fractures and lacerations, police said Sunday without providing updates on their conditions. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred early Saturday morning outside our venue. Inquest begins into 2022 fatal police shooting of La Loche, Sask., man in Saskatoon
Saskatoon police knew all about Ronnie Glen Herman when they began chasing him through yards in the city's Mayfair neighbourhood late on a Thursday afternoon in October 2022. Nine months earlier, police shot the 36-year-old from La Loche, Sask., in the arm, when he rushed police outside a house on Avenue L South in Saskatoon armed with a machete and replica handgun. Two years earlier, in 2021, Herman was the subject of an RCMP alert in La Loche, just over 500 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon, wanted for assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and failure to comply with probation. And, in 2009, when he was 22, Herman pleaded guilty to manslaughter for his role in the beating death of a teen in a parking lot in La Loche. On Monday, a coroner's inquest at Court of King's Bench will begin deconstructing the sequence of events that led to Herman's fatal shooting by Saskatoon police. "The guns and gangs unit became aware that a 36-year-old male, who was wanted by La Loche RCMP, was in the 1300 block of Avenue E North and was armed with a gun," police Chief Troy Cooper wrote in a statement the following day. "The male was in breach of release conditions and had removed his electronic monitoring device." People living in the houses near where Herman died say dozens of plainclothes and uniformed police with guns drawn converged on a two-storey house across from the Mayfair elementary school around 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2022. Witnesses say police ran through yards and jumped fences and decks, squaring off with Herman both inside and outside the corner house. The neighbours heard shouting and the sound of multiple gunshots. Police said in a news release that they confronted a suspect in the home before police fatally shot him. No police or bystanders were hurt. The established neighbourhood was busy at the time of the shooting — parent-teacher interviews had just started at the school and kids were out in the playground. The inquest will feature 18 witnesses, including a paramedic, a registered nurse, a pathologist, two civilians and 14 police. Timothy Hawryluk will be the presiding coroner.
